Chapter 7. Risoles Charm

After enjoying her milk bath and changing clothes, Queen Roseline immediately headed for the kitchen. Queen Roseline (Alice) wants to make risoles filling carrots, bacon, boiled eggs, tomato sauce and mayonnaise. Previously Queen Roseline had made her own tomato and mayonnaise sauce. The servants were already used to the existence of Queen Roseline in the kitchen. They even feel happy, because Queen Roseline always makes new dishes. Although foreign to them, but the taste always feels delicious on the tongue.

After her homemade risoles matured, Queen Roseline split them up and placed them into several dishes. Queen Roseline placed a plate containing some risoles onto the tray and closed it.

"Marie, deliver this dish to Her Majesty the Queen Mother. Go with Dean." Queen Roseline's orders.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Answer Marie.

Marie immediately carried the tray and went to the palace of the Queen Mother, accompanied by Dean, one of Felix's shadow soldiers.

It didn't take long for Marie and Dean to arrive at the Queen Mother's palace.

"Please tell His Majesty, if the Queen sends him food." Marie.

The mother's maid immediately entered the Queen Mother's room to report.

"Excuse Your Majesty, the Queen's servant has come to bring a meal for Her Majesty" the Queen Mother's maid Helene reported.

The face of the Queen Mother immediately sumringah.

"Send him in right away." The Queen Mother Helene.

Marie came in and saluted.

"Sincerely, Your Majesty the Queen Mother." Marie.

"Come here." The Queen Mother Helene.

Marie immediately walked over and placed the tray she carried onto the Queen Mother's table.

"From the aroma alone is very tempting. The queen makes dishes especially now?" Ask Queen Mother Helene.

"The Queen's Majesty said the name of this dish was risoles. Inside it contains pieces of bacon, carrots, boiled eggs, tomato sauce and mayonnaise, a slightly thick and white liquid. Everything was made by Her Majesty Queen Roseline." Answer Marie.

"alright. Give my thanks to Queen Roseline." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

Marie immediately bowed her respects, then walked out of Empress Dowager Helene's room. While outside the room, Marie crosses paths with King Alec and Marquess Filan.

"Sincerely servant, Your Majesty the King." Said Marie while looking down.

Dean did the same.

"Did you guys just come out of the Queen Mother's room?" Ask King Alec.

"Yes Your Majesty. The Queen asked the servant to deliver food for Her Majesty the Queen Mother." Answer Marie.

"Well, you can go back to the Queen's palace." King Alec.

"All right, Your Majesty. I beg you to resign." Marie's speech was polite.

Marie and Dean immediately rushed out of the Queen Mother's palace and returned to the Queen's palace. King Alec immediately sped up his pace and entered into his mother's room.

"Greetings, Mother." King Alec.

"Sincerely, Your Majesty the Queen Mother." Marquess Filan.

"My son and Marquess Filan" Sapa Suri Helene.

"Come here and sit here with me." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

King Alec and Marquess Filan immediately sat down. Their eyes were fixed on the food on the plate.

"I was meeting with the Queen's maid, and she said that she was delivering the Queen's food to Mother. Is this the food? It's a weird shape." King Alec.

Empress Dowager Helene chuckled at the facial expressions of King Alec and Marquess Filan.

"Don't underestimate the look of it. The food made by the Queen is indeed different from the food we usually eat in this palace. But it's guaranteed deliciousness." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

Suri Helene's mother took one risoles and bit her a little and chewed on it. The Queen Mother instantly widened her eyes. Then, the Queen Mother immediately devoured the rest. King Alec and Marquess Filan gulped their saliva violently upon seeing the expression of the Empress Dowager who was greatly enjoying the meal.

King Alec and Marquess Filan took one risoles each. King Alec immediately bit the risoles and chewed on them. His eyes immediately widened as he sensed the various flavors present in his mouth. "Hows it? Delicious right?" Suri Helene asked with a smile.

King Alec and Marquess Filan nodded compactly and immediately spent the rest of the risoles in their hands.

"What's the name of this food, Mom? This time I had a meal like this. It feels really amazing. In one bite I felt bacon, eggs, carrots with sour, sweet and salty taste mixed into one." King Alec's words were gobsmacked.

