Chapter 28. Attention of King Alec

Queen Roseline felt her body returning to freshness and her stomach ache slowly subsided after drinking warm chamomile tea. Queen Roseline then sat down casually on the chair, as her body was still a little weak. Marie came in with a bowl of meat soup on a tray.

"Your Majesty, please eat the soup first. Don't let His Majesty's stomach be empty." Marie's speech was soft.

Marie sat next to Queen Roseline and was about to feed the soup into Queen Roseline's mouth.

"I'm not a child, Marie. I can eat by myself." The protest of Queen Roseline with her confused face.

Marie smiled gently.

"Isn't His Majesty always asking for a bribe if he's sick like this?" Ask Marie.

Queen Roseline smiled. "I'm sorry for being too spoiled for you and always making you a fuss, Marie."

"Your Majesty need not apologize. Servant is happy to do it. Come, open his mouth Your Majesty."

Queen Roseline also said. Marie put the soup back in Queen Roseline's mouth. Queen Roseline accepted it with pleasure. Her heart was so happy because Marie was so loving and caring for her.

"Your Majesty must eat a lot, so that soon healthy again. For it is not only the servants and the occupants of the queen's court who are concerned about His Majesty's health, but also His Majesty." Marie.

Uhuk... (Queen Roseline choked)

Marie immediately took a drink and Queen Roseline immediately gulped down the water.

"Hamba apologizes Your Majesty. Is Your Majesty okay?" Marie asked with a laugh.

"Your lips are worried about me, but your attitude is laughing at me." Queen Roseline's great-grandson while bending her face.

Marie couldn't help her laughter either. "Hamba is sorry, but His Majesty's face is really adorable."

Marie's feeding Queen Roseline's mouth soup.

"But what I say is true, Your Majesty. His Majesty is very worried about His Majesty. Actually, His Majesty himself prepared chamomile tea when His Majesty was cleaning himself earlier. His Majesty also ordered the palace chef to make this meat soup so that His Majesty's body is powered back." Bright Marie.

Queen Roseline chewed her food slowly.

"Have you now changed course and sided with His Majesty?" Queen Roseline asked.

Marie smiled.

"Of course not, Your Majesty. But I noticed His Majesty's attitude has changed. His Majesty's attitude is not as cold as it used to be, even now he cares deeply for Her Majesty the Queen." Answer Marie.

"Does His Majesty not wish to open his heart again to His Majesty?"

Queen Roseline fell silent, and recalled the plight of Queen Roseline as a result of King Alec's attitude. Anger and resentment again filled Queen Roseline's heart, especially when imagining King Alec giving her the death penalty. Queen Roseline closed her eyes, and took a deep breath.

"Humans can change, but Marie can change too. Let time answer whether King Alec is worthy or not." Queen Roseline.

After finishing her soup Queen Roseline sat on a long chair while reading the novel she had bought from the bookstore, as Queen Roseline walked out of the palace. Queen Roseline's eyes are getting heavier. It did not take long both her beautiful eyes were closed and a smooth breath sounded.

"Sincerely, Your Majesty." Marie.

"How's the Queen doing?" Ask King Alec.

"The queen is better off after drinking tea and finishing her soup." Answer Marie.

King Alec smiled faintly.

"Does His Majesty want to see the Queen?" Ask Marie.

King Alec was silent. He hesitated to enter the room, afraid that Queen Roseline would be unhappy. But on the other hand he was eager to see the state of the woman he loved. King Alec stepped his foot and Marie opened the door slowly. King Alec circulated his eyes and looked at Queen Roseline who was asleep on the chair.

King Alec approached her slowly and moved the book that Queen Roseline had read to the table. King Alec crouched down near the chair and observed the beautiful face of the sleeping Queen Roseline. King Alec rubbed Queen Roseline's face gently, then let out a long sigh.

"How can you sleep on a chair in pain, Queen? Your body could get sick later." King Alec muttered with a smile.

King Alec immediately moved Queen Roseline's body slowly onto the bed and wrapped it in a blanket. Queen Roseline squirmed her body for a while, making King Alec's heart flutter. King Alec is afraid that Queen Roseline will wake up and get upset to see her presence there. King Alec sat down as he continued to look at the peaceful face of Queen Roseline.

King Alec got on the bed and laid down his body, then pulled Queen Roseline into his arms. King Alec inhaled the scent of Queen Roseline's body which made him very comfortable. Unknowingly Queen Roseline draped her hand to the sturdy waist of King Alec and further immersed her face in King Alec's chest. The masculine aroma that emanated from King Alec's body made his body become relaxed and his sleep more soundly. King Alec chuckled softly. He could not imagine if Queen Roseline saw their current position.

"I'm really stupid for ignoring you, Seline. I'm sorry I wasted you and made you suffer. I can't change the course of our lives in the past. But I will correct my mistakes in the present and the future." Said King Alec while rubbing the head of Queen Roseline slowly.

"I make sure you are the only woman who will fill the space in my heart. I've really been so deeply mired, I'm in love with you Seline. I'm not gonna let you leave me. I will fight to reopen the door of your heart and make you fall in love again."

Queen Roseline squirmed her body as she felt the warmth of the sunlight rushing through the window. Queen Roseline smiled, for a long time she had not felt the sleep soundly and comfortably. Queen Roseline blinked her eyes slowly and was surprised to find herself in bed.

"Why am I in bed? As I recall I was reading a novel while sleeping on a chair." Queen Roseline's Murmuring.

"His Majesty is awake?"

Queen Roseline turned her head and saw Marie who had changed clothes and looked fresh, standing next to the bed.

"What time is it?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"It's 10 in the morning, Your Majesty." Answer Marie.

Queen Roseline widened her eyes. "That means it's almost noon."

"Yes, Your Majesty. It seems that Your Majesty is enjoying your sleep very much." Marie.

Queen Roseline nodded her head.

"Why am I in bed? I remember I was in a chair." Ask Queen Roseline.

Marie smiled.

"His Majesty the King came to visit, because His Majesty is very worried about your situation. It was the King who had moved Her Majesty the Queen to the bed."

Queen Roseline rounded her eyes.

"Baginda King?"

"Yes Your Majesty. Early this morning, His Majesty has also come to ensure your condition. His Majesty left after finishing his breakfast here while waiting for His Majesty who is still sleeping." Bright Marie.

Queen Roseline's face instantly blushed red. Queen Roseline sharpened her sense of smell and realized there was a distinctive scent of King Alec's body on the side of the bed that was beside her. Queen Roseline got her body from top to bottom.

"It turns out he's not a perverted guy. My clothes are still tightly sealed and my seal is still safe." Queen Roseline muttered with a shy smile.

Queen Roseline immediately woke up and cleaned herself, then ate food because her stomach was very hungry.

King Alec with Marquess Filan left the meeting hall and walked towards the queen's palace. King Alec's thoughts continued to be filled by Queen Roseline. As soon as the meeting was over, King Alec immediately rushed to meet Queen Roseline. Marquess Filan immediately ran when she saw a man in black clothes climbing the wall of the queen's palace fence.

"Hey, who are you?" The Hardik Marquess Filan.

"Aarhh!!"

The man was shocked and slipped and fell. His body fell right above the body of Marquess Filan. King Alec immediately ran over and widened when he saw the position of the two with lips intertwined.

"What are you guys doing?" Hardik King Alec.
