Chapter 34. The charm of Queen Roseline

Queen Roseline continued to walk without direction. Along the way he continued to grumble because of King Alec's attitude which continued to embarrass him. Due to lack of focus while walking, Queen Roseline accidentally collides with a man. Queen Roseline's body instantly collapsed and almost fell backwards. But quickly the man caught him.

The eyes of both are glued to each other.

"Is Miss okay?" Ask the man in his soft voice.

Queen Roseline was stunned to see the handsome face and gentle voice of the man. The same thing was felt by the man, he was enchanted by the beauty of Queen Roseline.

"Rose!" Call Marie who made Queen Roseline flinch.

Queen Roseline immediately broke away from the man's embrace and instantly averted her gaze.

"I'm fine, Sir. I'm sorry, and thank you." Queen Roseline.

"No need to thank me. I'm glad to be able to help you, Miss Rose." Said the man with a smile.

Queen Roseline was shocked and looked at the man coldly. "Thank you again, sir."

Queen Roseline looked down as a sign of respect and left immediately with Marie.

"Hey, where are you going?" Shouted the man but Queen Roseline had already gone a long way.

"I haven't met him yet. I wish I could see him again. Just this time there was a woman who spoke coldly towards me." Mumbled the man.

The man saw a small rose-shaped brooch lying on the ground and immediately picked it up with a fluffy smile. The brooch belonged to the detached Queen Roseline when the two collided earlier.

"Baginda! Sire!" Shouted a man while running closer towards the handsome man.

Quickly the handsome man smothered her, then led her away from the crowd.

"Are you crazy, Jake? We're undercover now. Your stupidity can expose my disguise." Angry that handsome guy.

"Ha-servants apologize, Sire." Said the man named Jake who immediately got a sharp eye.

"I mean Sevilen. I'm sorry, I didn't intentionally. Why did you suddenly disappear and leave me in the tavern alone?" Jake asked a little.

"I'm bored, and just want to take a walk." Answer Seville.

"You're gonna tell me. Why are you so happy to have me having a heart attack?" cerca Jake's.

"That's it. Let's go back to the inn." Sevilen immediately stepped out and pulled Jake's hand.

Elsewhere, King Alec and Felix had already walked out of the tavern and were waiting near their horses.

"Why are you here? Didn't you say you wanted to drink at the tavern?" Queen Roseline asked as she walked over.

"Have you got what you were looking for?" Asked King Alec coldly.

"It." Answer Queen Roseline.

"We're back in the palace now." The King of Alec's.

Queen Roseline was shocked to see King Alec's change in attitude. As the two were on horseback and making their way back to the palace, King Alec's attitude remained cold.

"What's wrong with her? Why did his attitude suddenly turn cold?" Inner Queen Roseline.

By the time they arrived at the palace, Marquess Filan and Marquess Andry were already waiting and welcoming their arrival.

"Bring all those dresses to the queen's palace, including mine." The King of Alec's.

"Okay, Sire." Answer Marie.

"Rest, you must be tired." King Alec said softly, but his face was still cold.

King Alec immediately went with his two confidants. Queen Roseline immediately returned to the queen's palace with a slightly upset heart.

"Put all those clothes in my closet, Marie."

"Okay, Your Majesty."

Marie immediately put the King and Queen's clothes neatly in the closet.

"Your Majesty, dinner will be held in the palace's dining room tonight, to welcome the arrival of Baron Joseph." Report Marie.

"Will Countess Sarah be present?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"Hamba doesn't know, Your Majesty. Do I need a servant to find out?" Answer Marie.

"no need. Just get some warm bath for me. But first, get Felix." Said Queen Roseline.

"Okay, Your Majesty."

"Your Majesty is looking for a servant?" Ask Felix.

"Sit down." Queen Roseline's.

Felix immediately sat down in front of Queen Roseline.

"Tell me. Did something bad happen while I was gone?" Pinta Queen Roseline.

Felix let out a long sigh and told her what happened in the tavern earlier. Including the anger of King Alec when he heard Stevan vilifying the good name of Queen Roseline.

"What did His Majesty do?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"Baginda was very angry and almost lost control. However, the servant managed to hold him back so that our disguise would not be uncovered. Then He pulled a button of his shirt and touched it right on the lips of the man named Stevan. The man's lips instantly swollen and flushed." Felix was able to hold back his laughter considering the results of King Alec's flick.

After he finished reporting, Felix immediately exited Queen Roseline's room. Queen Roseline walks into her bathhouse and enjoys her soaking. She took a long time to calm down. Queen Roseline scratched her forehead. She remembers the story in the novel where the Countess Sarah's party will take center stage. All the kings of the neighboring kingdoms continued to praise the beauty of Countess Sarah.

And there was one king who fell in love with Countess Sarah. The king becomes King Alec's love rival to obtain Countess Sarah's love. And in the middle of the party King Alec asked Countess Sarah to be his second wife, regardless of the feelings of Queen Roseline. Queen Roseline was immediately angry and did not accept, but King Alec ignored her.

"But what happened before? What's going to happen at Baron Joseph's dinner?" Queen Roseline's Murmuring.

