Chapter 48. Changing Direction

Lady Xena continued to run without direction while crying. Suddenly his steps stopped when the road he was walking through was deadlocked.

"Where am I now?" Lady Xena muttered while sobbing.

Lady Xena circulated her gaze which all looked like a wall overgrown with tall plants.

"This is a labyrinth." Guess Lady Xena.

Lady Xena ran into the garden and accidentally entered the maze in the palace garden. The cry of Lady Xena grew increasingly fearful, especially the lighting in the labyrinth was very little.

"Please! Help u! Get me out of here!" Lady Xena shouted for help.

Lady Xena walked in the opposite direction and hoped she would find a way out of the labyrinth. After a long walk, Lady Xena felt exhausted. He dropped his body on the ground and leaned against the labyrinth wall while hugging his body due to the increasingly cold night air. He was right under one of the lights in the labyrinth.

"Sister, help me. I'm scared."

"I beg anyone please get me out of here." His issue.

While in the guest pavilion, Queen Cetta looks upset because she did not find the whereabouts of Lady Xena.

"Sheel." Call Queen Cetta when King Abraham returns to their room.

"What's the Queen? Why do you look so worried?" Ask King Abraham.

"Lady Xena is not in her room. The servant had also searched for him around the guest pavilion, but still could not find him. Lady Xena's maid said Lady Xena hasn't returned to the room at all." Answer Queen Cetta.

"Huh, that kid is really troublesome. He shouldn't have come to this palace. I hope he's not looking for trouble with King Alec or Queen Roseline." The wrath of King Abraham.

"Where are you going?" Ask Queen Cetta.

"I'm going to the palace of the queen of Roseline to see King Alec and ask for his help to find Xena."

"Hamba come, Sire."

King Abraham and Queen Cetta immediately rushed to the Queen's palace. King Alec and Queen Roseline are shocked by the arrival of King Abraham and Queen Cetta.

"Is there any need for King Abraham and Queen Cetta to come here? If you guys want to discuss the matter that's going on in the dining room, I don't think it's necessary." Asked King Alec coldly.

"We apologize to King Alec and Queen Roseline if our arrival disturbs your togetherness. We came here because we wanted to ask King Alec for help." Answer King Abraham.

King Alec scratched his forehead. "What help do you mean?"

"My cousin, Xena, disappeared. We've been trying to search around the palace's guest pavilion and dining room, but Xena wasn't there. I'd like to enlist the help of His Majesty's soldiers to search for him. I was afraid something might happen to her, let alone the atmosphere getting darker and colder. I beg your kindness King Alec." The Light of King Abraham.

"All right."

"Soldier!" Call King Alec.

"Sincerely, Sire."

"Gather some soldiers, spread out around the palace and find Lady Xena." The King of Alec's.

"Ready, Sire!"

"You two can come with my soldiers." King Alec.

"good. Thank you King Alec. We go first." Said King Abraham.

"May Lady Xena be found soon." Queen Roseline.

"Thank you Queen Roseline." Queen Cetta's.

King Abraham and Queen Cetta soon leave the Queen's palace, looking for Lady Xena with the palace warriors.

"Does His Majesty not want to go look for Lady Xena?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"No." Answer King Alec.

"Alright, then I'll help them find Lady Xena's whereabouts. Because after all Lady Xena is one of the special guests in this palace." Rau Roseline.

King Alec immediately pulled the hands of Queen Roseline.

"Wait, Queen. Why do you have to make yourself bother? Didn't that woman put you down with all that she said?" The King of Alec's Protest.

"Stay, I'll go look for him. He was a relative of King Abraham and Queen Cetta, our friend. If Your Majesty doesn't want to come, you better go back to the King's palace." Ketus Queen Roseline.

King Alec exhaled his coarse breath.

"No. I'll go with you. I don't want anything to happen to you." King Alec said as he pulled Queen Roseline's hand and walked away from the Queen's palace.

Queen Roseline poked her lips at King Alec's annoyed face.

"If Your Majesty manages to find Lady Xena's whereabouts, I'll allow Your Majesty to stay overnight at the Queen's palace." Queen Roseline.

King Alec stopped his steps and looked at Queen Roseline with a smile.

"Is the Queen serious?" Ask enthusiastically.

"Yes. But only sleep, nothing more." Queen Roseline.

"No problem. Just sleeping, and surely the Queen will hug me as usual. Ahhe... I'm already impatient. We'd better hurry and find King Abraham's cousin soon." Said King Alec excitedly.

