Chapter 72. Ignored

Queen Roseline came out of her room in a hurried step by continuing to circulate her gaze looking for the whereabouts of her brother, Duke Ramon. His steps were also directed to the family room.

"Dad, where's Brother Ramon?" Ask Duke Sullivan.

"Your brother's in the front yard with Felix and Dean. What's up Alice? Do you want something, my daughter?" Duke Sullivan's.

"Mh... I want to eat the wild rabbit meat, Dad." Queen Roseline.

"Western rabbit?" Duke Ramon shouted from the door.

Queen Roseline turned her head towards the door then nodded her head with a clear face. "I beg you, Brother."

Duke Sullivan and Duke Ramon couldn't help but laugh when they saw Queen Roseline's adorable face.

"Do you want to eat the forest rabbit meat? Are you having a cravings?" Asked King Alec who had accidentally heard their conversation.

Queen Roseline was silent and did not answer. He was still reluctant to meet let alone talk to King Alec. Queen Roseline had always avoided him, although King Alec had already tried to always be gentle with her. King Alec realizes that Queen Roseline (Alice) still can't forgive him. King Alec could only stare at her from afar because Queen Roseline wanted there to be some distance between them.

"Yes, Sire. Alice was trying to eat the forest rabbit meat." Duke Sullivan said.

"Wait a minute. I'll get a forest rabbit for you." King Alec said with a smile.

"no need. I want Brother Ramon to get it for me." Reject Queen Roseline made a smile on King Alec's face disappear.

"Aren't you going to get me a forest rabbit?"

Duke Ramon nodded. "alright. Brother's gonna hunt with Felix and Dean."

"Thank you, Brother." Queen Roseline said with a happy smile.

King Alec was happy to see Queen Roseline's smile again, even though the smile was not aimed at her. After the death of Duke Ramon, Queen Roseline returned to her room and ignored the existence of King Alec there. King Alec stared at the departure of Queen Roseline with a sad look on his face.

"Sheel." Call Duke Sullivan.

King Alec looked towards Duke Sullivan and forced a smile on his lips. "I'm fine, Duke. It's not easy to forgive someone like me who's hurt his feelings too much."

Duke Sullivan smiled knot. "Hamba apologize, Sire. The servant could do nothing. The servant left all the decisions in Alice's hands, because the servant wanted to see her happy."

"I know, Duke." King Alec stepped away.

Queen Roseline is enjoying her own chocolate cookies while drinking warm tea with Arabella and Marie in her room.

"Is Miss still angry with Her Majesty?" Ask Marie.

"Can't you talk about that guy, Marie. You just ruined my appetite." Queen Roseline was upset.

"Hamba I'm sorry, miss. I just want to remind you that forgiveness is better than holding grudges and anger. Forgiveness makes our hearts and lives more peaceful." Marie.

Queen Roseline snorted in annoyance.

"I'm still upset with King Alec. But what Marie said had a point, too, Alice. After all, he is the father of the two babies in your womb." Arabella.

"But to forget about it isn't that easy, Ara." Queen Roseline's.

"I knew. Forgiving King Alec, doesn't mean you should forget all his attitude that has hurt your heart and come back to him. Do not let your hatred and anger go down to your children. Do you want them to hate their own father?" Arabella.

Queen Roseline was silent.

"What Miss Ara said is right, Miss. Your Majesty is very worried about Miss. Every night His Majesty would stand guard in front of the room to make sure Miss was okay. His Majesty was in front of the room for most of the night." Added Marie.

"That's his own wish. Besides, what she's worried about isn't me, but the two babies in my womb." Ketus Queen Roseline.

Arabella and Marie fell silent. They didn't want to make Queen Roseline's mood worse.

"Your Majesty. Princess Viviane is outside and wants to meet Her Majesty the Queen." Report one of the servants.

"Do you want that woman to come here?" Ask Arabella doesn't like it.

"Send him in." Queen Roseline.

The servant immediately invited Princess Viviane to enter.

"Sincerely, Her Majesty the Queen." Said Princess Viviane while saluting.

"Greetings Miss Arabella."

Arabella simply nodded while forcing her smile.

"Please sit down, Princess Viviane."

"Marie, make some warm tea for Princess Viviane.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Answer Marie.

"How are your hands, Princess?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"My hand is better, Queen. The wound is hard to close. Thank you for your concern, Her Majesty the Queen." Princess Viviane replied.

Queen Roseline pursed her lips. "What need have you come to see me for, Princess?"

Princess Viviane took a deep breath before speaking.

"I want to apologize to you, Queen, for I have made a misunderstanding between the Queen and King Alec. All we did was a show. And between us there was nothing but a cooperative relationship. I admit King Alec is a good friend and nice to talk to despite his cold attitude like ice. But I swear I don't have any feelings for her." Bright Princess Viviane.

"So, please forgive me and also forgive King Alec. I really feel guilty for making your relationship stretch." Added.

"Did King Alec ask you to come here?" Read Queen Roseline.

"No. King Alec doesn't know if I'm here. I came here of my own accord." Princess Viviane replied.

Queen Roseline smiled. "I've known everything Princess. And I don't get angry or hate you. I know you did the charade so you could avenge your mother's death."

"Then, why is the Queen still angry at King Alec?" Ask Princess Viviane.

"The thing that happened between me and King Alec has nothing to do with you. So, you don't feel guilty anymore, Princess Viviane." Answer Queen Roseline.

"I'm sorry if I'm presumptuous, Queen. The Queen is pregnant right now, isn't she? It would be nice if you two make up for the sake of your baby. King Alec loves you very much Queen." Princess Viviane.

Queen Roseline was silent with her jaw slightly hardened.

"You better not interfere in their affairs, Princess Viviane. If you don't have any more business here, you'd better get going. I know you're trying to get close to Brother Ramon right now. Is it because King Alec rejected you, that you immediately switched course to Brother Ramon?" Cynical Arabella.

Instead of being angry or offended, Princess Viviane laughed instead.

"You are a wonderful woman, Miss Arabella. It's worth Marquess Filan to be crazy about you." Princess Viviane.

Arabella widened her eyes. "Don't talk recklessly to divert our previous conversation."

"I'm not bragging Miss Arabella. Do you know that Marquess Filan was very angry when she learned of the charade between me and King Alec. And he vented his anger on King Alec." Princess Saying.

"Marquess Filan dared to scold King Alec?" Arabella doesn't believe it.

Princess Viviane nodded. "Marquess Filan endlessly grumbled in front of King Alec. Even Marquess Filan to deliver one hard blow to King Alec's face, for it has infuriated you and left. Even Marquess Filan asked to be transferred to the border if you're not willing to forgive him. Marquess Filan loves you very much, Miss Arabella."

Arabella was silent. He remembered that for these few days Marquess Filan kept coming to him to apologize and try to explain all these misunderstandings. However, he remained cold-minded and reluctant to talk to Marquess Filan because of the annoyance he still felt. Though deep in her heart, Arabella misses the man who made her fall in love.

"For Duke Ramon's troubles. I admit, I was interested in him. And it's not because King Alec rejected me. It's been a long time since I've had feelings for Duke Ramon." Bright Princess Viviane.

Queen Roseline squinted her eyes. "Have you met my sister before?"

Princess Viviane simply smiled without answering, then she withdrew and left Queen Roseline's room.
