Jeslyn walked out of the hospital in a hurry after getting a message from her husband asking her to go home immediately. After getting into his car, he took off the white coat attached to his body and then put it on an empty seat next to him, after which, he just drove his car away from the hospital where he worked.

Jeslyn, a 30-year-old woman who works as a Surgeon in the largest hospital in Jakarta. He was one of the best young doctors in the hospital. He is married to the heiress of the Tjendra Group, Dave Christian Tjendra, who was none other than his first love and the son of a friend from his father while still alive.

Her marriage had turned 1 year but the marriage did not go smoothly because Dave did not love her. They were married to Dave's father, Rolan Christian Tjendra.

In contrast to Jeslyn accepting the marriage with a happy feeling of being married to the man she loved, Dave refused the arranged marriage determined by his father, but Dave was forced to accept it because of threats from his father.

Dave's father was indebted to Jesyn's father when he was alive. At that time, Dave's father's company was threatened with collapse. He had been trying to find a loan here and there to cover his company's losses, but no one wanted to help him.

Until finally Dave's father accidentally met with Jeslyn's father in the hospital when his wife gave birth to a beautiful daughter who is none other than Jeslyn. Dave was 5 years old at the time.

Dave's father and Jeslyn's father were best friends when they were still in high school, their closeness increased when they both studied abroad at the same campus.

They separated when Antonio married a girl who came from Surabaya. Antonio decides to move to his wife's hometown, and they are separated and lost contact.

Antonio and Rolan seem happy when they meet again after years of not seeing each other. That's when Rolan told Antonio the problem, without thinking Antonio immediately gave a loan of funds to Rolan.

Rolan was very surprised when Antonio offered to help him, because it was very difficult to get a sharp stake in large amounts of money. Even Antonio didn't ask when Rolan could return the money.

He told her to tell her if she needed any help. That's when he decided to betroth his son as an adult to strengthen their family relationship.

Gradually the company Rolan became the largest company in Indonesia. When he heard that his best friend had died of a heart attack, Rolan went straight to meet the Jeslyn family. At that time, Jeslyn had just finished her speciality course. He has worked at Victoria Hospital, but still as a General Physician.

After his father's departure, a month later his mother followed his father, as his mother's condition deteriorated after his father's departure. Rolan decided to marry his son to Jeslyn so that someone would take care of Jeslyn after the departure of his parents.

Jeslyn parked his car right in front of the house. With quick steps Jeslyn walked into his house. “Why are you so long? you don't see what time it is?” a heavy voice came from in front of Jeslyn.

Jeslyn draped her doctor's coat on her left arm, then stared fearfully at her husband. “I just finished doing the operation, when I saw a message from you I immediately rushed home,” Jeslyn said in a slow tone.

Such great love made him unable to get angry with the man in front of him, even though Dave was always cold to him. Since marrying Dave, Jeslyn has always given up on Dave to keep his marriage going.

Dave never cares about what he does with his wife because Dave has made a pact not to interfere with each other's personal problems, as long as it does not tarnish the family name.

Although Dave doesn't love Jeslyn, he never plays crazy with women outside. Dave always keeps his distance from other women because there is already a woman that Dave loves very much. Although, Dave never loved her, but Jeslyn always hoped that one day Dave could love her.

“Hurry up, I don't want to be late. We'll be gone in 20 minutes.” Dave walked away from Jeslyn without waiting for an answer from his wife.

“Where are we going?” ask Jeslyn who started following Dave's footsteps.

Dave stopped and turned to Jeslyn. “To my parents' house.” Dave walked away leaving Jeslyn looking surprised upon hearing Dave's reply.

Jeslyn squeezed both of his hands. There was a stroke of worry on his thin face. His narrowed eyes seemed to close for a while, Jeslyn walked towards his room after sighing deeply.

Jeslyn went into his room. He saw Dave sitting on the edge of the bed playing with his phone. “You shower here, I will shower in the next room,” Dave said as Jeslyn mellhat walked into their room.

Dave walked into the wardrobe and then walked out of their room. Jeslyn breathed back. He was actually used to Dave's indifferent nature, but sometimes he felt tired of running a household that was not based on love between the two married couples. Sometimes Jeslyn wants to give up on her household, but she still loves her husband very much.

