Chapter 89. Back To The Real Life

"Alice..."

Alice gasped when she heard her name being called. But he could see nothing in the darkness.

"Alice!" The call was repeated again.

"Acc. You're that?" Alice asked with her hand trying to feel the things around her. But only empty air could be reached by his hands.

"Alice baby, come back. Your place isn't here." There was clearly the voice of King Alec from behind him.

Alice immediately turned her body and saw King Alec's glowing body smiling at her.

"Alec!"

Alice ran into King Alec's arms. But the bodies of both cannot touch. Alice pierces the body of King Alec. Alice tried to touch King Alec's body back, and still could not.

"Why can't I touch you? I miss you, Alec." Alice said with tears in her eyes.

"We're already in a different world, Alice. Go back to your world." Answer King Alec.

Alice shakes.

"Everyone who loves you expects you back, baby." Add King Alec gently.

"I want to be with you and our three children, Alec. I can't live without you. Please bring me back into your world." Please Alice.

King Alec's face changed. He raised his right hand and touched Alice's face, even though the skin of the two did not really touch.

"You remember my promise, don't you? No matter where you are in the world, I will find you. After we meet later, I will never let you go again. Now go back to the world where you were supposed to be and wait for my arrival. I love you, Alice." King Alec.

The form of King Alec slowly disappeared along with a bright light that seemed to attract Alice's body. Alice opened her eyes slowly. His head feels heavy.

"Alice. Thank goodness you opened your eyes again, baby."

Alice looked towards the source of the voice.

"W-grandpa?" He looked at the man about 70 years old.

He was Mr. Abraham Quinn, Alice's grandfather. Mekipun his face was filled with many wrinkles, but not the slightest hint of pure good looks he had. One of the best genes he passed down to Alice. The medical team immediately checked Alice's condition. The doctor said Alice's condition had improved by now.

"Grandfather. Why is grandpa crying?" Alice asked quietly as she was alone with her grandfather.

Abraham took Alice's hand and kissed her. "Grandfather is so afraid of losing you Grandpa's favorite granddaughter, Alice."

Alice looked confused. "Where am I now, Cake?"

"You're in the Quinn family's hospital right now." Answer Mr. Abraham.

"What happened to me?" Alice held her still dizzy head.

"The maids found you unconscious in your parents' mansion, more precisely in the private rooms of your late Daddy and Mommy. Lucky they brought you here. Otherwise grandfather doesn't know what's going to happen to you, Alice." The light of Lord Abraham with a sob.

"Grandfather is sorry if all this time grandfather was too hard in educating you and grandfather has also given too much responsibility to you, My granddaughter. Grandpa should be more attentive to you and spend more time with you."

"Grandfather is really sorry, Alice. Grandpa promised to fix everything. So please don't try to end your life again."

The tears of Mr. Abraham grew.

"Killed yourself?" Alice widened her eyes.

"What do you mean, Grandpa? I-I didn't kill myself, Mother."

"If you don't intend to end your life, why did you take a sip of a sleeping pill that put you in a coma for four days?"

Alice tried to twist her memory. Alice remembers she tried to sleep, but failed. Finally he took out three grains of sleeping pills, hoping that he could go to sleep soon and return to the world of novels. Unfortunately, reality did not go as expected.

"That means I can't go back to the world of novels anymore. I can't see my husband, Alec, and my three children, Cello, Celine and Leon."

Alice shed tears. His heart hurts. He felt a great longing.

"Why are you crying, son? Is anyone sick?" Ask Mr. Abraham to throw off Alice's daydream.

"There's a cake, my heart hurts a lot."

"I'm fine, Cake. I actually had no intention of killing myself. I just want to rest for a while. These few days there's a lot of work that's draining my mind and energy."

"And Alice is grateful God still gives me a chance to live, Cake." Alice replied while forcing her smile.

"Grandfather feels very guilty." Lirih Mr. Abraham.

"Grandfather can't talk like that. Grandpa is the best grandfather in the world. The best grandfather Alice had. Alice loves you, Cake." Alice Sahut.

