Advice and Threats of Dion

“So, do you really want a divorce with Dave?” Dion sat down on the chair beside Jeslyn.

Jeslyn seemed silent for a moment. He began to doubt his decision. “I haven't talked about it yet with Dave.”

Like Dave's previous advice, he didn't want to make a hasty decision, let alone be in a state of anger.

“You must think carefully before making a decision. Don't let you regret it later. I will support whatever your decision will be.”

Although Dion is happy to hear Jeslyn wants a divorce from Dave, she doesn't want Jeslyn to take the wrong step that will make her regret later.

“Thank you, Dion. Only you are always there when I am in trouble,” Jeslyn said sincerely.

“I told you, never thank me.” Dion looked for a moment in direction. “Where is your husband?”

“He's taking care of my return.”

“I heard your husband is officially divorced with his second wife.”

Jeslyn nodded. “True.”

“Then why do you want to divorce her now?”

“Many factors make me want to divorce her, Dion.”

“I just don't want you to get hurt by the decision you're going to make, Jes. I know that you still love him. Even today, you still love her very much. I know you more than anyone, Jes. You can't lie to me. Do not hurt yourself if your relationship is still maintained,” Dion said while holding Jeslyn's shoulder.

“Rethink my words, I go first.” He stepped out of Jeslyn's room.

When he had just closed the door, Dion accidentally ran into Dave.

Dave, who saw Dion just walk out of his wife's room, stopped his steps and stared at Dion. “Have I warned you to stay away from my wife.” Dave stared intently at Dion who looked to be staring at him as well.

Dion turned the corner of his lips. “Wife..?? That's if you can still defend your household. She may still be my wife, but we don't know how she's going. You should have known that Jeslyn had asked me to find a lawyer to sue for your divorce. If you don't manage to persuade her, I'll make sure she'll be mine."

Dave came forward and grabbed Dion's shirt hard with a darkened face. “Don't ever dream of snatching it from me. I will not remain silent until you dare to approach my wife.”

Dion smiled cynically at Dave. “You better find a way for Jeslyn to change her decision before I express my feelings to her. If the time comes and you haven't managed to convince Jeslyn, then I'm going forward and I won't take a step back. I will fight for my love until she accepts me.” Dion immediately let go of Dave's hand violently, after which walked away leaving Dave.

Dave was seen clenching his hands until the veins in his hands were clearly visible. He began to feel uneasy considering the words thrown by Dion earlier. Instantly feeling disturbed by Dion's words. Before entering Jeslyn's room, Dave arranged his breathing first to calm down for a moment.

Once he could figure it out, Dave walked into his wife's room. Jeslyn was leaning against a pillow while watching television. He actually felt bored for too long in the hospital.

“In the meantime we'll be home. Zayn will bring you food and a change of clothes.”

Dave sat on the couch. His mood was bad after meeting Dion. Dave leaned back his body while closing his eyes. Right now, Dave is trying to suppress his angled anger because of Dion's remarks.

Jeslyn looked silent as she looked at Dave who was sitting behind her. Looks like Dave is nibbling his temple. Several times there was the sound of rough breathing from Dave.

Jeslyn was guessing what Dave was thinking until he looked like he had a heavy load. Dave has never shown such a face even though he has a lot of problems. Not long after that there was a knock on the door. Dave opened his eyes and let his assistant in.

“It's food and clothes, Mr.” Zayn put on the table everything his boss asked for.

Dave grabbed all the items his assistant had brought. “Jeslyn, eat first.”

Dave gave his wife a white container of chicken porridge. He didn't look at his wife's face like he used to. He tends to avoid eye contact with Jeslyn. After Jeslyn took the food she gave him, Dave walked back to the sofa and sat in his place.

Jeslyn had no intention of asking Dave anything when she saw that her husband was more silent. She chose to ignore her husband. When Jeslyn had just finished eating his porridge, Dave's phone rang. Dave lazily picked up the phone.

“Stella.” Dave said the name of the woman in a surprised-looking voice.

Dave immediately turned to Jeslyn while continuing to hear someone talking to him on the phone. Jeslyn clearly knew the name of the woman Dave called him. The woman was a woman who was once much loved by her husband.

Dave walked to the exit. There was a sense of unease in Jeslyn's heart when Stella called Dave. Various questions appeared on Jeslyn's head. A few minutes later, Dave came back into Jeslyn's room. He saw that Jeslyn had finished his porridge.

“Change your clothes. I'll take you back to your apartment,” Dave said as he handed the paperbag to Jeslyn without looking at her in the slightest.

“I can go back to my own apartment. You don't need to drive me.”

Dave seemed to be losing patience. He stared angrily at Jeslyn. “Are you going to act like this to me, Jes? I also have a limit of patience. I know you're still angry, but at least don't keep provoking my emotions.”

"You can divorce me, if you don't like your attitude" Jeslyn said.

"Do you really want to divorce me? Is there no chance for me to repair our relationship?" ask Dave with a disappointed face.

He could no longer hold back from seeing his wife's attitude. Jeslyn just kept silent while turning her eyes away without answering Dave's question.

"All right then. Jeslyn, remember today, it's not me who doesn't want to mend our relationship, but you're the one who won't. You've hurt me, Jes."

Dave immediately went out of Jeslyn's room at a quick pace. He felt he could no longer control his anger. He chose to go instead of having to argue with Jeslyn.

Jeslyn was silent at Dave's departure. Her tears suddenly fell. A few minutes later Jeslyn finally decided to change her clothes. He wants to go home to his apartment.

Dave's assistant came back into Jeslyn's room after knocking on Jeslyn's room. “Sorry to disturb Madam. Mr. Dave told me to wait for Madam to come home,”, Zayn said in a polite tone as possible.

After Dave leaves Jeslyn's room, he meets Zayn in the parking lot. She asks her assistant to drive Jeslyn back to her apartment. Dave decides not to drive Jeslyn to his apartment when he sees Jeslyn's still cold attitude towards him.

“No need Zayn, I can take a taxi,” reject Jeslyn in a slow tone.

“Mr Dave will fire me, if Madam does not come home with me.”

“Dave to where?” jeslyn asked as she looked at her husband's assistant.

“I don't know Madam either. Mr. Dave went straight away after telling me to pocket the Madam home.”

Dave initially wants to live with Jeslyn in his wife's apartment, but after seeing Jeslyn's reluctant attitude with him, Dave decides not to stay with Jeslyn. He feels that Jeslyn does not want to improve their relationship anymore. Dave decided to go home to his own apartment.

“Let me between the Madam,” said Zayn when he saw Jeslyn looked dreamy after hearing his words earlier.

Jeslyn simply nodded while carrying the papaerbag that contained her belongings.
