"He has lost a lot of blood. Get a blood transfusion right away."
"Doctor. The patient's heart rate is getting weaker." Shouted a nurse.
"Prepare the heart drive." Exclaim that doctor.
The doctor immediately performed an electric pacemaker procedure. Several times the doctor gives an electric shock, but the patient's heart rate remains weak. A heart-detecting device makes a long sound.
"Please come back, bro. It's not time you left us and the world." Whisper the doctor, then give another electric shock with greater power.
"Alec!!!" It was Alice who woke him up from his sleep.
"Huhahh... Haaaah..." Alice's breath gasped with sweat pouring down her forehead and body.
Alice held her chest that was beating very fast.
"What's really going on, Alec?" ogre.
Alice took a slow breath to make herself calmer.
Alice's phone rang.
"Hello, Jacob. What's up?" Ask.
"Siran had an accident, Miss. The car hit a big tree." Jacob answered across the phone.
Alice widened her eyes. "S-Sean accident?"
Alice and Jacob took wide steps down the hallway in one of the largest hospitals in England. There was worry on Alice's face. The two arrive in front of a VVIP nursery, where Sean is being treated.
"How are you doing, dear Sean?" Madam Imelda asked with tears.
"Sean's fine, Mom. Mommy don't cry." Sean replies that is visible with bandages at the temple and on the elbow of his left hand.
"What okay? Look at your head and your hands hurt like this." Omel Mrs Imelda.
"It's just a small wound, Mom. It was hit by broken glass, but it was small. It's healing tomorrow." Sean tried to calm his mother.
"Just a small wound you said? The glass is very dangerous. Mommy didn't want to know you had to do a full-body X-ray. Don't let any broken glass get into your body."
"Of Imelda, don't exaggerate this kind of problem. You see for yourself, Sean's fine. If the wound was severe, he would have been unconscious by now or in a coma." Sir Samuel's chirpy look.
"My husband!" Madam Imelda cried out in annoyance.
Master Samuel simply let out a rough breath.
"How's Billy doing?" Ask Mr. Samuel.
"Billy is fine too. Lucky my car has been modified, so that if an accident like this will not have a fatal impact." Answer Sean.
Alice had been standing at the door and listening to their conversation. Alice had seen Sean's situation from behind the small glass in the door. Alice was grateful that Sean was not seriously injured and that there was nothing to worry about anymore. Alice turned around and walked away followed by Jacob. In the middle of the road, Alice runs into Katherine.
"Would you like to come here? To see my fiancee?" Katherine asked in a dislike tone.
"Yes, you're right. I heard he had an accident, so I intend to see him." Answer Alice.
"Basic liar. You said this afternoon that you didn't love Sean. Then what is this? You seem very worried about him. You even got to the hospital earlier than I was Sean's fiancee." Cynic Katherine.
Alice turned her lips. "I just happen to be having some business at this hospital, so I'd like to know how my business partner's in trouble is doing."
"You don't fool me, Alice. I'm not a dumb woman and I don't believe your words at all." Katherine.
"Alice. You've come." Someone greeted Alice from behind Katherine.
"Yes doctor." Alice answered kindly.
"Excuse me Miss Alonzo, I have an appointment with the doctor."
Alice stepped her foot past Katherine who was still silent in place.
"I'm sorry my doctor has taken a doctor's rest at night like this." Alice said badly while hugging Rayya's doctor.
"It's okay, baby. I happen to be having a night shift. The older you get, the more you inherit your mother's pretty face." Answer Rayya's doctor.
Alice and Rayya's doctor walk to Rayya's doctor's office. Katherine stared at the familiarity of the two for a moment. In her heart she was upset that Alice had always managed to break her accusations. Katherine walked quickly to Sean's room. Sean's parents welcomed him warmly, inversely proportional to the child's icy demeanor.
"Seans. Why are you keeping quiet? Can't you appreciate Katherine's kindness one bit? Nights like this he's been willing to come here for defiling you." Read Mr. Samuel who was upset by his son's cold attitude.
"It's not what I want, Dad. I never told him to come here." Answer Sean indifferently.
"You!" Jerk Mr. Samuel.
"Pacify yourself, my husband. We're in the hospital right now, and our son just had an accident. You should be able to control your emotions." Mrs Imelda.
"Aunty's right, Uncle. Katherine's used to Sean's cold attitude anyway." Katherine Sahut.
Sean turned his face because he was lazy to see the face of his fiancee. What Sean wanted to see right now was Alice's face, not Katherine's.
"Aunty and Uncle should go home now. Let me take care of Sean tonight." Katherine was friendly.
"You're so nice, honey. But you also need to rest. You go home, let Aunty and Uncle take care of Sean." Mrs Imelda.
"Aunty take it easy. Katherine can rest here later. Sean is my future husband anyway, so from now on I want to learn to be a good wife for him." Answer Katherine.
"You hear that, Sean? Which woman could be better than Katherine? You should be grateful to have a future wife like her." Omel Mr. Samuel.
"Then Daddy's the one who married her." Answer Sean.
"Sean!" Snapped Mr. Samuel again.
"It's my husband, we'd better go home now. Let Sean rest."
"Darling, Mommy and Daddy went home first. You need to rest a lot. Tomorrow morning Mommy will come again." Madame Imelda said as she kissed the head of her son.
"Take the woman home, Mom." Hiss Sean.
