Dave and Dion's Meeting

Dave picked up his phone before going downstairs. He saw that Jeslyn was asleep. Dave kissed his wife's forehead after walking out of the room.

"Bi Sarti," called Dave when he didn't see Alea in the room he was in to sleep in.

"Yes, sir" Bi Sarti replied as she approached Dave.

"Where's alea going?" ask Dave while looking at bi Sarti.

"Without a meal in the dining room, sir," Bi Sarti replied slowly.

"All right."

"Sorry sir, in front there are guests" said Bi Sarti.

"Yeah. Accompany Alea to eat. I'll see the guest first."

Dave thought that the one in the living room must be Stella because they had promised to meet.

"Tu...."

Not yet had bi Sarti finish his speech. Dave had already passed into the living room.

"You...? What are you here for?" Dave's forehead shriveled and his face was shocked when he saw the man he disliked the most was sitting in his living room staring at his phone screen seriously.

The man immediately raised his head when he heard Dave's voice. The corner of his lips lifted when he saw Dave standing while looking at him.

"Do you seem to dislike my arrival? Am I bothering you?" dion asked with a mocking smile.

Dave walked up to Dion, then sat down in front of him. "How dare you come here. Are you deliberately trying to provoke my anger?" Every time he saw Dion's face, Dave always felt like he was meeting a big enemy.

Dion seemed calm to face Dave's attitude and did not care much about Dave who began to show his anger. Leisurely, Dion circulated his gaze throughout the room that he could reach with his eye gaze.

"My wife is sleeping. You must know what you've done to make him exhausted" Dave said proudly. "So, I'm sorry you had to be disappointed that you couldn't meet him" Dave said.

Dion held back his smile. "You made it very clear to Dave" Dion said casually as he looked at Dave. "It seems you're still very jealous of me. Are you afraid that I'll take Jeslyn from you?" dion asked with a smile.

"Don't be too confident Doctor Dion. Jeslyn only loves me. From then until now, it was only me that he loved. You should know that" Dave replied confidently.

Dion smelled his smile. "Then why are you still afraid of me when you're so sure Jeslyn loves you so much?" dion asked with an eyebrow raised by one.

"Are you not sure of yourself?" dion asked with a mocking smile.

Of course Dion knows that Dave is lying. He could clearly see the jealousy in Dave's eyes every time he saw it especially when Dion started discussing Jeslyn.

Dion manages to fury Dave again. "I'm not unsure of myself, but I'm not sure of you. Didn't you ever intend to take it from me?" asked Dave with raised eyebrows.

"Because that's why you're so afraid of me? Or are you afraid Jeslyn stopped loving you and turned away from you?"

"Until any time you won't get Jeslyn's love. Just so you know, I was his first love. He has liked me for a long time. He can't be tempted by you unless you use a sneaky way to get it" Dave said confidently.

The corner of Dion's lips lifted. "I've known him for a long time. I don't need a sneaky way to get it because I know what makes her happy. Do you want to bet with me, can I get it or not?" challenge Dion with a mocking smile.

Dave's face hardened, his gaze flashed and his mouth clenched. He was silent for a moment.

"Don't provoke my anger Dion. I will not remain silent if you dare to approach my wife. I know your family background. Although your family is influential, but I can destroy your family if you dare to take my wife," Dave threatened with a hardened facial expression.

No one knew anything about Dion's family background. Only Jeslyn knew because they were close by long ago. Jeslyn was even well acquainted with the entire Dion family. Dion's father was a very famous successful businessman.

No one knows that Dion is the son of a well-known mining entrepreneur who also has a thriving hospitality business in Indonesia. His family hotel includes the best and most famous hotel in Indonesia.

Although he comes from a conglomerate family, Dion never relied on his parents. During school and college, he always got a scholarship. He also did not want to work in his father's company because he wanted to pursue his goals to become the best Surgeon Specialist Requirements.

Dion grinning. "How could you love Jeslyn so much. You should've done it before Dave, before he got hurt deeper because of you and your family."

