Chapter 66. The Arrival of King Alec

The next day, everyone in Mr. Ronaf's residence was surprised by the arrival of guests who would stay at Mr. Ronaf's villa. It turns out they are not just anyone. Everyone widened their eyes when they saw the chariot symbolizing the Kingdom of Cardania.

Everyone looked at Mr. Ronaf.

"For God's sake. I really don't know if His Majesty will come here." Mr. Ronaf said convincingly.

"Damn! That means King Alec is actually deploying his men to search for our whereabouts." Groused Duke Ramon.

Queen Roseline's breath felt choked when she found out who was in the horse carriage. A servant opened the door and King Alec came down with his lips.

Queen Roseline's heart was pounding very hard. There was a feeling of surprise but also pleasure when he saw the man he missed so much. Unknowingly Queen Roseline developed a smile on her lips.

"Sheel." A woman exclaimed with her potency from inside the horse-drawn carriage and made Queen Roseline's smile disappear.

King Alec extended his hand and helped a red-haired beautiful woman get off the carriage. The woman who was none other than Princess Viviane. Princess Viviane smiled happily as she looked at the scenery around Mr. Ronaf's Residence.

"Do you like this place, Princess?" Ask King Alec.

Princess Viviane nodded. "It's so beautiful, Sire. And in this beautiful place we'll start it all. I'm sure this will be the most beautiful memory of our lives."

Queen Roseline squeezed her dress, her heart was sliced to hear the conversation of the newlyweds. King Alec and Princess Viviane walked over.

"Honor, Your Majesty."

"It turns out you're hiding here." King Alec said cynically.

Duke Sullivan and Mr. Ronaf were shocked and looked at each other.

"We are not hiding, Sire. We just want to live quietly where we want to." Queen Roseline said coldly.

"So you're assuming the queen's palace is no longer your residence, Queen?" Ask King Alec.

"Queen?"

"Is she Queen Roseline, Sire?" Princess Viviane asked with a surprised face.

"Sincerely servant, Queen." Princess Viviane saluted, then smiled towards Queen Roseline.

"Welcome, Princess Viviane." Queen Roseline forced her smile.

"I'm sure the Princess must be very tired after a long journey. Waiter, escort His Majesty King and Princess Viviane to their rooms in the guest pavilion."

"Thank you, Queen." Princess Viviane.

Princess Viviane hugged King Alec's arm. "Baginda, I'm hungry. I want to eat delicious roast meat." Princess Viviane Whine.

"Looking roasted meat? I once ate the most delicious roast in the world, and it was a roast made by the Queen. Right, Queen?" King Alec.

Queen Roseline looked at King Alec as she hardened her jaw.

"I want the Queen to make a special roast for Princess Viviane. I hope the Queen doesn't mind." Pinta King Alec makes Queen Roseline even more upset.

"No need, Sire. How could the Queen make food for me, whose position is below." Said Princess Viviane with an unpleasant face.

"Again, Sire. Let the servants make the roast for His Majesty and the Princess." Duke Ramon.

"No. I just want to eat the Queen's roast." The King of Alec.

Duke Ramon tried to hold back his emotions. The Queen Roseline today is unable to smell meat.

"But, Sire..." Duke Ramon protest.

"Sister."

"I'll make you some roast meat. Come on, Marie." Queen Roseline goes to the kitchen with Marie.

"The Queen is very kind, Your Majesty. I'm so happy." Said Princess Viviane with her potion.

Duke Ramon gave a look of hatred towards Princess Viviane, but was met with a sweet smile by Princess Viviane. The upset Duke Ramon immediately went after Queen Roseline.

"Daughter, go to the pavilion with the servant. I still want to stay here and talk to Duke Sullivan and Mr. Ronaf. I'll pick you up at dinner time. We'll have dinner with the Queen and the Duke's family." King Alec.

"All right, Sire." Princess Viviane was escorted to the guest pavilion.