Jeslyn then walked into the bathroom. He decides to take a shower immediately before Dave scolds him again for taking too long in the bathroom. After finishing the bath, Jeslyn headed for the walk in closet and came back out after finishing dressing. She was wearing an emerald green dress that made Jeslyn look graceful.

Jeslyn was pecking herself in front of the mirror and seeing the reflection of her face that had been covered with thin makeup precisely because her thin makeup made the natural beauty of Jeslyn more radiated clearly.

“We just went to dinner. Why are you dressing up like you're going on a date.” The heavy voice behind him spread out Jeslyn's daydream.

Jeslyn turned to Dave, who looked handsome while wearing a fit-body black shirt suit and matching trousers. With a height of 180 Cm, it makes it look like a male model who has a sturdy posture.

“Sorry Dave, spa should I change for another one?” asked Jeslyn when she saw the dislike of Dave's face.

“I only wear thin makeup, the clothes I use are also simple,” explained Jeslyn in a soft tone.

Dave stared at Jeslyn sharply. “Like that you say simple? Is that true? You can tease other men out there with your makeup.”

Jeslyn actually wanted to reverse Dave's words. All this time he always said he should not interfere in personal affairs and has no right to regulate everything that is personal, but now he started protesting against the clothes he wears.

All this time Dave always said not to interfere and should not ask his personal questions because they had made a written agreement, but he could not say it. He just holds it in his heart.

“Sorry.”

That's the only thing that came out of Jeslyn's mouth. As much as possible he did not speak words that provoked a quarrel between them.

“I don't care who you're related to. But remember, don't cross your line until our agreement expires.”

Jeslyn just looked down. “Good.”

Dave once said they could have a relationship with their loved ones because they were just waiting until the deal was up, the agreement they made before marriage which means that they will divorce after 3 years of marriage. The remaining 2 years before the agreement expires, Dave and Jeslyn still seem like strangers, they are busy with each other's lives.

“We have to leave now or we will be late.”

Jeslyn walks in the footsteps of Dave who is seen coming down the stairs. Jeslyn is trying to keep up with Dave's rapid pace. Fortunately, Jeslyn wore a dress on her knees so it did not make it difficult for her to walk quickly.

There was a loud sound of the pounding of the heels used by Jeslyn. The car drove off after Dave and Jeslyn got into the car. Dave drives the car himself, without the help of a driver to his parents' house.

Dave's car is seen entering a large and luxurious mansion. Dave and Jeslyn get off when the car stops right in front of their parents' mansion. Jesyn hooks his hand on Dave's arm, as he enters Dave's parents' mansion. They always pretend to be a happy married couple when in front of people they know or their parents.

Dave and Jeslyn head straight for the dinner table, as tonight is indeed her mother inviting them to a night grave together in her mansion. Dave and Jeslyn rarely visit Dave's parents' house, due to their busy lives.

“You've arrived?" dave's father said as he watched his son and daughter-in-law enter the dining room.

“Goodnight, Ma, Pa,” greet Jeslyn politely while sitting next to Dave and face to face with both parents Dave.

Dave's father nodded with a smile, while Dave's mother was silent, pretending she was busy getting food for her husband.

“How are you Jeslyn?” Dave's father opened his voice to break the silence at the dinner table.

Jeslyn smiled. “ Good, Pa.”

“How do you work?”

“I'm on a lot of Pa's operating schedule, so can't come here often.”

Dave's mother seemed to ignore the presence of Jeslyn, as well as Dave who had just been silent. He seemed in no mood to join the conversation of Jeslyn and her father.

Dave's father nodded. “It's okay, papa understands.”

“You are a wife, you should focus on taking care of your husband, not being busy taking care of others,”, said Dave's mother with ketus.

Jeslyn. “Sorry, Ma.”

“Mamaa, the duty of the doctor is a noble duty. He saved the lives of so many people, how could you say such a thing to Jeslyn,” Dave's father said in a loud voice.

Dave's mother seemed upset that her husband was defending her daughter-in-law. “But she is a wife Pa, her main obligation is to take care of her husband first. It's been a year married, but she's not even pregnant yet.”
