Chapter 3. Meet King Alec

Roseline and Marie walk through the park that connects the Queen Mother's palace and the Queen's palace. Roseline stopped her steps.

"Marie, pick up some red and white roses." Roseline.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Answer Marie.

Marie immediately plucked some red and white roses.

"His Majesty the Queen." Call Marquess Filan.

Roseline turned her body.

"What's the Marquess Filan?" Ask Roseline coldly.

"How is Her Majesty the Queen? Today you look different." Marquess Filan said with a smile.

Roseline pursed her lips.

"My news is good, Marquess. Since when did Marquess Filan speak courteously to me? I'm more pleased with Marquess Filan's former attitude, looking more honest and not hypocritical." Roseline said in frontal.

"I know that the Marquess never liked me and my presence in this palace. The Marquess need not worry. Soon, the Marquess no longer needed to see my presence here. Because the figure of the queen you want will soon be present." Said Roseline, then left Marquess Filan who was still silent.

"What does the Queen mean?" Marquess Filan muttered in disbelief.

Roseline stood by the window of her room and stared out the window.

"Is Her Majesty sure to leave the Queen's position and exit the palace?" Ask Marie.

Roseline smiled, then hugged Marie. Marie was very surprised to get such treatment from the woman who became her lord.

Roseline took a deep breath.

Roseline smiled.

Felix is the man Duke Sullivan has raised since childhood. She is 2 years older than Roseline. Just like Marie, Felix devoted his life to Duke Sullivan's family.

"Sincerely, Her Majesty the Queen." Felix.

"Sit down Felix." Roseline.

Felix sat down in front of Roseline.

"My brother must have told you that from now on you will be my personal bodyguard." Roseline.

"Yes Your Majesty. From now on servant will devote my life to you." Felix.

"Tell the butler to face me right now." Roseline's orders.

"Your Majesty." Said Marie, then went out to call the butler.

No matter how long, Marie had returned with the butler of the Queen's Palace.

"Greetings Her Majesty the Queen." Said the butler, bowing his body.

"What's your name?" Ask Roseline again.

"Zeya, Your Majesty." The woman replied with a fake smile.

"Aarrgh!" Zeya Shouts.

"How dare you corrupt the Queen's Palace's finances!" Jerky Roseline.

Zeya widened her eyes. She had not expected that Queen Roseline would find out about her cheating.

"What do you mean, Your Majesty?" Zeya asked pretending not to understand.

"How dare you give unworthy food to the servants and soldiers in the Queen's Palace. Not only that, you also feed them twice a day." Jerky Roseline.

"I-that's not right Her Majesty the Queen." Said Zeya while kneeling.

Roseline throws the Queen's Palace's financial books before Zeya.

"In this financial book the money you spent with the food you gave to the servants and guards at the Queen's Palace is not appropriate. Want to give up, especially?" Jerky Roseline.

Zeya was silent with a trembling body. He can't give up anymore.

"Guard! Put this servant in the palace prison!" Roseline's orders.

Roseline laughs.

"You think I'm scared. I can even eliminate you right now." Roseline said with a grin.

"Take this woman out of my presence immediately!" Roseline's orders.

The guards immediately entered and took Zeya out of the Queen's room, and put her in jail.

Roseline took a deep breath.

"We're going to the kitchen now." Roseline.

The servants were very surprised by the arrival of Queen Roseline in the kitchen, because the Queen had never once set foot in the kitchen.

"The servants. Prepare all the food ingredients that are here, including eggs and meat. This time, I'll cook myself." Roseline.

The servants widened their eyes.

"But Your Majesty." Marie Protest.

Roseline orders Felix and the guards to roll out the carpet in the garden gazebo. Roseline wants to have a meal together with everyone who lives in the Queen's Palace.

"Why are you still standing?" Roseline asked who was sitting on the carpet.

The servants and guards immediately raised their heads.

"Sit down!" Roseline's orders.

They all went to their knees.

"Sorry Her Majesty, we dare not. We don't deserve to sit with you, because you're our Queen." Said one of the servants.

"Sit down immediately or have your heads chopped off one by one. I want to eat with you. This is an order from your Queen." Roseline Sahut.

The guards and servants complied.

"Marie shared the food with them. Everyone should get the same portion." Roseline.

"Thank you very much for the generosity of Her Majesty the Queen. May Her Majesty the Queen always be happy and live a long life." Speak all the servants and guards with a sense of happiness mixed with.

"The same prayer for you." Answer Roseline.

The servants and guards ate voraciously, even though the food menu felt foreign to them. Seeing the happiness of his servants and guards, made Roseline's heart warm.

Roseline felt her heart pierced by a sharp object when she saw the face of the man who became Queen Roseline's husband. It was the feeling of the real Queen Roseline.

As the party stopped, King Alec immediately descended from the horse. King Alec was standing right in front of Roseline. Roseline immediately removed the King's robe and replaced it with a new one.

King Alec noticed Roseline's current appearance. No glamorous dresses and thick make up. Even Queen Roseline did not look at King Alec's face in the slightest. This surprised King Alec. If before, Queen Roseline always spread her smile to attract her attention.

King Alec just nodded his head. Then step closer to the Queen Mother.

"Welcome back my son." Suri Helene said as she hugged her son.

"Thank you Mother." King Alec.

From a royal carriage came down a beautiful blonde woman assisted by a servant. King Alec immediately walked over and stood beside Countess Sarah.

"Meet the Queen Mother and all of you, she is Countess Sarah daughter of Count Donovan. He had a wound on his left arm from an arrow to protect me from the rebels. For a time, Countess Sarah would stay in the palace to get treatment from the palace healers." King Alec said with a smile.

Duke Sullivan and Ramon are trying to contain the anger within them.

"Thank you Countess Sarah for your kindness." Said the Queen Mother.

"Together Her Majesty the Queen Mother." Countess Sarah said as she tried to bend her body.

There were many nobles and court officials who praised Countess Sarah's heroic attitude.

"Marie, we're back at the Queen's palace now." Roseline.

King Alec sees Queen Roseline leaving with her servant. King Alec felt that something was stirring in his heart. Suri's mother was silent when she saw Roseline's departure from there. "How about the Queen? His attitude looks different." Ask King Alec.

"The Queen's attitude changed after the awakening from her stupor. The Queen fainted for 2 days after getting the punishment from you." Terang Filan's.

"And lately the Queen has been in and out of the palace, with the permission of Her Majesty the Queen Mother." Added.

King Alec scratched his forehead. King Alec and Marquess Filan immediately walked towards the king's palace.
