Raised Child (Bonus chap)

Jeslyn grabs the child and takes him to the IGD to check and treat him. Along the way to IGD the boy continued to cry while calling his father and son. Upon arrival at the IGD room, Jeslyn immediately laid the child down and examined him.

No serious injuries were found on the boy's body. Only small scratches were on his face and all over his body. Jeslyn thought the child was seriously injured when he saw his shirt covered in blood, apparently after careful examination there were only small wounds. Jeslyn suspected that the blood was from his father. The boy looked calmer and did not cry anymore after being persuaded many times by Jeslyn.

"What's your name, baby?" jeslyn asked gently after she finished treating the girl.

The girl looked scared. He hid his face under the blanket that covered his body.

Jeslyn then gently rubbed the child's head. "Tante is not a bad guy darling. Aunt is a Doctor. You don't have to be afraid."

After being persuaded and given understanding many times, the child finally wants to speak with a few words.

"Celine," the girl replied in a soft voice as Jeslyn again asked her name.

"Celine, aunt's name is Jeslyn. Doctor Jeslyn." As much as possible Jeslyn spoke with a soft name so as not to scare the girl.

Celine simply glanced at Jeslyn without opening her voice. "Now come with aunty, huh?" Jeslyn holds the child and brings him to the treatment room after he asks one of the nurses to take care of Celine's move.

After Celine was transferred to the treatment room, Jelsyn contacted someone. A few moments later someone entered Celine's room. "What's up Jes?" Doctor Keyla walked over to Jeslyn, who was seen sitting next to the sleeping girl.

"Key, I'm asking you to handle Celine until she recovers. He's an accident victim. Right now, his father is being taken to the operating room."

Doctor Keyla glanced at Celine. "alright. Just give me the medical records."

"Yes, I'll give you after I do a CT scan."

Jeslyn did want to do a thorough examination of Celine for fear of internal injuries in her body let alone she was the victim of an accident whose car fell into the abyss.

Jeslyn is a little surprised to learn that Celine survived the accident without serious injuries to her outer body, while her father is critical. Others will think it is impossible for anyone to survive the accident if they see the condition of a badly damaged car.

"It seems like he's been through a deep trauma. I'll also ask Dr. Arifin to treat the trauma" Jeslyn said.

Doctor Keyla nodded. "Who's handling his father?" ask Doctor Keyla.

"Doctor Dion. His father's condition is seriously injured and emergency surgery will be carried out." Jeslyn stood up, "i'll see how his father is first."

"All right."

Jeslyn and Doctor Keyla walked out of Celine's room. Before going to the operating room, Jeslyn first asked the nurse to keep Celine in her room. She was afraid that Celine would cry when she saw no one in her room when she woke up.

Jeslyn was running small when she saw Dion just came out of the operating room. "Dion, what was the condition of the accident victim's patient?" jeslyn asked with an impatient face.

Dion sighed then shook his head. "His skull was cracked, and he had severe bleeding in his head. He should have been able to help if he was brought here sooner. He's dead, Jes."

Jeslyn closed her eyes then took a deep breath and exhaled a long breath.

"He was drained of blood and had broken bones in his legs and hands" Dion said.

"alright. I get it."

"I'm going to ask the nurse to call her family" Dion said

"Yeah. Thank you, Dion."

Dion smiled and held onto Jeslyn's shoulder. "You don't have to thank me."

Jelsyn smiled. "I go first" said Dion.

"Yeah." Yeah."

Jeslyn decided to return to Celine's room again. He felt sorry for her because at her young age, she had to lose her father.

It's been a week since Celine went to the hospital. There was no family searching for him, while his father's body was still in the storage room. The police who handled the accident case suspected that they were a foreign country who was on vacation in Indonesia.

No information was found from their investigation. For a week Celine was in the treatment room and every day Jeslyn always came to visit and accompany Celine when she was free.

"Dave," Jeslyn approached Dave who had just returned to work and was standing unbuttoned on his sleeve.

"What's the matter, baby?" dave asked with an astonished face as Jeslyn hugged him from behind. "Say what you want?" Dave suspects that his wife must have wanted something because she doesn't usually act spoiled towards him.

Jeslyn immediately smiled. "Where do you know that I want something?"

Jeslyn smiled broadly. "Can we adopt one daughter?" ask Jeslyn carefully. Actually Jeslyn was afraid that her husband would get angry after hearing her request.