Queen Roseline flinched and opened her eyes. "I remember. Baron Joseph tried to seduce and approached Queen Roseline so that Her Majesty would hate her even more. Even King Alec accused Queen Roseline of having an affair and had a special relationship with Baron Joseph because he saw Queen Roseline walking alone with Baron Joseph."

Queen Roseline let out a long breath. "I need to be more vigilant."

After quite a long soak in her warm water pond, Queen Roseline immediately got up and put on her bathrobe. Upon returning to the room, Queen Roseline was unaware of King Alec's whereabouts and had been waiting for him while sitting on a chair.

King Alec widened his eyes looking at the appearance of Queen Roseline. Time and again King Alec gulped his saliva violently. Queen Roseline hummed a little and sang a strange song in King Alec's ear, but King Alec was happy to hear it.

Queen Roseline stood on her large mirror and was shocked to see King Alec standing behind her from the mirror reflection. King Alec hugged Queen Roseline from behind and placed his head on the Queen's shoulder.

"B-waganda?" Screeched Queen Roseline.

"Let it be like this, just for a second." Oghed King Alec while closing his eyes and inhaling the fresh scent of Queen Roseline's body that made him calm.

"What's the matter, Sire?" Lirih Queen Roseline.

King Alec opened his hazel eyes slowly and stared at the reflection of Queen Roseline in the mirror.

"From now on I won't let anyone humiliate you, Queen. I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you, Queen." King Alec.

"What if that person is His own Majesty? What will your Majesty do?" Queen Roseline asked with her sharp gaze.

"If I hurt you again, then stick your sword right in my heart." Answer King Alec.

Queen Roseline immediately turned around and looked at King Alec's two fixed eyes. There are no lies there. What King Alec said was sincere and pure from his heart. King Alec took off his robe, and put it on Queen Roseline's body.

"Why are you so careless? Next time be more careful. What if it wasn't me sitting in that chair, but another man?" King Alec said softly.

"Prepare. I'll wait for you outside."

King Alec stepped out of Queen Roseline's room. As powerful as he was, he endured the turmoil that rose within him. King Alec does not want to lose control so it is fatal to make Queen Roseline disappointed in him.

Moments later, Queen Roseline had already prepared in a sky blue dress. With a half-updo curly hairstyle and a small crown on her head, Queen Roseline looks very graceful even if she only uses natural makeup.

"Sheel." Call Queen Roseline.

King Alec's smile instantly developed as he looked towards him.

"You look so beautiful, Queen." Praise King Alec.

"Thank you, Sire." Queen Roseline said with a smile.

Queen Roseline immediately re-dressed King Alec's robe that was in matching color with her dress.

"I think I'd like to cancel dinner tonight." King Alec said in annoyance.

"Why?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"Because I don't want my Queen's beauty to be enjoyed by a land crocodile like Baron Joseph." Answer King Alec.

Queen Roseline pursed her lips. "Then show the land crocodile that it is Bagindal who is in charge and make him not dare to raise his face to look at me."

King Alec and Queen Roseline arrive at the palace's dining room.

Degs...

"Jason." Lirih Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline stops her steps in surprise to see the face of Baron Joseph who is similar to Jason, the man who always chases Alice in his world.

"What's the Queen? Are you all right?" Ask King Alec.

"Hamba is fine, Sire. My stomach hurts a little." Answer Queen Roseline.

"Would you go back to the queen's palace?"

"No Sire. The pain is hard to go away. We'd better get in, pity you've been waiting for us." Queen Roseline.

King Alec nodded. King Alec immediately took Queen Roseline's hand and walked over to the dining table. Suri Helene's mother was very happy to see the closeness of her son and daughter-in-law.

"Sincerely, Mother." King Alec.

Suri Helene nodded and smiled.

"Our respect, Your Majesty the King and Queen." Baroness Yolanda and Baron Joseph.

"Sit down."

King Alec and Queen Roseline immediately occupied their seats. Baroness Yolanda and Baron Joseph also sat down. The waiter immediately served their dinner dishes. As King Alec alleged, Baron Joseph kept staring at Queen Roseline all night.

"Baron Joseph." Call King Alec.

Baron Joseph jerked. "Yes, Sire."

"Queen Roseline is my wife, she's my woman. So keep your eyes on her." The King of Alec.

Baron Joseph widened his eyes, as did Baroness Yolanda.

"Hamba apologize, Sire. Slave doesn't mean bad. Servant is simply fascinated with the beauty of the Queen." Baron Joseph.

"I know my Queen is beautiful, but I don't like it when other men stare at her with such adoring eyes as you did earlier, Baron Joseph." King Alec.

"Hamba apologizes to Your Majesty, if the attitude of the Son of the servant is considered impolite. I'm sure my son didn't mean anything." Baroness Yolanda.

"Study and discipline again your son, Baroness Yolanda. This is my palace and my kingdom. Don't forget that I'm the one in charge here." King Alec's.

"Okay, Sire." Said Baroness Yolanda while holding back the anger.

"I hope, Baron Joseph keeps his manners and manners while in the palace." Said Suri Helene's Mother.

Baron Joseph grasped the tablespoon firmly. His heart was furious over the humiliation that King Alec had just committed. After the dinner, King Alec escorts Queen Roseline back to the queen's palace. Then, King Alec immediately returned to his palace.
