“But unfortunately, he doesn't want to divorce me. He ripped off our divorce papers. So, stop dreaming to have it because we will never get divorced.”

Dion was a little surprised to hear the words from Dave. “Do you plan to marry that woman without divorcing Jeslyn?” dion asked with a face.

“You don't need to know anything about my personal problems and my household problems,” Dave said with an indifferent face. He felt that Dion had interfered too much with his household affairs with Jeslyn.

Dion approaches Dave and grabs his collar. He looked down at Dave who was still sitting in the chair. “If that happens. I'll take Jeslyn away from you. I won't let events like the old days happen again.”

Dave let go of Dion's hand violently. “Don't ever dare touch me again, or I'll make you regret it. Get out of here before my patience runs out,” threatens Dave with a face that starts to harden.

“Listen Dave..I'm not afraid of your threats. I'm not the kind of person you bully easily. If you ever hurt Jeslyn again, I'll make sure you never see her again. Remember that..!!” Dion leaves Dave with an angry face.

Dave stared at the door that had just closed. His mind was currently mixed. After Dion's departure. Dave looked back at Jeslyn.

Not long after that, Jeslyn opened her eyes. “You're up? What are you feeling? Does your head hurt?”

Dave immediately flocked Jeslyn with a lot of questions when he saw Jeslyn was conscious. It seems that he is worried about his wife.

Jeslyn stared in disbelief at Dave. He did not expect that Dave was currently in front of him. “Why can you be here?” Jeslyn asked another question instead of Dave.

“Adnan contacted me. He said you were here in a fainting state,” Dave replied as he was, "you haven't answered my question Jeslyn."

Dave helps Jeslyn to sit down when he sees his wife seeming hard to get up. “I'm fine. I was just surprised,” Jeslyn brightened in a weak voice.

“Your ankle is broken,” Dave explained when Jeslyn touched the bandaged part of the leg.

“What really happened Jeslyn? Why did you get into an accident?” asked Dave with a curious face.

“I was daydreaming when I brought the car. I didn't knowingly break through the red light. ”

“Why can you be that reckless? Did you know it was dangerous, Hahh??” said Dave in a high tone.

Immediately the emotions rose to hear Jeslyn's words. All this time Jeslyn had never been so careless when driving her car. Dave immediately stood up and hugged Jeslyn when he saw his wife seemed silent while looking down.

“I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you. I'm just afraid of anything happening with you,” Dave said in a soft tone.

“Dave,” call Jeslyn in slow voice.

Dave immediately let go of his embrace. “What's up?” dave asked as he looked at Jeslyn.

“Don't you have to work? Infatuation. I'm fine.”

“I've asked Mark and Diana to handle my work. I will accompany you here,” Dave said as he sat in the chair next to Jeslyn.

“Dave, Stella was meeting me. He gave you the divorce papers you signed. He said you guys will get married soon after divorce with me,” Jeslyn said in a soft voice, “do you really want to divorce with me?” jeslyn asked when she saw Dave looking serious at her.

“Aren't you the one who wants to divorce me? I just follow your wishes,” replied Dave.

“If I don't want to divorce you, will you cancel our divorce?”

Dave pored over his wife's face for a moment. “I never intended to divorce you.”

Jeslyn could not yet guess the meaning of Dave's words. “Rest. Don't mind too much. I'll explain everything later,” Dave said gently.

“Tapii..”.

“I told Adnan to transfer all your work to another doctor. You can't work until you're fully recovered. If you still insist on working. I'll directly tell Adnan to fire you.”

“Did Stella know you were here?”

Jeslyn lowered her head while playing her fingers. “Then go. I'm already fine.”

“Rest, don't think of anything. My relationship with Stella is not what you think. I'll explain everything later. Sleep dear,” Dave said as he stroked Jeslyn's head gently.

Seeing Dave's attention and hearing Dave call him dear again, makes Jeslyn's heart warm. “I'm not sleepy,” says Jeslyn.

“Then you rest.”

Dave helps Jeslyn to lie in bed. Jeslyn just obeyed Dave's words. He felt all over his body was indeed sore, especially in his ankles and hands.

“You wait here. I'm out for a minute.” Dave walked out before Jeslyn could open his voice again.

Jeslyn looked at Dave's back who was starting to move away. He began to think about Dave's words that had been spoken by him. He still didn't understand the meaning of Dave's words.

“Where are you going, baby?” dave asked as Jeslyn appeared to open the blanket covering her lower body.

Jeslyn turned to Dave who had just entered her room. “I want to go to the toilet Dave,” Jeslyn said in a soft voice.

Dave walked quickly to his wife. “Why didn't you call a nurse to help you?”

“I can still walk using Dave's stick,” explained Jeslyn.

“Do I have to fire the nurse on duty here for not taking care of you properly?” dave said with a stern face.

“Dave don't be like that. They are not wrong.”

Dave grabbed Jeslyn's body and immediately carried it. “Davee, put me down!” Jeslyn's face seemed to be blushing as Dave lifted her into the bathroom.

Dave ignored Jeslyn's words. He walked quickly to the bathroom. “Dave, come out, I'll call you when I'm done,” said Jeslyn when Dave had dropped Jeslyn near the sitting closet.

“I'll wait here,” Dave said indifferently. He turned his body back to his wife. “I won't see,” Dave said again as if he knew what was in his wife's mind. He did not want to leave Jeslyn alone in the bathroom for fear of anything happening with his wife.

“But Dave, I'm not comfortable if you're here,” Jeslyn replied in a low voice.

Hearing his wife's words, Dave turned to his wife. “Jeslyn, I am your husband. I've even seen it all. Why are you still ashamed of me?”

Jeslyn finally gave up. He didn't want to continue arguing with Dave over trivial matters.

“Good.” Dave started helping Jeslyn to sit in the closet. When he finished, Dave took his wife back to bed.

“Have you eaten?” dave asked when Dave had just finished covering Jeslyn.

“Not yet,” replied Jeslyn while shaking her head.

Dave then pressed the bell to call the nurse. “Excuse me Sir, Doctor Jeslyn. Is there anything I can help you with?” the nurse was polite.

Jeslyn nodded, while Dave turned his head. “Call Maya to here,” Dave's orders.

“Good Mr.”

Not long after, Maya enters Jeslyn's room. “Maya, from now on you are in charge of looking after my wife. Your job is to help with all my wife's needs while in the hospital. I'll tell Adnan to switch all your tasks to someone else.”
