Chapter 6. Does He Hate me?

Queen Roseline, Marie and Felix have arrived at the farmers' fields with two carts filled with wheat seeds as promised yesterday. Queen Rosaline also sent Felix's men and several workers from Duke Sullivan's hospital who numbered dozens of people came to help. They brought all the farm equipment.

"Good morning, Miss. We're so happy, you've finally arrived." Sapa Gustav's. "And who are they? Are they your employees?"

"Good morning, Gustav. You're right, they're gonna help us. Did you guys collect what I asked for yesterday?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"Already, Miss. We have prepared as much animal waste as possible. And our wives and family members will also help." Answer Gustav.

"Sorry Miss, what are we going to do with this much animal waste?" Ask the other farmers.

"What's your name?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"My name is Javier." The answer.

"Good question, Javier. We'll make the animal manure." Answer Queen Roseline.

"Fruit?" farmers are confused.

"Yes, it's called natural fertilizer. And certainly much better for soil fertility. We plow the land in this field first, then mix the soil with this animal waste. Then we sow the wheat." Obviously Queen Roseline.

"We understand, Miss." Gustav, Javier and the other farmers.

They immediately did what Queen Roseline had explained. Queen Roseline also helped, without feeling the slightest disgust.

"What does His Majesty do? Your hands and body will get dirty and smelly. White and smooth skin you can get sunburned later." Marie said slowly.

Queen Roseline smiled.

"You don't have to worry, Marie. None of this is gonna hurt me. For skin problems, I can take a milk bath later." Queen Roseline replied casually.

Marie could only sigh deeply.

During the day their work was finished, because it was done by many people.

"This is Your Majesty, your drink." Felix said as he handed the bag of drinking water to Queen Roseline.

"Thank you, Felix."

Queen Roseline immediately gulped down the water.

"Then this work is done as well. Hopefully these seeds can grow well and the farmers can do the harvest later." Roseline.

"Of course, Your Majesty." Marie Sahut.

Gustav, Javier and the other peasants soon approached Queen Roseline.

"Thank you very much, Miss. Because of your help and that of your men, our wheat fields have become more fertile and good again. How can we repay your kindness? Honestly, we don't have any money right now." Gustav.

Queen Roseline looked one by one at the faces of those farmers who looked down in shame.

"From the beginning I told you, if I intend to help you. And I don't want any reward. But there's one way you can get back at him." Roseline.

"W-how's Miss? Do we have to be your servants or slaves?" javier asked with a slightly scared face.

Queen Roseline shook her head with a smile.

"No. I want you to take good care of these fields and wheat crops." Roseline.

The peasants stared at Queen Roseline with sparkling faces.

"Of course, Miss. We promise to take good care of her." Speak of farmers.

"Sorry, Miss. If only you knew who you really are? We mean what's your name?" Ask Gustav.

"You can call me Rose." Answer Queen Roseline.

"Okay, Miss Rose. Once again we thank you very much for your help and your people." Gustavo represented the farmers.

"Either. Alright. We go first." Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline immediately boarded her horse.

"Be careful, Miss Rose and gentlemen." Say all farmers.

Queen Roseline smiled as she waved her hand. Queen Roseline and her entourage immediately went away from the wheat field. While on the road they stopped.

"I thank all of you for helping so incredibly today." Queen Roseline.

"Together, Your Majesty." The words of Felix's men and Duke Sullivan's workers.

"Before you go home, you stop by Duke Sullivan's residence. My brother, Duke Ramon will give each of you a bag of gold coins in return for you today." Said Queen Roseline.

They immediately kneeled.

"Thank you very much, Your Majesty. May Your Majesty always be healthy and long-lived." Say them.

"Now you can go to the Duke's residence." Roseline.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Say them.

The group of workers immediately went to Duke Sullivan's residence.

"We're going to the market now." Queen Roseline.

"For Your Majesty. Shouldn't we go back to the palace? Your Majesty should clean up immediately." Felix.

"If we go back to the palace in this state it will definitely invite suspicion. We go to Bernard's shop to change our clothes first." Queen Roseline.

Roseline, Marie and Felix immediately drive their horses towards Bernard's boutique. They did not go through the front door of the boutique, but through the back door they had been accustomed to before.

Mr. Bernard immediately opened the door upon hearing a knock.

"Your Majesty." Exclaim Mr Bernard.

Mr. Bernard was very surprised when he saw the condition of Queen Roseline and her two servants who looked very dirty and smelled of animal feces.

"Mr Bernard. Is Madame Bernard here?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"There's Your Majesty. Please come in." Answer Mr. Bernard.

Mr. Bernard immediately headed to the front room to call his wife and closed their boutique.

"What's my husband? Why did you close our boutique door sooner?" Ask Mrs Bernard.

"Come here. Her Majesty the Queen is coming. He's in the back room." Answer Mr. Bernard slowly.

Mistress Bernard who was sewing immediately stopped and walked over to her husband. The husband and wife immediately went to Queen Roseline.

"Sincerely, Her Majesty the Queen." Madame Bernard bowed her body in salute.

"Stand, Mrs Bernard." Queen Roseline.

Madame Bernard immediately stood up straight.

"Please forgive. What's the matter Your Majesty came here for? Is my made-up dress lacking, Your Majesty?" Madam Bernard asked a little worriedly.

"The sound is no problem, everything looks perfect. I've asked you to make the same clothes we're wearing now." Answer Queen Roseline.

"Before Your Majesty, I'll take it." Lady Bernard, then opened a new closet and took three pairs of clothes.

"This is Your Majesty." Mrs Bernard said as she put the shirt on the table.