"That's right, Your Majesty. There is not a single cook in the kingdom of Cardania and any kingdom that I have ever explored who made this delicious meal." The Marquess Filan.

Suri Helene's mother laughed softly.

"If it is not wrong the Queen's servant said the name of this food is ri.ri." Said the Queen Mother while trying to remember the name of the food.

"It's pieces of bacon, boiled eggs and carrots. The red liquid is called sausage made from tomatoes. Mother has eaten several times made by the Queen who was given this sauce. And a white liquid called mayo.... I forgot her name. All the queens themselves made it." Obviously Queen Mother Helene.

"Since when can the Queen cook? All this time he was just busy polishing himself." King Alec said in disbelief.

"Actually the Queen has many talents and advantages that you do not know, my Son. You've been ignoring her existence all along." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

King Alec was silent. For your umpteenth, her mother's words touched her little heart.

"Have not daydreamed. Eat the risoles again. I won't be able to eat it all. It's too much." Suri Helene's Mother.

"My stomach is full, Mother." King Alec.

"Of course it's full, you eat it the most." Suri Helene's Mother said with a chuckle.

King Alec pursed his lips.

"Did the Queen send food to Mom often?" Ask King Alec.

"Not often anymore. Every day the Queen makes food, sometimes snacks for Mom." The Queen Mother Helene.

King Alec just nodded his head slowly.

"What made you come here to see Mom? Is there anything you want to say, my son?" Ask Queen Mother Helene.

King Alec flinched.

"Actually, I would like to ask Mother to forbid the Queen from entering the palace at will. What will the nobles say?" Answer King Alec.

"Why do you care what they say? And since when do you care what the Queen does? Didn't you set her free to do whatever the Queen wanted and wouldn't interfere in her affairs, including getting out of the palace." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

"I know Mom. But did you know that the Queen is learning martial arts and playing sword outside the palace?" Ask King Alec.

"Of course I know. And Mother was very supportive of him, so that the Queen could take good care of herself. Danger will always love him who when occupying the position of Queen in this kingdom. And my Son will not always be by his side to protect and preserve the safety of his life." The Queen Mother Helene.

"Mother's right. But..." The King of Alec's Protest.

While in the palace dining room, Countess Sarah was already sitting sweetly while waiting for the arrival of King Alec. Countess Sarah wants to eat with the King. The waiters came and served dinner.

"Your Majesty the King doesn't have dinner here, Countess. Her Majesty ate with the Queen Mother at the Queen Mother's palace." A servant's hand.

Countess Sarah was shocked.

"Please, Miss." Said the maid, then left Countess Sarah with Nara standing behind her chair.

Countess Sarah's appetites instantly disappeared, as King Alec was absent.

"Nara, order a servant to find out what happened in the Queen Mother's palace and why Her Majesty the King could eat there." Countess Sarah's orders.

"Good, Miss." Answer Nara.

Countess Sarah immediately stood up from her chair and was about to step her foot into the King's palace. But he paused because he remembered the King's previous words. Countess Sarah did not want to make the King angry, she returned to the guest pavilion with a disappointed and upset heart.

"Marie's. Has Her Majesty received my risoles?" Queen Roseline asked when she saw Marie was back with Dean.

"It is His Majesty. Her Majesty the Queen Mother looks very happy and says thank you to you. And the servant also met His Majesty the King who wanted to visit the Queen Mother." Answer Marie.

"It turns out to be true my guess. The king will definitely meet the Queen Mother. The man will definitely protest and ask the Queen Mother to ban me from the palace again. Marie immediately took the risoles for herself, then distributed them to the others. And Queen Roseline immediately returned to her room.

Inside the King's palace, King Alec kept rolling on his bed and tried to close his eyes but failed. King Alec continues to glare at the delicacy of risoles made by the Queen.

"How can I continue to imagine the taste of the food the Queen made earlier? Did the Queen give witchcraft into that food?" Mumbled King Alec.

King Alec snorted in annoyance.

"Am I crazy? That food called risoles has fascinated me."

King Alec immediately got up and got out of his bed. King Alec took the wine stored in a glass cabinet in his room. King Alec sipped a few glasses to remove the shadow of those delicious risoles. When the King began to feel drunk, the King immediately went back up to the bed.
