Waking Up From the Coma

“The truth is I'm pregnant, Dave. In my womb there is a prospective successor to the family Tjendra.”

“Not ... no ... You must want to cheat mama, right?”

“Maa, Dave asked me to keep my pregnancy a secret. I was forced to tell Mama, because Mama forced me to divorce Dave.”

Dave's mother looked surprised. “This is Dave's flesh and blood, this is Mama's grandson," Jeslyn continued. He tried to convince his mother-in-law.

"Cannot be. I don't believe you." Dave's mother kept dodging.

Jeslyn seemed to be breathing slowly. "It's up to you if you don't believe me, but that's the truth."

Dave's mother ignored Jesslyn's words. With quick steps, he walked out of Jesslyn's room with a face still shocked

Moments later, Jeslyn turned her head towards the door when she heard the sound of the door being opened from outside. "Excuse me Madam. Sorry for interrupting your break." Zayn stepped closer to Jeslyn's bed and stood not far from her.

"Zayn, what exactly happened to Dave that night? Why would he have such a terrible accident?" jeslyn asked with a curious face.

For a long time he had wanted to see Zayn to ask about the accident that befell Dave, but because of his condition that is not possible and Dave's condition is still in a coma, making him undo his intention to see Zayn.

Zayn slightly bowed, then said, "I'm sorry Madam. I can't tell the Madam anything yet."

"What is my husband Zayn hiding? You see for yourself what my husband's current condition is like. I need to know what happened to my husband that night."

Once again Zayn bowed. " I'm sorry Madam. I can't tell you even if you force me. It's a direct order from Mr. Dave, before the accident happens."

Jeslyn becomes convinced that there's something Dave has hidden from her. "As long as Mr. Dave is unconscious, I will have my men guard the Madam here, until Mr. Dave is conscious. There's still something I have to work on so I can't take care of Madam all the time. Madam can contact me if you need my help" Zayn said politely.

" All right, thanks Zayn. Go back to the office. I know you must be busy taking care of the company." Jeslyn did not want to burden Zayn with his personal affairs, it was enough that he was burdened by the affairs of the office.

"Good Mistress. Please be patient, if while in this hospital, the Madam will always be followed by my bodyguard. It's for the safety of her life and the baby in her womb, madam," while bowing slightly.

Jeslyn nodded to someone. "All right, I understand.. Go."

Inevitably, he had to follow Zayn's words, but he didn't like it when there were bodyguards following him wherever he went. He can move freely if he is constantly being watched by someone.

It's been 4 days Dave was in a coma.There have been no signs that he will wake up from his coma. Jeslyn walked slowly to the ICU room, slowly pulling the chair beside Dave's bed.

"Dave, why aren't you awake?" Jeslyn held Dave's arm.

Every day Jeslyn would talk to her husband, hoping that Dave would respond to all his outpouring.

As before, there was no response from Dave. "Wake, Dave. I don't know until when I can hold on. I'm afraid mama's gonna do something to keep us apart Dave."

Jeslyn was still trying to get Dave to talk. "I miss Dave so much; wake up baby." Jeslyn began to shed her tears that had been held back by her.

"Didn't you miss me?" Jeslyn continued to speak until it was time for Dave to start moving his hands. "Dave ... You awake yet? Do you remember who I am?" jeslyn quickly asked with a surprised face, as well as pleased when she saw her husband starting to open his eyes.

Dave looked dazed. He just looked at Jesslyn while trying to remember something.Jeslyn quickly pressed the button that connected to the nurse who was on guard.

"What's up, Madam?" ask the nurse when she enters the ICU.

Jeslyn turned to the nurse quickly. "Quick call Doctor Dion Tell him that Dave is conscious" Jesslyn hastily pleaded.

The nurse nodded. "Okay, Madam." The nurse quickly walked out of the ICU.

Jesslyn turned to Dave. "Dave what am I feeling right now? Tell me." Jeslyn began to look panicked when she saw Dave seem silent while holding his head.

"Why am I here?" Dave seemed to be rolling his gaze around the room.

"Dave, did you forget about me?" There was concern in Jesslyn's heart when she saw Dave without any confusion.

Not long after, Dion came in, followed by the nurse behind him. Jeslyn immediately looked back when he heard footsteps approaching towards him.

"Dion, Dave looks confused. What's wrong with her? Why is he like that?" cecar Jeslyn's.

He looked at Jeslyn. "Jes, this is a natural thing you should know that. You better wait outside. I'll check it out first. I'll call you back after I've finished my examination of him."

Panicked, Jeslyn could not think clearly. But he knew that it could happen to a patient who had just woken up from a coma.

"But Dion, I can't leave him." What if he needs me? Or is he looking for me?"

Jeslyn looked very anxious. She still refuses to leave her husband.

Dion can understand Jeslyn's concerns, but his existence leaves him unable to focus. "I'll call you if he's done with the examination. Jes, trust me. I'll do my best. Don't worry"

"All right, I'll wait outside."

Jeslyn decided to follow Dion's words. Jesslyn slowly walked out of the ICU room and sat in front of the room waiting for Dion to finish examining her.

After Jeslyn's departure, Dion begins to check on Dave and asks him a few things.
