Chapter 67. It hurts so much

"Where is she going?" Marie asked as she watched Queen Roseline walk out of her room.

"I'm going to the guest pavilion. I must hand this Queen's plaque to Princess Viviane. Soon, Princess Viviane will be crowned Queen of the Kingdom of Cardania." Answer Queen Roseline.

"Let me accompany you, Miss." Marie.

Queen Roseline nodded. Both of them went to the guest pavilion.

"Is Princess Viviane in her room?" Queen Roseline asked a servant.

"Well, Your Majesty." The waiter answered nervously.

Queen Roseline immediately stepped foot into Princess Viviane's room.

"Arrrghhh!!! It hurts! Slow down." I heard screaming from inside the room.

"Hold a minute, Vi. The pain will also go away." King Alec's.

"Aargh!! Shhhh!"

Queen Roseline froze in place, while Marie rounded her eyes. "We'd better get back, Marie."

Queen Roseline and Marie immediately turned around and walked away.

"Queen." Call Marquess Filan.

Queen Roseline stopped her steps.

"What is the Queen doing here?" Marquess Filan asked nervously.

"I want to hand this Queen's plaque to Princess Viviane. But I seem to have come at an inopportune time. So please hand over this plaque to His Majesty and Princess Viviane, tomorrow."

Queen Roseline handed the plaque to Marquess Filan.

"Why wait for tomorrow, Queen. The Queen can see His Majesty right now."

Marquess Filan walked towards Princess Viviane's room and was about to knock on the door. But the absurd voice that flowed loudly made Marquess Filan undo his intentions.

"I told you, leave it tomorrow. Because they're busy right now." Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline and Marie immediately left Marquess Filan who was still idle.

"Miss."

Queen Roseline looked at Marie. The two had already returned to Queen Roseline's room.

"I'm fine, Marie. You don't have to worry." Queen Roseline said with a smile.

"Hamba will get you some warm pumpkin porridge for Miss. Miss's stomach must have been empty after she threw up. Pity the twins if Miss goes hungry." Marie.

"Thank you, Marie."

Shortly thereafter, Marie returned with a bowl of pumpkin porridge. Queen Roseline was standing and looking out the window.

"Miss, eat this pumpkin porridge while it's warm." Marie.

"Let's put it on the table, Marie. I'll eat it soon. Go back to your room and leave me alone." Queen Roseline.

"Alright, Miss. But Miss should really eat it or I'll get mad later. I don't want Miss to get sick." Marie.

Queen Roseline just nodded. Marie came out of the room while closing the door. After Marie died, Queen Roseline could not hold back her tears anymore. Since then, he had been trying to suppress the pain in his heart.

"Why does this hurt so much? Knowing King Alec's relationship with Princess Viviane made my heart really hurt." Sluggishly.

"No. I cannot be a weak woman. I'm Alicia Alexandria Quinn. I'm a strong woman." Queen Roseline said to herself while wiping away her tears.

Suddenly a spoonful of porridge approached towards her lips making Queen Roseline flinch.

"I told Marie I'd eat it later. Why won't you listen to me?"

Queen Roseline turned her body upside down, and both of her eyeballs were perfectly rounded.

"B-waganda?"

It was not Marie who stood before the current Queen of Roseline, but King Alec. King Alec did not answer and advanced the spoon in his hand to the front of Queen Roseline's mouth. Queen Roseline violently denied King Alec's hand until the spoon fell and his porridge spilled on the floor.

"Why is your Majesty here? He should be in the bridal room with Princess Viviane and enjoying your bridal night. You may leave Princess Viviane after you have taken her chastity." Said Queen Roseline with her angry face.

King Alec chuckles to make Queen Roseline even more upset.

"Are you jealous?" King Alec asked in a mocking tone.

"Sad. Why am I jealous? I don't even care." Elak Queen Roseline.

"really? Just a moment ago you were sobbing." King Alec increasingly mocked making Queen Roseline's face reddened in anger.

Suddenly the door opened, and Marie came in.