"Gee! Very confident of him. Wherever I might hug her, she must have stolen the opportunity while I slept." Queen Roseline's Murmuring.

Inside the labyrinth, Lady Xena was getting cold. Suddenly he heard the sound of a wooden branch being trampled on making him startled and increasingly frightened.

"Who's there?" Shouts of Lady Xena, but no words.

"What's that sound? Is that a human? Or is it an animal? Or maybe a ghost?" Shake Lady Xena with trembling body.

Lady Xena froze as she sensed that something was walking closer towards her. Both of his hands immediately clenched and were ready to hit anything that was approaching him. Lady Xena looked at the shadow of something, then stood up and turned around.

"Aarrgghhhh!! Be ill. This is so hard." The Sting of Lady Xena.

With a sassy, his hand felt the object in front of him that was wrapped in clothes.

"It's like a human chest. More precisely the chest of a man. Wow, that's a field." He muttered with a smile and his hands continued to palpate.

"Keep your filthy hands from my body!" The cold words of a man standing before Lady Xena.

Lady Xena immediately turned her face upwards and looked at the man's face. It was not that she was frightened, but Lady Xena's face grew even more radiant.

"Falsely handsome? What human are you angels?" Ask the amazed Lady Xena.

"I'm the devil who will take your life." Answer the cold man.

"Turn my life soon and take me away with you, handsome devil." Shake Lady Xena with a smile.

"Based on a crazy woman!" Said the man while pushing Lady Xena's body away from him.

Lady Xena's body was limp and almost fell to the ground, yet there was a pair of hands supporting her from behind.

"Are you okay, Miss?" Ask the man who helped her.

"I-I'm fine, sir. Thank you." Thank you." Answer Lady Xena.

"Why are you being so rude to a woman, Azel?" Ask the man who helped Lady Xena, who was none other than Marquess Andry.

"Because he's been tinkering with my body." General Azel replied.

"Isn't this Miss the cousin of King Abraham who just came from the Sun Kingdom?" Marquess Andry asked.

Lady Xena just nodded.

"Talk to me, Marquess Andry and this is my friend General Azel, the great general of the Kingdom of Cardania." Marquess Andry said.

"My name is Xena."

"How did Miss get into the Perverted labyrinth on this dark night? That's very dangerous. This labyrinth has many traps that can keep people trapped in it." Marquess Andry asked.

"I-I don't know. I was running without direction, and suddenly I was already inside this labyrinth." Answer Lady Xena.

General Azel threw his breath out harshly.

"We'd better get out of here, before the night gets darker and the air gets colder."

"Let's go, Miss, we'll get you out of here." Marquess Andry.

"Thank you Lord Marquess and Great General." Said Lady Xena.

Marquess Andry only replied with a smile, in contrast to General Azel who was being indifferent. Lady Xena grew increasingly cold and her body began to shiver. General Azel took off his fur coat and gave it to Marquess Andry.

"Andry, give this to the woman. I don't want to get out of here with frozen humans." Ketus General Azel.

Marquess Andry took the feather mentel and put it on Lady Xena's body.

"Thank you, sir." Said Lady Xena.

"Together, Miss. Don't put into the heart of General Azel's words. From the outside he was cold and scary, but he was actually kind-hearted." Marquess Andry said.

"Don't say much. Let's go fast." Shouted General Azel.

Along the way, Lady Xena continued to stare and observe General Azel from behind. Lady Xena continued to smell the fragrant aroma from General Azel's coat with a smile.

"You must learn to be gentle with a woman, Azel. If you act cold and scary like this, no woman will marry you." Oceh Marquess Andry's.

"Curtain! The woman was just troublesome. They are spoiled and too weak. Only a woman like Queen Roseline is worth being proud of. And His Majesty King Alec is very lucky to get it." Sahut General Azel.

"Isn't Miss Arabella similar to Queen Roseline, both physically and her attitude?" The Marquess Andry.

"Yes, you're right. But I don't want to compete with a friend who's like my own brother, Marquess Filan." Answer General Azel.

"Ah yes. I forgot to. The frozen man, though cold and thin, looked as if he were watching Miss Arabella." The Marquess Andry.

Lady Xena just kept quiet and listened to the conversation of the two men.

"So, this handsome General Azel is unmarried and has a wife. I would now be willing if King Alec was with Queen Roseline, because my heart had changed course. I won't chase and expect another man's husband, but I will pursue the General's love of my heart." Inner Lady Xena with a happy smile.