"Grandfather loved me too, Alice." Said Mr. Abraham while gently kissing his grandson's forehead.

After undergoing treatment for one week in the hospital, Alice finally returned to health as usual. He had also returned to his parents' mansion. Mr. Abraham decided to stay in the mansion. He wanted to spend more time with his grandson.

"Where are you going, Alice? You just got well." Greet Mr. Abraham as Alice prepares and leaves for the office.

"Alice wants to get back to work, Cake. Alice's been on leave too long. For almost a month, Alice left the responsibility in the company. Bella and Jacob must have been very defeated because they had to handle all of Alice's work." Answer Alice.

"You can't go." Said Mr. Abraham.

"But, Cake?"

Alice dropped her body on the sofa with pursed lips.

"Alice bored, Cake. Alice wants to move." His grunts with an annoyed face.

Mr. Abraham chuckled at the annoyed face of his grandson that looked adorable to him.

"Grandfather knows. Therefore, Grandpa wants you to take a vacation Alice. You can go anywhere you want and have fun. Keep your mind out of company business." Said Mr. Abraham.

"No Cake. Alice prefers to spend time in the company and complete all the work she is responsible for, Alice. " Remove Alice.

Mr. Abraham smiled. "You really inherited your Daddy's nature, Alejandro. You two are both hard workers."

Alice smiled gently.

"It." Mr. Abraham handed me an envelope containing the invitation.

Alice immediately opened the envelope and opened it.

"The wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. Suarez and his wife in Budapest. Grandpa wants me to go to Hungary?" Alice asked in disbelief.

Mr. Abraham nodded. "Grandfather wants you to go over there representing the Quinn family to give them congratulations and gifts. Besides, Grandpa wants you to get a big cooperation contract between our company and Mr. Suarez's company. And of course it's not easy, because there will be a lot of big companies from various countries that will compete to be able to work with Suarez Corps."

"So grandfather wants to give me a challenge?" Alice scrunched her forehead.

"You can say that." Answer Mr. Abraham.

"Alright, the challenge was accepted my dear grandfather. But I have conditions." Said Alice.

"Well, grandpa knows. You won't be able to get away from your two beloved assistants. Jacob and Bella will go with you." Mr. Abraham's.

Alice jumped in excitement. He hugged Mr. Abraham. "Thank you, Grandpa."

Mr. Abraham smiled happily. Finally she could see a happy smile on her grandson's face. Because, since Alice woke up from her coma she often looks moody. Several times, Mr. Abraham caught Alice crying alone in his room. He had no idea what was really going on with his granddaughter. Mr. Abraham interrogates Bella and Jacob to find out Alice's personal life all along.

The Quinn private jet landed perfectly at Budapest Ferigehy International Airport in Budapest, Hungary.

"We're finally here too, miss." Bella said with a big smile as she got off the plane.

"Chew, Budapest. I hope this place will bring me good luck." Alice said while wearing her sunglasses.

"Miss, the driver sent by Mr. Suarez is waiting for us in front of the airport." Report Jacob after hanging up the phone from Mr. Suarez's men.

Alice just nodded. They immediately rushed towards the exit. Alice accidentally collided with someone.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Alice said without looking towards the person who collided with her and continued her footsteps.

"Is that how you apologize, miss?" There was a man screaming from behind Alice who was upset.

Alice and her two assistants stopped. Alice let out a rough breath. He turned around and slightly lowered his head without staring at the man in the slightest.

"I apologize once again. I was not intentional and I am in a hurry right now. Excuse me."

Alice turned her body back and stepped both legs without waiting for an answer from the man.

"Sad. So arrogant." Mumbled the man.

"Are you okay, Mister?" Ask the assistant.

The man simply nodded without answering a word. He and his assistant also left the airport immediately.

"Sorry Mr Sean, will we stay at the hotel Mr Suarez has provided?" Ask the man's assistant when they are in the car.

"Should I answer that silly question of yours, Bill?" The man said with a cold face to his assistant, Bill.

Bill forced his smile. "Of course not, sir. We'll stay in the penthouse you just bought an hour ago, located in downtown Budapest."
