Dave's father seemed to be sighing. “They just got married 1 year Ma!”

“Continue to wait how much longer? Mama already wants to pet granddaughter Pa.”

“Sabar Ma. Give them time,” said Rolan calming his wife.

“Jeslyn, you have to disburse your work, so you can get pregnant quickly, maybe because you are tired make it difficult to get pregnant.”

Jeslyn laughed bitterly in her heart. How could she be pregnant, while her son never once touched her from the beginning they were married.

Although they lived in the same room, they always made a barrier in the middle, so that they did not touch each other. Dave doesn't want to touch Jeslyn at all because he doesn't love her.

Jeslyn nodded. “Good Ma.” Jeslyn could not argue with her mother-in-law's words, let alone from the beginning of the marriage Dave's mother disapproved of their marriage. Dave's mom doesn't like Jeslyn very much. He's always been so mean to Jeslyn.

How can she survive, if there is another woman in the household later because it is impossible for her to get pregnant because Dave will never want to touch her. She would rather marry another woman than touch her.

Without the presence of another woman in the household alone, it has made her heart hurt because the husband she loves never once cared for her. Jeslyn can't even make Dave's heart melt after a year of marriage.

“Mamaa..!! Don't overdo it!” rolan shouted when he heard his wife's words.

Rolan did not think with the way his wife thought, he did know, if his wife did not like Jeslyn, but he did not think that his wife was desperate to ask his son to marry another woman, but he did not think that his wife was desperate, just because Jeslyn's not pregnant.

“Mama's decision can not be contested, all this time mama has been patient enough to wait. The choice is only two, make your wife pregnant any way or marry the woman of your choice,”, said Dave's mother in a loud voice.

“Maa, give us time, Mama can't give me such a difficult choice.” Dave does not want to marry again, the presence of Jeslyn alone has given him a headache. Dave plans to marry the woman he's been in love with, whose whereabouts he still doesn't know where.

“Your time is only three months. No other offers,” said Mother Dave firmly.

“Three months is too short for us Ma. How about a year?” haggar Dave.

He had to try to negotiate with his mother. He did not want to increase the burden of his mind with the presence of one more woman in his life. Dave doesn't want the woman he loves to be angry at knowing he has two wives.

“Can't!”

“Maa, don't be like that, they can be stressed if Mama keeps pressing like that,” said Rolan.

Jeslyn was silent, trying to hide her feelings that were shattered by her mother-in-law's words.

“Papa do not need to interfere with this problem. Mama's decision is round.” Dave's mother stood up. “Remember Mama, give it only 3 months.” Dave's mother stepped away with an angry face leaving the dining room.

Rolan sighed as he shook his head at his wife's stubbornness. “We better have dinner. Later, papa will try to persuade your Mama,” said Rolan while staring at Jeslyn and Dave alternately.

Jeslyn And Dave nodded. They began to eat in silence. Jeslyn only ate a little, his mind constantly flashed through the words of his mother-in-law. As usual Dave just showed his flat face. After they finished dinner, Dave and Jeslyn went straight home, as they had to work again tomorrow morning.

During the trip there was no conversation between the two. They dissolve in each other's minds. When they got home, they went straight to their room. Dave and Jeslyn decide to change their clothes in turn.

They looked still silent, none of them were intending to open their voices. In a quiet atmosphere, Jeslyn is seen walking up the bed, while Dave is busy with his phone. He had already gotten on the bed first.

“I don't want to get married againyou know that I already love other women. I'll marry her after divorce with you.” Dave opened his voice breaking the silence.

Jeslyn's heart was like a knife when she heard Dave's words. In her heart she felt like a foolish woman who still expected sincere love from Dave. Though clearly he knew, that Dave already loved another woman.

“I will find a way to cancel my mother's intention to tell me to marry again.”

“What if mom keeps asking you to get married?” ask Jeslyn slowly.

Dave turned his eyes to Jeslyn. “I'll think of another way out.”

Jeslyn turned his head as his phone rang. He then hurriedly lifted up. Jeslyn finished the conversation quickly. Jeslyn stands.

“Where are you going?” Dave decided to ask when he saw that Jeslyn seemed to be walking quickly towards the wardrobe.

Jeslyn paused for a moment. “I have to go to the hospital. There are patients who are critical.” Jeslyn immediately ran over and hurriedly changed her clothes.

“Who just called you?”

“Doctor Dion, he's my friend.”

Dave smiled cynically. “Did he know you were married?”

Jeslyn's forehead shriveled. He doesn't understand Dave's conversation. “Don't you ask me to keep our marriage a secret from others?”

When Dave agreed to marry her. Dave filed the requirements with both his parents, especially his father and Jeslyn. She wants her marriage to be kept secret for a while.

He also asked for his marriage to be done simply, which only invited the nuclear family, there was no celebration at all. Even the day after her marriage Dave and Jeslyn went straight to work as usual. They don't take leave.

“Had he called you this late. Looks like your contact with him is more than a co-worker.”

Jeslyn started to get emotional, she was really upset by Dave's behavior today.

“Dave, I don't want to argue with you. I'm hustling. We can continue this debate tomorrow.”

Jeslyn doesn't think about Dave. He didn't have time to serve Dave. He's been trying to avoid a fight with Dave, but Dave seems to be deliberately looking for trouble with him.

“It's been 11 p.m., is there really no other doctor who can handle that patient besides you? or because there's no doctor as good as you?” there's a satirical tone in Dave's words.

Jeslyn began to be careless to hear Dave's words, his mood was not good today. “Stop making fun of me Dave. This is my duty, you have no right to comment on my work matters! You have no right to interfere in my affairs.”

Dave was a little surprised when he heard the words from Jeslyn, this was the first time Jeslyn dared to reply sharply. All this time Jeslyn just kept quiet or she would just say quietly to him.

“You..“.

”Tonight I won't be home. I'll sleep in the hospital.”

Jeslyn immediately cut Dave's speech, then he grabbed his doctor's suit. Jeslyn came straight out of her room without waiting for a reply from Dave. Jeslyn also doesn't know where he's getting his courage from, so he dares to reply to Dave's words.

Dave was just silent as he stared at Jeslyn's back which seemed to be starting to disappear behind the door. There was a flash of anger in his gaze. Dave also seems annoyed when Jeslyn dares to leave him without waiting for an answer from him first, let alone Jeslyn daring to cut his words.
