Felicia's Concerns

Dave's mother opened the door slowly. “Fel, what are you doing?” ask Dave's mother when she sees his daughter-in-law sitting pensively.

Felicia immediately looked over. “Mama just got home?” Dave's mother approached Felicia and stood beside her.

“Iyaa. Why is your face pale? Are you sick?”

“No Ma. I'm okay.” Felicia immediately stood in front of her mother-in-law. “Maa.. How's Dave's condition?” Felicia seemed to be holding her mother-in-law's hand with a feeling of worry.

“She's better. Only recovery stay.”

“What did he ask me? Didn't she say anything to mom?”

“No.. Anyway we just chatted for a while.”

“Is Dave not mad at me Ma?” Felicia was still not satisfied with her mother-in-law's answer.

“Of course not. He'll take you home with him when he recovers. Anyway why should she be mad at you?” Dave's mother seemed surprised by Felicia's attitude.

“I think he'll be mad because I didn't visit him.” Felicia showed her sad face.

“You just calm down. Mama told him you couldn't come because you weren't feeling well.”

Dave's mother guided Felicia to sit on the bed. “You should rest a lot. Don't let you get tired. Mama does not want if it will affect your pregnancy,” said Dave's mother in a soft tone.

“Ma, is it true that Jeslyn is pregnant with Dave's child?” Felicia still questions about Jeslyn's pregnancy she feels is just a essay of Jeslyn alone for fear of divorce by Dave.

“Iyaa.. Before mom came home here, Mama saw Sarah's doctor and asked her directly.”

“How about Dave divorce me Ma because Jeslyn is pregnant?” asked Felicia with a face full of worry.

Dave's mother gently rubbed his daughter-in-law's shoulder. “You just calm down. I'm not gonna let Dave divorce you. In your stomach is a future successor. Either way you're pregnant first.” Dave's mother tries to calm down Felicia who seems to be feeling uneasy.

“I'm just afraid Dave is looking for my mistakes so he can divorce me Ma.”

“You don't have to worry. Mama will protect you.”

Felicia hugged her mother-in-law. “Thank you Ma.”

“Dion, how about the results of Dave's thorough inspection?” Jeslyn stepped closer to Dion's desk.

“No problem Jes. You can check it yourself.” Dion immediately took a white map and a large brown map and thrust on Jeslyn who was sitting in front of him.

Jelsyn grabs the map and sees Dave's medical report. Dion continued to look at Jeslyn's face, which seemed to be in focus. “Contact me if he feels pain in his scar,” continued Dion again when he saw Jeslyn closed the map that was given by him.

Jeslyn's face immediately brightened when he finished checking Dave's medical report. “Thank you Dion. I'll excuse you.” Jeslyn stood up and turned to the exit.

“Jes.” Dion approached Jeslyn.

Jeslyn looked at Dion. “What's up?”

“Are you happy living with Dave?” Dion's question raises a question mark in Jeslyn's mind.

Jeslyn smiled broadly at Dion. “Of course Dion.. I love him so much.”

“If Dave hurts you, come to me. I will always be there for you. Never hide anything from me that could make you suffer.”

Jelsyn. “You don't have to worry. Dave wouldn't do that.”

“I hope so too. I just don't want him to hurt you anymore.”

“Thank you Dion for your concern. I go first.” Jeslyn exited Dion's room to Dave's.

Jeslyn opened the door slowly. His eyes were round when he saw that there was already a patient bed next to Dave's bed. “Why are you still surprised darling? Didn't I tell you you have to move here too. I don't want to be far from you,” Dave said when he saw Jeslyn standing at the door with a surprised face.

Jeslyn walked over to Dave's bed. “You always use your power to manage everything as you see fit.”

“It's not like that Dave I mean.”

“Why are you so long? What are you talking about?” Before Jeslyn goes to Dion's room, he first asks Dave for permission to meet Dion. He didn't want Dave to misunderstand him.

“I have to carefully check your medical report and examination results Dave.”

“You can bring my medical report and bring it here. Don't you know that I don't like it when you get too close to him.”

Jeslyn smiled and kissed her husband on the cheek. “I'm sorry Dave.”

“Alright, I will forgive you but you must kiss my cheek next to it again.”

“Good.” Jeslyn immediately made her husband's request. “Dave I want to take a shower first. ”Iya darling.” Dave smiled as he looked at Jeslyn lovingly.

Jelsyn then walks towards the bathroom, while Dave is seen contacting someone via his cell phone.

After finishing the bath Jeslyn catches up with Dave to bed. "Dave, I'll be out for a minute."

"Where are you going?" Dave looked at his wife with a surprised face.

"I want to buy something for you." Jeslyn was about to walk but had his hand held by Dave.

"Not to darling. I've asked Zayn to bring us some food."

"Why bother him? Isn't he busy with all your work?" Jeslyn felt bad for Zayn because he had often troubled Dave's assistant.

"Honey.. I paid him a high salary. You'd be surprised to know the salary you get every month."

"really?" Jeslyn turned to face her husband.

"Even higher than your salary every month." Jeslyn's eyes widened to hear her husband's words. His salary as a surgeon at the hospital was high. She did not expect that Dave's assistant's salary exceeded that of her husband's assistant.

Dave of course knew his wife's salary because he himself ordered the hospital chief to give his wife a high salary.

"All right."

Not long after that someone from outside knocked on the door from outside and after that the door opened. "Excuse me, sir." Zayn walked up to Dave.

"Put it down there." Dave pointed at the table next to the nightstand close to Jeslyn.

Zayn nodded then put down all the food ordered by Dave.

Dave looked at Jeslyn. "Honey.. Can you leave us a minute? There's something I want to talk to Zayn about for a second" Dave said.

Jeslyn nodded immediately. "I'm going to see Dr. Sarah. You guys talk casually." Jelsyn is exactly why Dave told her to leave. He thinks Dave is hiding something from him.

"Darling, don't wander around. Once your business is done with Dr. Sarah, come straight back here. Don't stop by the doctor's office."

Jeslyn chuckled at her husband's message. He knew exactly who Dave meant. "I'll wait until you're done talking in Sarah's room."

"Hhhhhhhh." Jeslyn walked out of Dave's room with slow steps.

Inwardly he questioned what they were going to talk about so that he should not hear their talk.

Dave turned to Zayn immediately after his wife's departure. "Have you gathered all the evidence?" Dave immediately talked to the core issue.

Zayn immediately nodded with confidence. "Already Sir. When are we going to reveal the truth, sir?"

"Wait until my health is restored. All you have to do right now is deal with my divorce from Felicia without anyone noticing. I'm sure my mom will stop him if she finds out."

"Good Sir. I'll take care of it secretly."