"Miss, I brought you some medicine from Mr. Ronaf. Mr. Ronaf said this medicine will strengthen Miss's body as well as the twins." Cerocos Marie was unaware of King Alec's existence there.

"The twins?" The King of Alec.

Marie's body froze with wide eyes when she found out King Alec was in front of her.

"B-Baginda King." Her great-grandchild.

"Tell me what did you mean, Marie? And what kind of drugs did you bring? Then who do you call the twins?" King Alec's reading made Marie even more nervous and fearful.

"It's nothing, Sire. It's ordinary medicine. I was just not well, so Mr. Ronaf gave me this medicine so I could get well soon. That's all." Queen Roseline said King Alec would not ask further questions.

"Just put my medicine on the table, Marie and go back to your room."

"Baginda too, you better go back to Princess Viviane's room. Princess Viviane must be anxious because Her Majesty is not with her at this time." Get rid of Queen Roseline.

"Stop, Marie!"

Marie stopped her steps while gulping her salivations roughly, before facing towards King Alec.

"You haven't answered my question." King Alec said coldly.

"Didn't I explain earlier, I'm not feeling well so I have to take this medicine." Queen Roseline.

"I didn't ask you, Alice. I asked Marie."

"But..." The Queen of Roseline.

"Tell me the truth, Marie, or I'll send Alice to the dungeon." Threatening King Alec.

"Enough Sire. You've gone too far." Jerk Queen Roseline.

"Guards!" Shouted King Alec.

Marie fell to her knees. "Hamba please don't do that, Sire. Don't hurt Miss Alice."

"Then tell me the truth. I know you're hiding something from me." King Alec said.

Marie looked up at Queen Roseline. Queen Roseline shook her head to keep Marie from telling the truth.

"Little bit you lie to me, then I'll cut your head off and I'll make sure Alice's gonna be in jail."

Marie shook her head in tears as she looked at Queen Roseline.

"Hamba please don't do that, Sire. Actually, Miss Alice is pregnant. And according to Mr. Ronaf, Miss Alice is pregnant with twins." Marie lowered her head while crying.

Queen Roseline closed her eyes. King Alec will definitely not let go of her again.

"H-pregnant said you?"

"Yes, Sire."

"And there were two babies in his stomach. That means Alice is pregnant with my two future heirs." King Alec.

"Yes, Sire." Answer Marie.

King Alec looked at Queen Roseline in disbelief. Queen Roseline threw her face away.

"Come, Marie. Leave us both." King Alec.

"But, Sire."

"You don't have to worry, I won't punish you and won't put Alice in jail." King Alec's.

Marie immediately stood up and stepped away from the room. King Alec closed the door violently and locked it. King Alec approached Queen Roseline who was still speechless with her cold face.

"Why don't you tell me and keep it a secret from me, Alice? They are the children created from my seed. How dare you intend to hide them from me!" Demand King Alec.

Queen Roseline smiled cynically. "For what? Not important, is it? Soon you too have the offspring of Princess Viviane."

"Don't switch Alice's conversation. It has nothing to do with Viviane. It's about us, our son." Said King Alec while holding back the anger.

Queen Roseline tightened her jaw. "You better pretend not to know it, King Alec. I don't want Princess Viviane to know. He will definitely feel rivaled and it could endanger both of my children later."

"I make sure no one will harm them. I won't let anyone hurt you and our two children."

"That's impossible. You're married to Princess Viviane. And she will be Queen of the Kingdom of Cardania." Elak Queen Roseline.

"That's never gonna happen." King Alec's.

"Why not?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"Because I never married Princess Viviane." Answer King Alec.

"What do you mean?"

Queen Roseline doesn't understand. King Alec pulled Queen Roseline's body into his arms. The bodies of the two were so close that they could hear the sound of their heartbeats loud enough.

"I reiterate once again. I never married Princess Viviane, and never will."

King Alec scooped Queen Roseline's lips slightly open and sipped them greedily. Queen Roseline closed her eyes. His brain wanted him to push King Alec's body, yet his body did the opposite.
