Dave's best friend

The man approached Dave and hugged him for a moment. "For a long time no see Dave" said the man, patting Dave on the shoulder.

"You haven't answered my question" Dave said, sitting back in his chair.

"I advance my departure. I'm so surprised to hear the news of your second marriage."

Dave never mentioned his first marriage, so his best friend only knew that Dave was married to Felicia.

"I don't think you're coming Glen" said Dave, moving his chair to the right and left.

Glen was Dave's best friend from childhood. They used to be very close. They are close because their parents are friendly too. They were never one school, but they were one campus, while studying abroad. They were separated when Dave decided to return to Indonesia after finishing his studies in London.

"Of course I have to come. When you married Felicia, I couldn't attend because my company was in trouble."

After graduating from college, Glen did not return to Indonesia because he decided to build his own company abroad precisely in Paris.

"No problem. Besides, my marriage to Felicia doesn't matter."

Glen knows about Dave and Felicia. Glen also learns that Dave was forced to marry Felicia. Dave told Glean. Little does Glen know the story of Dave and Felicia's household. Actually Glen knew from the beginning that Dave didn't love Felicia.

Glen also knows that Dave loves Stella. He was quite surprised to hear the news of Dave's second marriage, what's more he knew, the woman wasn't Stella. Glen had no idea that Dave would marry another woman, other than Stella. Glen knows how Dave used to love Stella.

At first Glen thought that Dave was remarried because he was betrothed by his mother, but when Dave said that the woman he was going to marry was the woman he loved so much. Glen was intrigued by the identity of the woman Dave was going to marry.

Glen grew curious because Dave had not yet told him who the woman he was going to marry was, so he forced himself to come to Dave's wedding, even though he had to leave some important work.

"Yes, that's why I'm not too enthusiastic about your marriage to Felicia, but...." Glen hung his words.

He put his hand in his cell pocket, then walked towards the glass wall while looking outwards, then tilted his head slightly at Dave while tilting the corner of his lips with his eyebrows raised.

"I'm very attuned to the woman you're about to marry. What kind of woman is able to melt the heart of a Dave and can occupy the position of Stella who has never existed can replace him in your heart."

"Of course this woman is a very special woman. I'm warning you..! Don't let you fall in love with her, if you see her later. I don't want to fight women with you" Dave said, turning to Glen.

Glen laughed crisply. He slightly lowered his head while swiping the tip of his nose with a clenched finger. "Our female type is different Dave. As long as you know, there's a woman I like."

Dave sneered at Glen. "You mean the woman I haven't been able to find her whereabouts?" ask Dave in a mocking tone. "Don't tell me you're still looking for him now?" guess Dave looked at his best friend.

Glen once asked Dave for help in finding a woman he accidentally met abroad. That woman helped him once. Glen knew nothing about the woman other than her nickname. Glen only knew that he was from Indonesia.

When Dave wants to find out the whereabouts of the woman his best friend asked for, Glen abruptly cancels his request. He said he wanted to find it himself.

Glen glanced at Dave with a relaxed face. "Yesa's right..I haven't found it until now. I'm not here just to attend your wedding, but I'm here and I intend to look for her."

Dave shook his head. "Before you become a weathered bachelor. You better find another woman to marry. Aren't there a lot of women chasing you? Why do you bother looking for a woman you don't even know her whereabouts and origins for" Dave said with a scornful face.

"Don't hunt me down. Aren't you the same way you used to be, looking for Stella's whereabouts? You even spent years looking for her" Glen said with a cynical face.

"Together.. You won't understand what it's like to fall in love at first sight" Glen replied.

"You're such an easy guy. It's so easy to fall in love with a woman you just met" he mocked.

"If I fall in love so easily, how can I be so hard to forget that woman? I'm even single because of that woman."

"That's it. I'm lazy to hear your rant," said Dave, turning back to his desk while tidying up the files on the table.

Glen turned to look at Dave. "Where are you going?" ask Glen to Dave.

"Certainly go home, of course" answered Dave briefly. He started walking towards the door.

"Dave wait," call Glen as he follows Dave and Zayn. "You have the heart to leave me" Glen said as he walked parallel to Dave.

"I have important business. Next time we meet again." Dave kept walking out.

"In, I go home first, if there's anything important call Zayn," Dave said when he was at Diana's desk.

Diana nodded. "Good sir. Be careful," said Diana politely.

"Haiy Di..You're getting pretty. Do you have a boyfriend?" glen asked with a seductive smile.

"Don't you get hit by her deadly seduction. He already has a lot of girlfriends abroad," Dave said as he passed leaving Glen who looked upset because of the words he made.

"At, I'll see you later." Glen walked quickly over to Dave after winking and waving his hand at Diana.

Dave deliberately came home quickly because he wanted to accompany his wife to tour their new home.

Arriving at his parents' mansion. Dave asks Zayn to wait in the living room. While Dave searches for his wife's whereabouts in the room.

"What are you doing?" Dave walked into the room as he approached Jeslyn and Alea who were sitting on the sofa.

"Watching Daddy's cartoons" Alea said, taking her eyes off the television.

"Why are you home?" jeslyn asked when she saw the new wall clock showing at 1pm.

Dave then sat down beside his wife while taking off his suit. "I'd like to take you around our new home, and have Alea come along as well." Dave started rolling up his sleeves.

"alright..You take a shower first" Jeslyn said, looking at her husband.

"Yeah dear." Dave then kisses the tops of his wife and Alea's heads in turn.
