Ask for an Explanation Diana

With a quick step, Jeslyn went back upstairs to Dave's room. He wondered what he was doing until he forgot himself.

Jeslyn continued walking towards Dave's room. He glanced at Diana's desk which still looked empty before opening the door of Dave's room.

"Where exactly is Dave?" jeslyn muttered when she saw that the room was still empty.

Jeslyn let out a smooth sigh then sat down on the long sofa. She took her cell phone and called her husband. His heart begins to unsettle when his call is not answered by Dave.

"Tots...Geck..." There was a knocking on the door.

"Lake in." Jeslyn let in.

When the door opened, the woman who had eaten him for a snack this morning came in with a tray. "Excuse me ma'am, I was asked to deliver this meal" the young woman politely said as she approached the sofa.

Jeslyn nodded. "Yeah, just put it on the table." The young lady immediately nodded then placed the food on the table.

"Who told you to bring me food?" jeslyn asked when the woman had finished putting down all her food. "Mr Zayn, ma'am," the woman replied politely.

"All right, thank you." The woman came out after Jeslyn thanked her.

Jeslyn stared at the food on the table for a moment. It was one of his favorite foods. He thinks it must be Dave who told Zayn to deliver food for him.

Jeslyn actually wants to go to the meeting room to see if it's true that Dave is still there, but he undoes it because other than that he doesn't know where the meeting room is. He was afraid of seeing something that would disappoint him.

He ended up just sitting on the couch playing his wiggly finger over the screen of his phone. A few moments later the door opened. Jeslyn took a quick glance to see who had come. Jeslyn looked back at her phone screen after seeing Dave enter along with Diana, followed by Zayn behind her.

Dave seemed to frown when he saw the lazy gaze of his wife. "Darling, why haven't you eaten yet?" dave asked as he approached his seemingly uninspired wife. "Not hungry yet" replied Jeslyn briefly.

"You wait here first yeah, I want to take care of a little work with Diana," Dave kissed his wife's forehead before getting up from the seat.

Jeslyn was silent, not responding to Dave's remarks. He still seems to be focusing on his phone screen. Diana and Zayn then stepped up to follow Dave from behind.

Dave sat in his chair after that opening the file, while Diana stood beside Dave's desk. They seem to be talking about serious things, while Zayn is just watching them.

Feeling bored, Jeslyn then stood up. She turned to her husband who seemed to still be talking to Diana. "Dave, it looks like you're busy, I'd better go home" Jeslyn said as she grabbed her bag.

Dave looked in wonder at his wife. "You go out first" said Dave, staring at Diana and Zayn. They nodded and walked out. 

Dave got up from his chair and walked over to Jeslyn who was still standing. Dave sat down next to his wife and held Jeslyn's hand. "Sit down first." Dave gently pulled up Jeslyn's hand and looked at Jeslyn up close. "What's up, baby? Are you bored?" ask Dave gently.

"Aren't you the one who's busy forgetting me?" asked Jeslyn with a flat face.

Dave smile. "Sorry baby, I'm having an important meeting. I was kind of busy earlier so I couldn't keep you with lunch."

"important meeting? Wasn't your meeting over at lunchtime? Why are you just out now? Are you busy with Diana in the meeting room? Are you so bothered by my presence that you spend time in the meeting room with her?" cecar Jeslyn with a cynical face.

Dave was reassured for a moment, then he smiled broadly. "I did have a meeting with my business partner earlier," explained Dave, "you're adorable it's a pity if you're jealous like this" Dave said, pinching his wife's face as he bent.

Jeslyn instantly displayed a veiled face. "Sick Dave," replied Jeslyn ketus.

At lunchtime, Zayn told the office girl to drive to Dave's room to deliver food to Jeslyn at Dave's behest, but saw that Jeslyn was not there. the office girl then came out again with her food.

He accidentally did not tell Dave because he did not want to disturb Dave who was meeting. Zayn thought that if Dave knew his wife was missing, he would have just left the meeting room by then.

Zayn didn't want to take any chances, the failure of the agreement Dave was talking about with his business partner, let alone that it was an important project for their company. That's why Zayn decided to go out looking for the whereabouts of his boss' wife.

He went to the control room to view the CCTV footage. He wants to find out where Jeslyn is. After a while searching the entire building, Zayn finally saw Jeslyn in the Coffee Shop.

Zayn finally asked someone to watch Jeslyn from afar after which he returned to the meeting room. He deliberately did so to make it easier for him to know the location of Jeslyn.

As Jeslyn walked upstairs to Dave's room, the person watching Jeslyn immediately reported back to Zayn. Therefore, the woman came back with food after she warmed it.

Dave grabs Jeslyn's body and holds her in his lap. "Once Dave, how come someone's looking?" Jeslyn attempts to release Dave's coiled hand on his stomach.

"I don't care" Dave said indifferently. "It's been a while since I've seen you, I've missed you" Dave said, hugging his wife tightly from behind.

Jeslyn attempts to release Dave's hand on his stomach. "Dave, put me down" Jeslyn pinta looked back a little.

"Tell me first, why can you accuse me of being alone with Diana?" dave asked while putting his chin on his wife's shoulder.

"I heard from one of your employees that the two of you didn't come out of the meeting room right after the meeting was over. You even look friendly when you are in the meeting room. You even forgot my whereabouts. The phone didn't pick up and my message didn't get anything back" Jeslyn explained.

"Is that the only thing that makes you angry like this?" ask Dave gently.

Jeslyn then told Daveq everything she had heard from her husband's employees. "Sad you misunderstood. I did finish the meeting with the marketing department at lunchtime, though, but there was one of my business partners who suddenly changed our meeting schedule because he had an important business and had to fly abroad so he advanced our meeting" Dave said.

Seeing his wife still silent, Dave continued. "Regarding the phone I didn't pick up and the message I didn't reply to, it was because my phone was in my silent state. I also did not have time to open my phone because I was disquising the important work matter with Diana. After all, I wasn't just alone with Diana. There was Zayn there before my business partner came, too" Dave explained in detail.

Actually Dave applies the rule prohibiting the use of mobile phones to his employees when the meeting takes place. Although he and Zayn are exceptions to the rule. He rarely checks his phone during meetings. Usually people will contact Dave's assistant if he does not pick up his phone or reply to messages.

When all the employees leave the meeting room, Zayn asks Dave for permission to go to the toilet, leaving Dave and Diana in the room. That's what makes other employees misunderstand the two of them, especially since they have been rumored to have a special relationship.

Dave turned Jeslyn's body to face him and grabbed his wife's chin. "You don't believe me?" dave asked, looking into his wife's eyes.

Seeing that Jeslyn was still silent, Dave grabbed the phone in his pocket and contacted someone.

Not long after, a voice sounded when the door came and Diana appeared from behind the door. "Excuse me sir, can I help you?" diana asked as she approached Dave. He seemed to feel a little uneasy looking at the scene in front of him.

"In, try to tell my wife what happens after we finish the meeting with the marketing department," Dave seemed to change his position even slightly. Jeslyn was still faithfully sitting on his lap.

"Dave, let me down first," Jeslyn pinta in a soft voice as she looked at Diana's glance.

Dave then releases his coiled hand in his wife's stomach and Jeslyn sits on Dave's left side. "meaning?" diana asked with a confused face. He did not understand where his boss was going.

"There is a rumor that says we are back in a relationship and are spending time together in a meeting room. Please explain to him that we have had any relationship other than friendship and also tell him what we did in the meeting room earlier," Pinta Dave.

Diana glanced at Jeslyn and turned to look at Dave. "You're asking me to explain to him as your secretary or as your friend?" diana asked with a calm face.