Lord Ronaf and Duke Sullivan invited King Alec inside because the air was getting colder.

"Alice. What the fuck? Why do you want to cook for them, while right now you're avoiding meat. Just smelling it makes you dizzy and nauseous?" The Duke Ramon.

"So calm down. I'll wear a cloth cover so it doesn't smell on my nose." Answer Queen Roseline.

"You'll just prepare the season, let Marie and the servants and process the meat." Duke Ramon was upset.

Queen Roseline nodded in agreement. After a few hours, the roast was cooked and served in the dining room. King Alec came with Princess Viviane and the two sat side by side. Marquess Filan stood beside King Alec.

"Good fun for your dinner. Hope you like it." Said Queen Roseline with a faint smile.

"Sit Queen. We will not be able to finish all this food. You and your family are also eating with us. So do you, Marquess Filan." The King of Alec.

"This is the Queen's order, not an offer. I'm ordering all of Duke Sullivan's family to come eat with us. And if you dispute my orders, I will not hesitate to punish you." Shouted King Alec.

"Baginda outrageous." Grumpily Queen Roseline while sitting beside the King on the other side.

Duke Sullivan, Duke Ramon and Lord Ronaf soon joined them. They immediately sat down, as did Marquess Filan. Marquess Filan circulated her gaze in search of Arabella's whereabouts.

"Where is Miss Arabella? Does he want to deny my orders?" Ask King Alec.

"Arabella was ill and had to rest in her room. The waiter brought food to the room." Ketus Queen Roseline.

Marquess Filan widened her eyes, she was worried about Arabella, but not a single word came out of her mouth. Although he knew very well the pain suffered by Arabella.

The maid from Princess Viviane took food for her master.

"Curtain! Truly a spoiled woman." Duke Ramon's lips in his heart.

"Queen, please get me some food." Said King Alec while handing over his plate.

"Why isn't Princess Viviane the only one to take it, Sire. Princess Viviane is already your wife." The Queen of Roseline.

"Daughter Viviane's hand is sick. And I want the waiter to take it for me." King Alec said as he looked down on his lips.

Queen Roseline snorted in annoyance. He immediately took the plate from King Alec's hand and filled it with food, then he put it back in front of King Alec.

"Thank you, Queen." Said King Alec with a satisfied smile.

Queen Roseline did not say anything and ate the food Marie had prepared for her.

"It's delicious, Queen. The queen is very good at cooking. I want to learn to cook from you, Queen." Praise Princess Viviane.

"You're too complimentary, Princess." Queen Roseline's heart is short.

"Why does the Queen only eat vegetable soup?" Ask Princess Viviane.

"Yes, Queen. You also have to eat the meat, so that your face looks fresher. You've been looking pale since." King Alec took out a piece of grilled meat and placed it on Queen Roseline's plate.

The faces of Duke Sullivan and Duke Ramon looked extremely tense.

"Why do you guys look so tense? I only give you a piece of meat and it's not poison." King Alec.

Duke Sullivan and Duke Ramon turned their eyes and continued to eat their food. Queen Roseline had to eat the meat so that King Alec did not suspect. Queen Roseline immediately finished her meal.

"Have you finished eating, Princess?" Ask King Alec.

"Here you go, Sire." Princess Viviane replied.

"Then we return to the pavilion now." King Alec.

King Alec and Princess Viviane were both farewell and immediately returned to the guest pavilion. Duke Ramon left the dining room while running towards Queen Roseline's room. In her room Queen Roseline spewed all the food from inside her stomach.

"Are you okay, Alice?" Duke Ramon was concerned to see Queen Roseline sitting limp on a chair.

"I'm fine, Brother. Soon the nausea will also disappear. Can you get me an apple?"

Duke Ramon took an apple and peeled it before he gave it to his sister. "Eat a lot so that your nausea quickly disappears."

After making sure Queen Roseline's condition improved, Duke Ramon went and took her sword. Duke Ramon stepped into the back garden.
