Chapter 42. The Too Late Regret

"Alright, but I must ask His Majesty's permission first." Answer Queen Roseline.

The little party ended when dusk was almost here. The kings and queens immediately retired and returned to the guest pavilion.

Queen Roseline is walking in a garden filled with red roses. Queen Roseline smiled happily.

"Alice!"

Queen Roseline gasped when someone called her Alice. Queen Roseline turned her back. How surprised he was when he saw that there was a woman in a white dress who had the same face as him.

"Queen of Roseline." Queen Roseline (Alice).

That woman is the real Queen of Roseline.

"Queen Roseline!" Alice continued to shout while running and trying to touch the body of Queen Roseline, but the body of Queen Roseline disappeared right before her eyes.

Queen Roseline (Alice) gasps with gasping breath. He was shocked when he realized he was soaking in his bathtub. While soaking earlier, Queen Roseline (Alice) falls asleep and dreams of meeting the real Queen Roseline.

"Why did Queen Roseline suddenly enter my dream?" Murmuring Queen Roseline (Alice).

Queen Roseline immediately finished her soaking and came out in a dress that Marie had put on her bathroom table. Queen Roseline never returned to her room with only a bathrobe. Finished with the berries, Queen Roseline ate dinner in her room.

"What is the importance of His Majesty until the King misses his dinner?" Grouse Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline was wasting her breath rough. "It feels lonely and boring eating alone without His Majesty. All this time I've been used to eating with His Majesty. This can't go on. I don't want to be dependent on him."

King Alec ignored the words of Marquess Filan. King Alec immediately stood up as he wiped his tears and took his sword back. King Alec took his foot into the queen's palace. Marquess Filan followed him from behind.

Queen Roseline flinched as the door of her room opened violently. Queen Roseline was surprised to see King Alec enter with a sword held in his hand. The eyes of King Alec were red and puffy.

"Baginda!" Queen Roseline.

Marquess Filan, who arrived in front of the Queen's room, shut the door and asked the servants and guards to stay away from her, except for Marie and Felix.

"Don't try spreading rumors if you still want to see the sun rise tomorrow. Assume you don't see anything." Firmly Marquess Filan with her sharp gaze.

The servants and guards nodded in understanding, then immediately went away from Queen Roseline's room in fear.

King Alec walked over and knelt down right before Queen Roseline. Queen Roseline widened her eyes.

"I'm sorry Queen. I've been a cruel and despicable husband." Said King Alec with a warm face and tears that wet his handsome face.

Queen Roseline was silent.

"Today you have repeatedly saved my life and risked your own. And I'm..." The words of King Alec were restrained.

"I cruelly punished and tortured you after you drank the poison given to me. I'm really mean. I'm sorry."

Queen Roseline understood where King Alec was talking. His anger instantly rose as he recalled what Queen Roseline had experienced before.

"But regret is of no use anymore, Sire. All that suffering has happened." Queen Roseline said coldly.

"Yes, the Queen is right. Therefore, give me the same suffering."

King Alec raised his sword and handed it to Queen Roseline. Without hesitation Queen Roseline directly took the sword and pointed it at King Alec's neck. King Alec was silent and resigned. He was ready to make amends for all his mistakes with his life.

"Do you think that by killing you, all the suffering I've experienced will simply be gone? It won't! What you've done can't just disappear. Every wound you give won't heal easily." Shouted Queen Roseline.

"You're the Queen Roseline left and will never come back. And dragged me into this world." Inner Queen Roseline (Alice) while shedding tears.

Queen Roseline threw the sword on the floor. King Alec's heart felt slashed to see Queen Roseline cry.

"I beg the Queen not to let out your tears again. Punish myself. I'm willing to accept all the punishment you've given me." Please King Alec.

"Take me off." Queen Roseline.

"W-what do you mean, Queen?"

"Free myself and let me go." Queen Roseline.

"No-no Queen. I'm not gonna let you go." Shouted King Alec.

"But I want it." Queen Roseline's.

King Alec took out his sword again and pointed the tip of his sword right at his chest.

"I'd rather die than see you go."

King Alec was about to stab himself, but quickly Queen Roseline held King Alec's hand.

"Let me make amends, Queen." Ogre King Alec with a smile.

"If you die silly like this, it's the same as ignoring all the sacrifices I've made for you." Queen Roseline.

King Alec fell silent, then dropped his sword. Queen Roseline stands up.

"His Majesty should return to the king's palace now. I want to be alone." Said Queen Roseline as she walked closer to the window.

King Alec did not budge and remained on his knees.

"His Majesty did not hear my words. Leave me alone!" Snapped Queen Roseline without looking back.

Bugh....

Queen Roseline turned around and saw King Alec's body on the floor.

"Baginda!"
