Chapter 32. The Feelings That Start to Shake
The entourage of King Alec and Queen Roseline arrives at the palace. King Alec immediately got off the horse and bent one of his legs to help Queen Roseline down. Her hands were placed on her knees as the footrest of Queen Roseline.
"What did your Majesty do?" Ask Queen Roseline.
"Of course help you get off the horse, my Queen." King Alec replied with a smile.
Queen Roseline rolled her eyeballs.
"How can the servant rest on His Majesty's hand? Everyone will see the servant doing something disrespectful to His Majesty. They will say if the Queen behaves less aj@r to His Majesty. I can go down by myself, Sire." Said Queen Roseline with a vexed face.
"I won't let you down by yourself. The Queen has nothing to worry about. Whoever dares to spread bad rumors about Queen Roseline, then I'll cut off her tongue myself." King Alec said loudly.
The maids and palace guards immediately lowered their heads, as if they did not see what the two lords were up to. Queen Roseline was forced to comply with King Alec's request. Queen Roseline descended slowly.
"Thank you, Sire." Queen Roseline.
"By pleasure, Queen." King Alec replied with a happy smile.
The two immediately entered the palace of the queen mother by walking in tandem.
"Sincerely, Mother." King Alec and Queen Roseline.
"Alec, Seline. Thank goodness you're back."
Queen Mother Helene hugged Queen Roseline. "Mother's heart is not calm when you leave this palace. How's Duke Sullivan doing? I hope Mr. Duke is okay."
"It turns out Duke Sullivan was the target of the criminal, Mother. Lucky we arrived on time, so bad things didn't happen to him." Obviously King Alec.
"Thank God, I'm glad to hear that." Suri Helene said with a happy smile.
"Is the palace okay as long as I'm not around, Mother?" Ask King Alec.
"Everything's fine, son. Marquess Andry and General Azel took good care of Mother and this palace." The Queen Mother Helene.
"Thank God." Gumama King Alec.
Suri Helene's mother took a deep breath.
"But we also have a guest, my son. Baron Joseph, son of Baroness Yolanda came to the palace. And was currently staying at the Guest Pavilion with his mother." Said Suri Helene's Mother.
King Alec snorted in annoyance.
"Baron Joseph's? Why did he come to the palace? Honestly, Mom, I'm not comfortable with their lack of presence in the palace. If it wasn't for the late King Arthur raising Baroness Yolanda as his adopted son, I would have driven them out of here. They always make trouble and the palace loses peace." King Alec exclaimed with his grim face.
"It turns out that person came faster than the story in the novel. It seems like a lot of the storyline is starting to change. I need to be more careful. And I also have to make a calculation with baj****n it's for daring to poison my father." Inner Queen Roseline.
"You must be tired. You should rest and prepare yourself to welcome the kings of the neighboring kingdom of Cardania in two days." Said Suri Helene's Mother.
King Alec widened his eyes. "Two more days are Mom's birthday. Our kingdom will have a birthday party for Mother and also a harvest party."
"Mother heard that the farmers' crops are very good and the wheat produced is of high quality." Said Helene's mother pleased.
"Thank God Mom reminded me. I almost forgot. I have a lot of things we have to prepare. Then we say we'll Mom."
"Let's Queen." The exclaim of King Alec while pulling his hand made Queen Roseline flinch.
"Seline said goodbye, Mother." Queen Roseline.
Suri Helene's mother nodded with a smile looking at her son's behavior.
"What did His Majesty do? Why did the Lord take the hand of the servant?" Queen Roseline asked.
King Alec stopped his steps. "I'm sorry if I hurt you, Queen."
"I almost forgot that there was going to be a party at the palace. There's a very important thing I have to prepare, which is a dress for you. I'd better invite Mrs Kellin to the palace tomorrow morning to make you a dress. Mrs Kellin is the best designer in the kingdom."
"No need, Sire. I already have my own dress designer." Reject Queen Roseline.
"Is the Queen sure she doesn't want to wear Miss Kellin's dress?" Ask King Alec.
Queen Roseline nodded. King Alec looks disappointed.
"But I want us to wear clothes of the same color later." Lirih King Alec.
"Is Your Majesty sure? Isn't your Majesty ashamed to wear clothes that match the color of your servant's dress?" The Queen of Roseline.
"That was my ridiculous thought in the past. And now I've changed my mindset. Even if other people think I'm crazy, I don't have a problem. I just want to show you my love, Queen" King Alec said with a faint smile.
Queen Roseline turned her face away She did not want her gaze to continue looking at King Alec's face because her heart was starting to pound. The two fell silent as they walked towards the queen's palace.
"Is your Majesty busy tomorrow?" Ask Queen Roseline.
Currently the two have been inside Queen Roseline's room because King Alec wants to eat with Queen Roseline.
"No. I'm not busy." King Alec replied quickly.
Queen Roseline smiled amusedly.
"Hamba wants to take His Majesty to go to the place where the designer of the servant dress. Your Majesty can try the clothes of His Majesty who has been prepared for the party later. Is the size and color according to His Majesty's wishes." Queen Roseline.
King Alec's eyes immediately sparkled.
"Is the Queen serious? So the Queen has prepared a suit for me?" King Alec asked in disbelief.
Queen Roseline nodded. King Alec was very happy and immediately hugged and kissed Queen Roseline's forehead, making Queen Roseline's face blush.
"B-waganda."
"I'm too happy Queen. Thank you for giving me your attention." Said King Alec while wiping away the tear point at the end of his eyes because of haru.
Queen Roseline was stunned to see the notoriously loud, cruel and cold man transform into a melanchonic man. But the change in King Alec's attitude has made Queen Roseline's heart, more precisely Alice, warm.
"The Queen should rest now. I'm going back to my palace. See you in the morning Queen." King Alec said with a smile.
King Alec stepped out of Queen Roseline's room. Queen Roseline stood by the window of her room and continued to stare at the handsome and dashing man walking away and disappearing from her sight.
"What's wrong with me? Why is my heart pounding so much because of King Alec? And I'm starting to feel comfortable around him?" Queen Roseline's Murmuring.
"No! I can't melt that easily. I can't get carried away. The one loved by King Alec is Queen Roseline, the owner of this body is not the real me. Just waiting for the time to come. She'll hate me when she finds out that I'm not the real Queen of Roseline. Not only King Alec, but father and brother will also hate me."
"When that time comes, I will go far away from this palace because here is not my place. I don't want to die silly here just because they've turned out to hate me someday. It wasn't my wish to get inside Queen Roseline's body, but from now on I'm taking over this body. And I have full rights over this body." Alice said with a bland smile.
The next morning the Queen of Roseline was made glued when she saw the appearance of King Alec who wore a simple dress. Queen Roseline was convinced that no one would recognize King Alec as a king of the Kingdom of Cardania. However, it was precisely King Alec's current appearance that had Queen Roseline blown away. With a simple appearance, King Alec looks more handsome and manly.
"Queen?"
"Queen?!" Call King Alec.
Queen Roseline flinched from her daydream.
"Yes, Your Majesty." Answer Queen Roseline.
"Is the Queen ready?"
Queen Roseline nodded.
"All right, we're leaving now." Queen Roseline.
They immediately climbed onto the horse belonging to King Alec. King Alec insisted on riding his horse which was larger in size so that it was stronger to support the weight of both of them. King Alec and Queen Roseline leave the palace accompanied by Felix, Marie and Dean.
