Chapter 41. Knowing a Reality

Before being taken to the detention room, Isak was allowed to say goodbye first to his wife and two twins.

"Take good care of you and our two children, Ava. I'm sorry I had to leave you guys." Lirih Isak while sobbing.

The two also separated. Queen Roseline looked at King Alec's back who was moving further and further away with a sad face. Queen Roseline let out a long sigh and immediately returned to the queen's palace with Marie. On the way, King Seville stopped their steps. Queen Roseline immediately saluted, and vice versa.

"What is the King of Seville? Why did the King stop us?" Ask Queen Roseline politely.

Queen Roseline took a look at the brooch to make sure.

"That's my lost brooch. Where did the king find him?"

"The queen dropped it when the two of us accidentally collided in the market a moment ago." The King of Seville answered with a smile.

"I did not expect that the Queen of the Kingdom of Cardania liked to disguise herself and adventure out of the palace. What a Queen is a unique and very attractive woman." The compliment.

Queen Roseline took the brooch. "Thank you King Seville for returning it to me. This is one of my favorite brooches."

The heart of the flowery King Sevilen gets a smile from the Queen of Roseline, though it is very thin.

"What if as her thank you, the Queen invites me to have tea together this afternoon?" Ask King Seville.

Queen Roseline realizes the purpose and purpose of King Seville.

King Alec suddenly hugged Queen Roseline from behind, making Queen Roseline's heart thump.

Queen Roseline chuckled.

Marie and several servants immediately brought the food to the king's palace. King Alec smiled happily.

"Thank you, Queen. I promise I'll finish all the food you make. I'm going back to my palace now. Have fun and never forget what I said." King Alec.

Queen Roseline simply nodded her head while rolling her eyeballs. Finished cooking, the Queen immediately cleaned up and prepared to welcome the arrival of the kings and queens she had invited. While King Alec was already at his secret headquarters to meet a man named Ronaf.

"Doctor Ronaf." Physician Ma exclaimed as Mr. Franco's men carried a middle-aged man into the room and put him to sleep in a bed.

"Does the doctor recognize this man?" Ask King Alec.

"Of course, Sire. Dr. Ronaf is a servant's friend. She is the cousin of the late Duchess Rosalia, mother of Queen Roseline, and also the personal physician of Queen Roseline." Answer Physician Ma.

Ronaf was a physician from the Kingdom of Cardania, while Ma and Fay were both Chinese who had been saved by King Uther from slavery when King Uther visited the country. After learning that both of them were healers and mastered the science of medicine, King Uther appointed both of them to be court healers.

"Tabib Ma, is that you?" Ask Dr. Ronaf in a soft voice.

Physician Ma came closer. "Right doctor, it's me Ma healer. Thank goodness you're alive. All this time I've been trying to find you. Why did you suddenly disappear?"

"Some one kidnapped and tried to kill me, healer Ma." Replied Dr. Ronaf while holding back a cry.

"Who has kidnapped and wants to kill you?" Ask King Alec.

Dr. Ronaf was surprised, he tried to get up to pay his respects but his body was too.

"You don't have to get up." The King of Alec.

Doctor Ronaf looked at King Alec with his eyes.

"Hamba please forgive Sire. The servant cannot give respect. I am thankful that the King is okay." Said Dr. Ronaf.

Suddenly the look on Doctor Ronaf's face turned frantic.

"But what about Queen Roseline? Is Her Majesty the Queen alright, physician Ma?"

"Calm yourself, doctor." Said physician Ma.

"How am I supposed to calm down if my niece's life is on the edge?" Doctor Ronaf.

"Take it easy, doctor. And tell me what really happened?" King Alec's Jerk.

Dr. Ronaf fell silent, then took a deep breath.

"The King must know that the Queen has always tried to save His life. The Queen is always a shield when there are people who want to poison His Majesty or people who want to trap His Majesty with a drink that is given medicine."

King Alec widened his eyes.

"Since childhood Queen Roseline has mastered the science of various drugs and poisons, which she descended from her late mother. Wherever the Queen goes, she always carries the antidote. The Queen always took the medicine before drinking the drink that belonged to His Majesty whom the Queen had exchanged before. However, the Queen did not care that night. King Alec's legs felt limp and he fell on the chair.

They dumped the body of the servant on the edge of the forest until finally Prince Henry found the servant." Dr. Ronaf.

King Alec looked at his trembling hands. He deeply regretted what he had done to Queen Roseline before.

"I am truly a wicked and savage human being. I tortured my wife, the woman who saved my life. I am the humiliated husband in this world." Cursed King Alec while crying.