"You don't have to take care of my wife anymore. There's already me who'll take care of her."

"I just don't want you to hurt Jeslyn anymore. It's been enough suffering all this time. Before she was your wife, I was her closest friend. He's used to depending on me because I'm always guarding and protecting him. I'm all he's got" Dion said.

In a moment of silence, there was no more conversation between the two of them.

"Dave."

Dion and Dave immediately turned to the origin of the voice. It was seen that Stella was holding Alea's hand walking towards them.

"Jelyn where are you going?" stella asked when she was standing next to Dave.

Dave looked over for a moment. "He's in the room. He just fell asleep. You can come here tomorrow if you want to see him," Dave explained as he glanced at Stella.

"Alright," Stella said as she nodded.

"Stella, when did you come?" ask Dave with a surprised face.

Stella approached Dion and sat down next to him, while Alea sat down beside Dave. "Half an hour ago," replied Stella gently.

Dave's forehead shriveled perfectly when he saw that Stella seemed ungainly sitting next to Dion. "I came with Dion" continued Stella again as if she knew what was on Dave's mind as she watched Dave observe them both.

Dave then turned to stare at Stella. "What does that mean? I don't get it. Why did you come with him here?" ask Dave with a serious face.

"He's my girlfriend by now" Dion interrupted before Stella could open her voice.

Dave looked dumbfounded. "Is this Stella? I don't understand?" ask Dave while turning to stare at Stella.

"I'll explain everything" Stella said quickly.

It seems that Dave was very surprised by Dion's words. Dave then folded both his hands on his chest. "alright. Now explain everything to me" Dave said with a serious face.

Stella sighed and then told her everything, from the moment she met Ryan to the moment she decided to have a relationship with Dion.

"You don't have to look after Stella anymore. From now on, I'll protect her. You just focus on your wife, don't get taken by other men" said Dion sternly accompanied by a sharp gaze from Dave after he heard Dion's last words.

Dave looked at Stella. "Stella, can you leave us alone? There's something I want to talk to him about" Dave asked with a serious face.

Stella seemed silent for a moment. He knows that Dave doesn't like Dion. He just didn't want any misunderstanding between the two of them.

"I just want to talk to him, Stella," Dave continued after seeing the doubt on Stella's face.

Stella then nodded and took Alea away from the living room.

"What exactly are you planning to do with Dion? Never dare to play Stella. You better stay away from Stella, if you're not serious about her. She's not a woman you can just play with."

"Why? Do you still have feelings for him?" dion asked with a relaxed face.

"Stella and I are just like Jeslyn and you. I'm not worried about him because I still have feelings for him. I loved her once, but my feelings for her have changed. You should know who the woman I love so much is now" Dave said.  

"Right now I'm all he's got. He always depended on me. You must not have known that his family only used him for his personal gain. Therefore, he doesn't want to be in touch with his family so I'm the only place he's in at the moment."

"I don't intend to play him. I don't love her yet, but I can guarantee that I'm serious about being with her. It's up to you to believe it or not, but we've decided to both try to open up" Dion said.

"I'm not a Stella who trusts people easily. I'll keep an eye on him. You can do it too if you want to" said Dave.

"Shouldn't you be happy that I'm in a relationship with Stella? You don't have to be afraid anymore that I'm gonna take Jeslyn from you."

"It all depends on your intention to approach Stella. I'd be mad if you just used Stella because your love wasn't reciprocated by my wife. I warned you. If until I find out, you're playing him, I won't stay silent Dion. I've looked at him like my family. If you hurt her, I'll make the calculations with you" Dave threatened.

"You can see it later, whether I'm serious or just playing it."

Dion could have guessed from the beginning that Dave would not easily believe him because Dave is a person who is very careful and wary of others, especially himself.

"alright. Let's see later" Dave said casually. "I hope this time, you're really serious about being in a relationship with Stella and stop wishing for my wife."
