Chapter 73. Seeing you Happy
Duke Ramon, Felix and Dean had been circling the forest for several hours, yet they had yet to obtain a single forest rabbit. The three sat under a large tree to rest.
"Why aren't there any rabbits in this forest? We can't go home empty-handed. Alice must be disappointed." Groused Duke Ramon.
"It looks like a predatory animal that has hunted a herd of rabbits in this forest, sir." Felix said while showing the footprints of a fairly large animal.
"These are tiger footprints. And not just one tiger, but a pair of tigers." Dean Said.
"We need to be more vigilant, sir. Because this animal can attack at any time." Felix.
Kreeks... Kreeks....
Suddenly there was a dry rating sound being stepped on. The three of them instantly took out a sword while circulating their gazes in all directions.
Kreek ...
"The sound came from behind that big tree." Said Duke Ramon while whispering while pointing at a large tree not far from their place.
The tension was clearly visible on their faces. Felix stepped slowly closer towards the big tree. The voice sounded louder. Felix instantly swung his sword as something behind the huge tree appeared.
Prang...! (The sound of the two swords being clashed)
"Baginda!" Felix was surprised.
King Alec came with Marquess Filan.
"Your swordsmanship is pretty good, Felix." Praise King Alec with a faint smile.
"What is your son doing in this place?" Ask Duke Ramon.
"Marquess Filan."
Marquess Filan immediately advanced with a small sack and handed it to Duke Ramon.
"In the sack was a forest rabbit. I know you guys haven't gotten any game animals at all, have you? Take it home and give it to Alice." Obviously King Alec.
"But Alice will not accept this game because Her Majesty caught it." Duke Ramon protest.
"You don't have to tell the truth, Duke. What matters is what Alice wants is fulfilled." Answer King Alec.
Duke Ramon was silent.
"Wait a minute, quickly bring this rabbit home. If until my twins continue to wander, you'll have to take responsibility." King Alec's jerk made Duke Ramon flinch.
Duke Ramon clenched his hands with his jaw hardened. "Luckily he is a king, otherwise I would have sewn his annoying mouth."
"Don't grumble in the heart of brother-in-law, you will soon grow old and find it difficult to be a mate." King Alec's Eject.
"Isn't Duke Ramon's soul mate in sight, Sire?" Respond Marquess Filan while chuckling.
"You're right Filan. I forgot that Viviane had fallen for him. Wait let alone Duke, but still there will, move. I'm ready to make you a wedding party." King Alec's.
Duke Ramon's face turned red with annoyance. "It is better that you focus on your own personal affairs. And don't interfere in the personal affairs of the servant."
"Felix! Dean! Let's go home." Further.
Duke Ramon left King Alec and Marquess Filan just like that while snorting in annoyance. While King Alec and the Marquess could not help but laugh at them.
"Geez!" Lirih King Alec.
Marquess Filan immediately stopped his laughter. "Sheel."
"We'd better go home, Filan. We're passing through a shortcut we used before. I don't want Alice to suspect anything."
Marquess Filan nodded. The two immediately exited the forest using a different path from the one passed by Duke Ramon's entourage.
Queen Roseline (Alice) enjoys rabbit satay with her heart. His face was glowing as he chewed on the soft rabbit meat. King Alec smiled happily at her, although he could only look at her from a distance. King Alec does not want to spoil the appetite of Queen Roseline because of her existence.
"It looks like the hunted rabbit of His Majesty has been very well received." Said Marquess Filan standing beside King Alec.
King Alec nodded with an ever-expanding smile. "Do you know Filan? My heart is so happy to see him happy like this. My heart also felt sad when I saw him hurt. Maybe that's what I call real love. I want to see Alice continue to be happy, even without me around her."
"What does His Majesty mean? Is your Majesty going to surrender now?" Ask Marquess Filan.
"I'll never give up on getting her love, Filan. But I also will not force my will on him anymore. He's free to live life according to his wishes, as long as he's happy." Answer King Alec.
Marquess Filan smiled blandly. The fate of his love is also not much different from King Alec.
"It is better for your Majesty to return to the room and rest now." The Marquess Filan.
King Alec shook his head. "I still want to see her smile, Filan. General Azel's men had come and were about to give a report. You better go see him."
"Okay, Sire."
Marquess Filan left King Alec to meet General Azel's men waiting on the porch.
"Sincerely servant, Marquess."
Marquess Filan simply nodded.
"Is there a problem at the border?" Ask Marquess Filan.
"No Sir. The border is safe and under control. I came here to deliver a message from General Azel. The general has prepared the place that the Marquess will occupy later as well as what things the Marquess will handle during the lead of the border area." His report.
"Tell General Azel, I will go to the border after His Majesty returns to the palace." Marquess Filan.
"Good, Sir."
General Azel's men immediately withdrew from the presence of Marquess Filan. Marquess Filan walked towards her camp. On the way, he meets Arabella. Marquess Filan stopped and lowered his head slowly, then continued his steps again.
Marquess Filan stopped and turned around. "What's wrong Miss?"
Arabella was surprised to see the change in attitude of Marquess Filan who returned cold as before.
"I wonder, is it true that you will be transferred to the border area?" Ask.
Marquess Filan scrunched her forehead, then took a deep breath. "Is that important to you, Miss?"
Arabella.
"Yes, that's right. Miss can rest easy now because I won't interfere with Miss's life anymore." Marquess Filan.
"Why did you do it?" Demand Arabella.
"I want to see the people I love living happily." Marquess Filan replied while forcing her smile.
Arabella shed her tears. "If you love me, then why do you want to leave me?"
"Because I don't want to see you suffer because of my presence around you."
Arabella could not contain her anger anymore.
"Basic fool. I am angry and upset with you. But that doesn't mean I can live far from you. These few days my life feels empty from being away from you." Said Arabella while hitting Marquess Filan's chest.
Marquess Filan held Arabella's hand and pulled her into her arms.
"You're really mean, Filan. Why are you playing with my feelings like this?" Arabella while sobbing.
"I'm sorry. I don't want to keep getting you upset. I love you so much, Arabella." Answer Marquess Filan.
Marquess Filan untangled their embrace and gently wiped away Arabella's tears. Marquess Filan pulled Arabella's chin and kissed um her lips gently. But the softness only lasts a while because then the soft man turns into lum or lum-lum or demanding each other.

Queen Roseline sat casually in her room while smiling complacently after spending dozens of her rabbit skewers. Marie came to bring me some warm orange juice.
"Thank you, Marie." Queen Roseline.
"Together, Miss." Marie Sahut.

"What's Marie?" Ask Queen Roseline.
"That's Miss, Your Majesty is still standing and standing guard at the door." Answer Marie.

Marie shook her head. "Miss Alice wants Her Majesty to leave here and return to Her Majesty's room."
"Tell Alice, I won't bother her. I just wanted to make sure she was okay. And I promise you, I'll go after making sure she sleeps well." King Alec.
The door of the room opened and Queen Roseline came out with her angry face.
"Didn't you hear what Marie said? I want your Majesty to leave here. His presence here will only annoy me. I don't want Your Majesty to be near my private space." Jerk Queen Roseline.
King Alec widened his eyes. The impact of Queen Roseline also shocked Marquess Filan and Arabella who walked towards them.
"I'm sorry Alice. I'll go as you wish. You can go back to your room and rest." Said King Alec softly.
King Alec departs from the presence of Queen Roseline. Just a few steps away, King Alec's body fell drooping on the floor.
"Baginda!" Shouted Marquess Filan while running towards King Alec.
