"I beg you to believe me, Alice. I'm telling the truth. I didn't mean to lie to you, but I was forced to do this charade with Viviane." Said King Alec with a pleading face.

Queen Roseline (Alice) pulls one end of her lips. "Why don't you just marry him. Isn't Princess Viviane very pretty and smart. Besides, you look so familiar, calling each other names without titles."

"You misunderstood, Alice. I called her name without the title, because Viviane was the daughter of my late mother's best friend, Queen Eklesia. And that was also Viviane's own wish. "You don't need to worry, Sire. Even if we don't live together, you'll always be the father of my children."

"No Alice. Don't say it like that. I can't lose you guys. I beg you." King Alec immediately knelt before Queen Roseline.

"Enough, Sire! Don't test my patience again."

"Aarghhh!" Queen Roseline felt pain in her stomach.

"Alice, what's wrong with you?" King Alec was in a panic.

"Marie!"

Marie who heard King Alec's screams immediately entered and was shocked to see the agonizing Queen Roseline holding her stomach.

"Miss."

"My stomach hurts, Marie." The Queen of Roseline.

"Wait a minute, I'll call Mr. Ronaf."

Queen Roseline immediately pulled Marie's hand. "Don't leave me. Please stay here, Marie."

Marie was confused.

"You stay here and accompany Alice. I'll call Mr. Ronaf. Please take good care of Alice." King Alec.

"Okay, Sire."

Shortly after, Mr. Ronaf came with King Alec and immediately checked on Queen Roseline.

"How are Alice and our two babies, Mr Ronaf?" Ask King Alec.

Mr. Ronaf took a slow breath. "Alice had cramps in her stomach. This is common in pregnant women. However, pregnant women still have to be maintained the health of the body and mental. But if you often have stomach cramps and get worse, it is also not good because it can cause miscarriage." Bright Mr. Ronaf.

"But my two babies are fine, aren't they, sir?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"We should be grateful, both of your babies are in good shape right now." Mr. Ronaf said, To the relief of King Alec and Queen Roseline.

When he finished, Mr. Ronaf left Queen Roseline's room.

"You are what Mr. Ronaf said. You have to take care of your health. You'd better eat it now, to get your body back strong." Said King Alec softly.

King Alec took out a bowl of porridge and had replaced the spoon that had fallen. King Alec is about to feed Queen Roseline.

"I want Marie to feed me. You get out of my room." Ketus Queen Roseline.

King Alec relented and did not want to make Queen Roseline even more angry and annoyed at him. King Alec immediately walked out of the room and stood in front of the door.

"Marie, close the door." Queen Roseline's orders.

Marie complied and immediately closed the door of the room right in front of King Alec. King Alec let out a long breath. His heart was deeply saddened by the rejection the Queen gave him for his own actions. Unknowingly, King Alec shed tears.

"Sheel." Call Duke Sullivan.

King Alec immediately wiped away his tears. "Duke Sullivan."

"Do you have time for us to talk?" Ask Duke Sullivan.

"of course. Can we have a conversation while we take a walk, Duke."

Duke Sullivan nodded. "Please, Sire."

"Ronaf told me what Alice had just experienced." Duke Sullivan opened a chat between them.

"I'm sorry, Duke. I didn't mean to make Alice have any cramps in her stomach." King Alec.

"Why is your Majesty still looking for Alice? Doesn't your Majesty have a new wife?" Ask Duke Sullivan.

"That's not true, Duke. Viviane and I never married. It's just a charade."

While in the back garden, Duke Ramon was venting his guilt and anger by playing with a sword. No plant escaped from the slash of his sword. Duke Ramon heard the sound of footsteps behind him. Duke Ramon immediately regained his arms and drew his sword and was right beside the man's neck.

"You! What are you doing here?" Duke Ramon snapped with an increasingly irritated face as the person before him right now was Princess Viviane.

"I-I'm on a walk." Said Viviane while forcing her smile to cover up her nervousness.

Wrong move a little, Princess Viviane's smooth neck will be hit by Duke Ramon's sword scratches. Duke Ramon immediately pulled his sword back.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in the room with His Majesty to enjoy your bridal night?" Ask Duke Ramon.

Princess Viviane laughed softly.

"Why are you laughing?" Furious Duke Ramon.

"How can I enjoy the wedding night, if my bride is not there." Princess Viviane.

"Oh, Your Majesty left you on the night of your bride. It's so sad." Duke Ramon Ejek.

Princess Viviane let out a long sigh. "King Alec is not with me, for he is not my husband nor am I his wife."

"What do you mean?"

"All right, let me explain and affirm to you, Duke Ramon. Please listen carefully. King Alec and I never married. There was never a marriage between us. The marriage we created was just a charade." Said Princess Viviane loudly.

Duke Ramon widened his eyes.

"What is your real purpose?" The Duke Ramon.

"We purposely worked together to create this charade to achieve our respective goals. King Alec did it to free Queen Cetta who had been kidnapped by my father, King Henry. As for me, with the help of King Alec I was finally able to avenge my mother's death and restore her good name back." Princess Viviane replied.

"Are you satisfied with my answer Duke Ramon?" Princess Viviane flashed her sweet smile before Duke Ramon.

"Don't smile like that in front of me."

"Why indeed? I'm beautiful, and a lot of people say that my smile is so sweet and makes my aura of beauty grow louder." Princess Viviane said confidently.

"You're just smiling at the other guys out there. Your smile makes me uncomfortable." Annoyed Duke Ramon.

"How could you say such a painful thing, Duke Ramon." Said Princess Viviane while grunting in annoyance.

"You should be thanking me for not actually marrying King Alec. So that your sister, Queen Roseline won't experience any prolonged grief in her lifetime."

"So you're expecting a thank you from me? It's only in your dreams." Duke Ramon's.

"Curtain, why are your words so spicy, Mr. Duke. Good thing you're handsome, so I forgive you." Said Princess Viviane casually.

"I wouldn't apologize to a woman like you." Duke Ramon looked at Princess Viviane with a condescending look.

"Why do you hate me, Master Duke? You can't do it."

"Why not?" Ask Duke Ramon.

"You can't hate me, but otherwise. You should have liked me." Princess Viviane said with a glowing face.

"Because you're my dream husband's candidate."