"South." Reprimand Madam Imelda with a soft voice.
Sean snorted in annoyance and folded both his hands in front of his chest.
"Katherine, we go home and we'll take Sean. Please take good care of him." Mrs Imelda.
"You guys just calm down. I'll take good care of Sean."
The two hugged each other before they separated. After Mr. Samuel and Mrs Imelda left, Sean and Katherine were both in the room.
"Go away. I don't need your help. There's a lot of nurses here who'll take care of me." Sean said.
"Are you not ashamed, Kat? I've rejected you many times, but you still haven't given up."
Katherine sat on the edge of the bed. "Love needs a fight, Sean. And I will fight for my love."
"But I don't love you. I love other women."
"I know."
"Then why do you still maintain this charade? All of this will only hurt your heart. We'd better cancel this engagement, 'cause until then I'll never love you." Firm Sean.
Katherine's chest felt tight every time Sean said that hurtful sentence.
"If you can bring my grandfather back to life, then I will grant your request to cancel this engagement." Katherine's words made Sean harden his jaw.
"You're nuts. How can a dead person come back to life?" Jerky Sean.
"Therefore, it is also impossible for me to cancel this engagement." Katherine Sahut. "You better rest now."
Sean turned his back to Katherine.
"If the fateful event had never happened and Katherine's grandfather had not died, I would never have been a debt payer." Inner Sean.
Katherine's grandfather died saving Sean's grandfather who was nearly hit by a truck that lost control. Sean's grandfather survives, but Katherine's grandfather fails to save himself. Katherine's grandfather died instantly after being run over by the truck. Sean's family owes his life to Katherine.
Katherine sat on the sofa while staring at Sean's back.
"I met you first, Sean. I'm more entitled to have you than Alice or any woman. I've been by your side, even though you never considered my existence." Inner Katherine.
Alice and Jacob were in the car. Alice calls Rayya's doctor before she arrives at the hospital. His chest ached after he woke up from his sleep. Even though she already knew Sean was fine, Alice still felt unsettled. Dr. Rayya explained that from the results of his examination there was no serious illness, most likely Alice only experienced fatigue. Rayya's doctor suggested that Alice reduce her activity and get more rest.
"We're going to Fire Eagle headquarters, Jacob." Said Alice.
"Good, Miss." Answer Jacob.
Alice's car stopped some distance away from the gate of the Fire Eagle headquarters. Shortly after, a luxurious limousine that was familiar to Alice entered the headquarters. I don't know why Alice was happy. He hadn't been in that fancy car for a long time.
Alice's happy face turned cold when she saw a beautiful and sexy woman in a red dress pushing Xander's wheelchair inside the base. Both of them seemed to be laughing happily. Even Xander's one hand was stroking the woman's hand. Both look very friendly.
"B*st*rd!" Bait Alice.
Alice orders Jacob to drive his car away from the base. Alice's heart heats up imagining Xander saying the sweet words he once gave her, as well as Xander giving them to other women.
"Once br*ngs*k stays br*ngs*k. I wish I'd never see that guy again." Alice's mind with its jaws hardened and her hands clenched.
"Faster Jacob. I want to get to the mansion soon." Excited Alice.
"None right." Jacob sped up his car.
Unbeknownst to Alice, a pair of eyes had been watching her from inside the headquarters.
"Did the woman leave?" Asked the beautiful woman in red dress with a glass of wine in her hand.
"Yes." Yeah."
The woman approached and stared out of the base.
"We need to be more careful. Scott's right, that woman from the Quinn family is not just any woman. Don't let your disguise be exposed R. Or our boss's life will be in danger." Said the woman.
The man in the wheelchair agreed.
Alice entered the mansion with her angry face. He stepped his foot into the basement, the place he used to practice. Alice took a bow and a few arrows. Alice roughly took out two arrows and released them simultaneously. The attack was on target. Alice repeated it over and over again until the point at which the center of the target was filled with arrows.
"Who's the one who's made my favorite grandson this angry?" There was the voice of Mr. Abraham standing behind Alice.
"Nothing, Cake. Alice just wants to practice." Alice replied without turning back.
Mr. Abraham smiled and pulled Alice's shoulders so that the two faced each other.
"You can't lie to your grandfather, Alice."
Alice took a long breath. Mr. Abraham faithfully waited for his grandson to tell him a story.
"I saw Xander with another woman." Said Alice.
Mr. Abraham raised one eyebrow. "Are you jealous?"
Alice widened her eyes. "Of course not, Cake. I was even disgusted to see them. And I'm upset because I used to want to be his contract date. If it wasn't for getting my necklace back, I wouldn't be dating that one."
Abraham saw the flames of anger in Alice's eyes.
"That's it. Forget what happened. You better go to your room and rest. Doctor Rayya called Grandpa and told him you were unwell. Why don't you tell Grandpa you're sick?"
"Alice is fine, Cake. Just exhausted because there were many tenders that Alice had to deal with immediately." Alice said softly so that her Grandfather would not be anxious.
"alright. Alice to the room first, Cake. Grandpa also took a break. Alice doesn't want grandpa to get sick later." Sneakily.
The two immediately left the training room. Alice immediately went to her room. Mr. Abraham smiled as he looked at Alice.
"You have to get through all of this, my granddaughter, so that you'll get the best man you deserve to be with a queen like you."