Dave's forehead immediately shriveled. "Why should you adopt, baby? I can give you one more kid if you want."

"That's not what I mean Dave," Jeslyn argued quickly. "Look, in the hospital there's a girl who survived the accident. He no longer had a family because his father was dead. He's a foreign national, Dave. No one knows about the whereabouts of his other family" Jeslyn said. "The police have given up. They had also been trying to find the existence of a family but were not found either."

"Then?" asked Dave with raised eyebrows.

Jeslyn held her hand against her husband's neck. "I took care to make him our adopted son. Poor him Dave. He doesn't have anyone anymore."

Jeslyn's unbearable nature sometimes makes Dave shake his head. "Darling, you said he was a foreign national, you should know that it would be difficult for us to make him an adopted child" Dave said gently.

As much as possible Dave spoke gently and carefully so that his wife did not misunderstand him and assume he did not agree. "Yeah I know, but I'm sure it's not hard for Dave Christian Tjendra to make it happen, is it?

This time, Jeslyn wants to rely on her husband's influence to make Celine her adopted son. For some reason every time he saw Celine his heart was moved to reach him as a child. Shady and clear eyes make anyone who sees it will be hypnotized and stunned.

Dave looked at his wife for a moment and said, "What would you give me if I agreed to your request?" asked Dave with raised eyebrows.

"Whatever you want, I'll give you if I can."

Dave grinning. "Are you sure you'll give me anything I want? ask Dave again.

Jeslyn nodded. "Alright, don't regret what you said, dear."

Dave immediately carried his wife to the bed and Jeslyn looked just resigned.

"I won't stop until tomorrow morning dear," Dave said as he got on top of his wife.

"But you must promise to keep your word to make him our adopted son."

"Yes, honey, I promise." Without waiting long Dave immediately did his wish.

After work, Jeslyn took Celine home. As per his agreement with Dave, this afternoon Jeslyn brought Celine home.

"Let's go downstairs darling." Jeslyn lifted Celine's body carefully and lowered it.

"Don't be afraid, this is my mother's house." Jeslyn crouched down in front of Celine. "This will be your home too and call me mama from now on" said Jeslyn softly.

Celine nodded. "Then let's go in." Jeslyn took Celine's hand into her house.

Celine is healing, only small visible wounds have begun to dry up and are still scarred. His mental state is better too. He's not as scared anymore. It's just that he looks more silent when dealing with people he doesn't know.

Upon arrival inside, Jeslyn headed straight for the living room where her son and mother-in-law were. Jeslyn told her mother-in-law about Celine. Fortunately, her mother-in-law did not mind. He instead asked Celine to stay at his mansion often to accompany him.

"Ma" called Jeslyn when she saw her mother-in-law holding Jennifer and Levin sitting next to her reading a book.

Dave's mother looked over. "You're home yet?" He glanced at the girl with long hair that had been broken down was hiding behind Jeslyn's feet.

"Yes Ma." Jeslyn then looked back, "don't be afraid darling. That's Oma," Jeslyn pointed to her mother-in-law.

Levin who was reading instantly turned his gaze to the shy little girl. Seeing her son nampal indifferently, Jeslyn then walked up to her son. .

"Levin, it's Celine. From now on she will be your sister" Jeslyn said, staring at her son.

Levin threw a flat look at Celine without saying anything then went back to reading the book. Jeslyn looks back at Celine who looks back hiding behind her feet.

"Don't be afraid, baby. That's Levin's brother, "pointed Jelsyn to Levin.

Levin is seen side-by-side with his flat face. "I don't want to, he's my little brother" Levin said coldly. Her facial expression was the same as her husband's when she didn't like something.

"Why? Doesn't Celine look pretty and cute? Don't you like having a sweet sister like Celine?" asked Jeslyn carefully.

Levin took a quick glance at Celine and said, "I don't want to have another sister. Troublesome." Levin immediately walked towards his room with his flat face.

Jeslyn could only sigh when he saw her son's attitude. "Don't force it on Jes, just let it go. He might need some time to accept Celine's whereabouts" Dave's mother said when she saw Jeslyn's disappointed face.

"Yeah Ma. I get it." Jeslyn stood up and held Celine's hand, "Ma, I'll stay. I'll take Celine to her room."

"Yes." Yeah."