"Of course it may be Your Majesty. But sorry our bathroom is small and very simple." Said Mr. Bernard.

"That's no problem." Queen Roseline's.

"Wait a minute, Your Majesty. I'll prepare the hot water first." Said Mrs Bernard.

Queen Roseline nodded. After waiting for 30 minutes, Queen Roseline immediately headed for the bathroom with Mrs Bernard. The bathwater for Queen Roseline is ready. Mrs Bernard has also prepared a new and clean towel for Queen Roseline.

After Queen Roseline finished cleaning herself and changed her clothes, Marie and Felix also did the same thing in turn. Mrs Bernard has made some warm tea and some bread for Queen Roseline and her servants. Queen Roseline really enjoyed the bread and warm tea because her stomach was very hungry.

"Mr Bernard, where can we get a lot of spider web threads and wool threads?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"All the ingredients were in the Silla region located in the northern region of the Cardania kingdom, Your Majesty. The trip there could take about three days if using a horse carriage." Answer Mr. Bernard.

Queen Roseline simply nodded and thought.

"Do you have any fellow tailors in the area?" Ask Queen Roseline again.

"There's Your Majesty. Most servant brothers work as seamstresses, only in a few different places." Answer Mrs Bernard.

"good. After I get those ingredients, I want you to bring them in. I want you to make a lot of clothes." Queen Roseline.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Answer Mr and Mrs Bernard.

Queen Roseline, Marie and Felix soon left Bernard's boutique and returned to the palace.

"Honor, Your Majesty the King. Her Majesty the Queen is back." Report a guard to King Alec who is in his room.

King Alec simply nodded, then immediately stepped his feet towards the palace courtyard.

"His Majesty the King." Greet Countess Sarah.

"Countess Sarah." Answer King Alec.

"Where is the King's Majesty going? Can I come with you?" Ask Countess Sarah.

King Alec nodded.

"I'm going to the front page." Answer King Alec.

King Alec and Countess Sarah immediately made their way to the palace grounds in tandem with Marquess Filan and Nara's servant walking behind them.

"I didn't like Queen Roseline. But I don't like this woman any more." The Inner Marquess Filan.

No matter how long, Queen Roseline arrived. Queen Roseline immediately got off her horse. Felix immediately asked the guards to take the Queen's horse and put it in the stable.

Queen Roseline rolled her eyeballs and snorted in annoyance as she looked at the two people she did not want to see.

"Greetings, Your Majesty the King." Greet Queen Roseline.

"Where have you been the Queen? Almost every day you go out of the palace. Have you forgotten your position as a Queen in this kingdom? Can't you do your job as Queen well?" King Alec looks angry.

Countess Sarah slightly pursed her lips. In his heart he was delighted that King Alec was scolding Queen Roseline. Queen Roseline could see Countess Sarah's thin smile. Queen Roseline immediately looked at King Alec's eyes sharply.

"Hamba came out of the palace not just to play His Majesty. And which Queen's duty, which servant does not do well? I have arranged all the servants in this palace well. The servant also carried out his duties as the daughter-in-law of the Queen Mother well. All the reports I have to make are also always completed on time."

"Which task is Your Majesty? If Your Majesty means the duty of a wife who is always beside Your Majesty, who always wants to cling to Your Majesty, I admit that I cannot do well. Because there's already someone else who takes the place of servant." Queen Roseline said coldly.

King Alec fell silent and digested Queen Roseline's speech.

"I heard the Queen is practicing the sword. What did the Queen do it for?" Ask King Alec.

Queen Roseline smiled cynically.

"For what? Of course to protect myself from harm." Answer Queen Roseline.

"Did the Queen forget that she already had a husband, a King who was great at fighting? It was even dubbed the "God of War"." King Alec.

"The servant has not forgotten His Majesty. But in every servant's life threatened, His Majesty was never on the servant's side." Queen Roseline.

King Alec saw the sadness and disappointment from Queen Roseline's eyes. King Alec was clenched, and his tongue felt stifled.

"Hamba please have permission to return to the servant's palace, Your Majesty." Said Queen Roseline, then saluted her and put her foot out.

Soon, his steps stopped and turned around.

"Ah, I forgot to say. You two look very compatible." The Queen of Roseline quipped her lips.

King Alec is shocked to hear Queen Roseline's statement. Queen Roseline and Marie immediately walked away. King Alec was still silent as he looked at the body of Queen Roseline who was getting away.

"Your Majesty." Call Countess Sarah.

"We'd better keep our distance from Countess Sarah. If there's nothing important, don't come to see me. I don't want the Queen to be misunderstood." King Alec said coldly.

King Alec immediately returned to his room with Marquess Filan. Countess Sarah is still standing petrified. His heart ached hearing King Alec's words. Her tears slowly drip.

"Are you okay, Miss?" Ask Nara.

Countess Sarah immediately wiped away her tears.

"We're back in the room, Nara." Said Countess Nara while walking towards the guest pavilion.

King Alec immediately sat in his chair while pondering. Marquess Filan continued to pay attention to him without daring to ask.

"Filan." Call King Alec.

"Yes, Your Majesty." The Marquess Filan.

"Does the Queen hate me so much?" Ask King Alec.

Marquess Filan took a deep breath.

"Please, Your Majesty. When viewed from the Queen's eyes, it was seen that there was hatred, anger, and disappointment mixed into one." Marquess Filan replied carefully.

King Alec fell silent, then walked towards the window. King Alec gazed towards the Queen's garden palace which was right under the window of the King's private room. King Alec widened his eyes and hardened his jaw when he saw Queen Roseline was swinging her sword and slashing some plants brutally, to vent the anger she felt at this moment.
