Chapter 96. First Date

At the Parker family mansion, Sean walks in with a dead red face.

"Seans. You're back, baby."

A beautiful middle-aged woman smiled happily to see her beloved son come home. She is Mrs Imelda Parker, Sean's mother.

"Where's Daddy, Mom?" Sean asked after kissing his mother's cheek.

""Your Daddy's in his study." Answer Mrs Imelda.

Sean immediately took wide strides towards his father's work space, then opened the door of the room violently.

"Didn't you have any manners?" Snarl Sean's father, Mr. Samuel Parker.

"Why did Daddy block my account?" Sean asked in anger.

Samuel lifted his lips. "You ask why? Of course so you don't commit fatal stupidity."

"Daddy has no right to forbid anything I want to do!" Jerky Sean.

Braakk... (Samuel's master kicked the table)

Madam Imelda who heard the quarrel between the two immediately entered the room.

"Put down Sean's voice when you talk to your Daddy." Tegur Madam Imelda.

"You can talk about it well. Calm yourself my husband." She added while looking at her husband.

"How can I calm down? Your beloved son will spend £400,000,000 on a necklace worthless at the auction." Said Mr. Samuel.

Madam Imelda rounded her eyes.

"And worse still, Sean wanted to get that necklace at such a fantastic price for a woman." Added Mr. Samuel.

"What's wrong with all that? It is natural for a man to try to give something valuable to the woman he loves. Daddy himself always bought luxury items for Mommy." Saying no.

Master Samuel slapped Sean's face hard.

"My husband!" Shouted Madame Imelda.

"You should remember Sean. You already have a fiancee, Katherine. And soon you'll be married." Sir Samuel said in a thunderous voice.

Sean laughed blandly.

"I never thought Katherine was in my life, Dad. He is nothing more than a stranger to me. The engagement happened not because of my wishes, but the wishes of all of you who are nothing but your business cooperation agreement. I am free to make my own life choices. Not you guys." Firm Sean.

"Like it or not. Agree or not. You're still getting married to Katherine. Daddy's going to arrange for the wedding to speed up. And Daddy made sure the Quinn woman couldn't be a hindrance, because she'd never be accepted into Parker's family. Let's get that."

Samuel went out of his room. Sean kicked the chair in front of him hard.

"When do you want Mom? How long will Daddy manage my life like this? Do I not deserve to live happily? Do I not deserve to fall in love?"

Madam Imelda immediately hugged her son's body while crying.

"You deserve dear. But the match between you and Katherine's been going on since you were kids." Mrs Imelda said.

"Sean doesn't love her Mom. Sean loves another woman."

"We can't just cancel the engagement. This concerns the good relationship between two great families that have been established for a long time. Parker's family owes a debt of gratitude to Katherine's family." The Light of Madam Imelda.

"Why should I pay off that debt, Mom?" Lirih Sean's.

The two had been sitting inside the car that had moved away from the mansion.

"You really don't believe me if I'm not gonna do anything to you." Xander's words broke the silence that enveloped the two.

Xander just nodded with a smile. "You'd better put that gun and your knife in the bag. I don't want both dangerous things to hurt your beautiful legs."

Alice rounded her eyes. He did not expect that Xander would know the gun and knife he had hidden behind his long dress.

"Are you surprised why I found out?"

Alice stared hard.

"Being a mafia makes me very sensitive to anything around me. Even I can smell metal from all kinds of dangerous weapons." Bright Xander.

"Where are we going?" Alice asked to switch the conversation.

"Of course take you to a romantic dinner."

"Isn't this a rare rose? It is very difficult to get these types of flowers in a flower shop. Where'd you get it?" Alice asked curiously.

"Do you want to tell me about this red rose?" Xander had an interesting topic.

"Daughter rose, that's her name. This type of rose is mostly grown in Indonesia, one of the countries in Asia. This flower has a characteristic dark red color and goes into the double flower type because it has stamens and pistils in it. The smell of the flowers is also more fragrant than other types of roses." Alice brightly smiled as she knotted.

The rose is Alice's favorite flower, especially the red rose. Flowers that give the impression of graceful and bold. Beautiful but also dangerous because the rose has sharp thorns to protect itself. Reminds Alice of her life in the Kingdom of Cardania.

"What's the fate of my rose garden there?" Inner with a sad face.

"I've been beautiful since I was born." Alice said as she turned her face and chose to sweep her gaze out the car glass.

Xander held back his laughter. He knew Alice was embarrassed.

The limousine arrived at a famous restaurant in London. As usual Allen was in charge of opening the door for his boss and his date. Xander and Alice entered the 5-star restaurant, while Allen and his men stood guard at the door.

Alice scrunched her forehead because the restaurant was quiet without a single visitor, but usually the restaurant was always crowded with visitors even though the price of the food was very expensive.

"I deliberately rented this restaurant specifically for the two of us, Alice." Said Xander who answered the question that was in Alice's mind.

"Welcome Mr. Xander. Let me take you to your table." Say politely to the restaurant manager.

Xander and Alice followed the manager to a table. The manager of the restaurant pulled out a chair before Alice sat down. Xander looked irritatedly softly. The waiters immediately came and put down the various dishes that became the mainstay and excellence of the restaurant.

"Goodbye to your dinner, Mr. Xander and Miss Quinn." Said the restaurant manager.

"Thank you." Answer Xander coldly.

The manager of the restaurant immediately left Xander and Alice both.

"Do you like Alice?" Xander asked while looking at Alice who was enjoying the processed salmon on her plate.

"Well, the salmon is delicious and the seasoning fits just as well." Alice answered briefly.

A waiter came with a bottle of wine and poured it into a glass. As the waiter was about to pour the wine into his glass, Alice stopped him immediately.

"No, thank you. I don't drink wine. Can you get me a Lemonade?"

"Of course, Miss." Answer the waiter.

"Are you afraid of getting drunk and ....."

"Follow away your filthy thoughts. I'm not going to drink it because there's still a lot of important work to be done after this date." Alice's speech cuts off Xander's conversation.

"You are a hard worker. You deserve to be named the best young entrepreneur for five years in a row." Praise Xander.

Not much are the two talking about. After dinner, Xander escorts Alice back to her mansion.

"Thank you, Alice for her romantic dinner." Xander.

"Hm." Answer Alice.

"Tomorrow morning I'll pick you up." Xander.

"No. I have an important meeting tomorrow with my client. You don't want to change my schedule." Reject Alice furiously.

Xander chuckles. "I know if you're busy tomorrow. I just want to get you to Quinn Corps."

"no need. My two assistants are gonna pick me up and drop me off." Firm Alice.

"By that ruby necklace, please!"

Alice snorted in annoyance. "You want to threaten me?"

Xander shook his head. "There are only six days left. Hang in. After that, you can have a ruby necklace forever and I won't bother you anymore."

Alice remained silent.

"I'm just gonna take you to work anyway, not take you up on a soft bed." Add it with a seductive smile.

Alice's face was instantly red. Alice immediately got out of the car while being charged, making Xander unable to hold back his laughter.

"Go there!" Jerk Alice.

"See you tomorrow morning, my date. May you have a good dream tonight." Xander said with a faint smile before the car door closed and the luxury car left the mansion.

Alice entered the mansion and took an oath. While in his car, Xander continued to boast a happy smile that amazed Allen. Just this time Allen saw his boss smiling happily like that. Previously it was just the cold and sinister face that Xander always showed in front of others.
