Dave tightened his embrace. "I'm sorry Jes, I'm sorry. I thought you hated me and didn't love me anymore. I thought you'd live happily without me. Moreover, all this time, I could only hurt you that's why I decided to leave."

Dave's eyes narrowed. "Stella, did you deliberately go to foil our departure?"

Dave wasn't thinking that way, but after seeing Stella in front of the VIP room at this time, he made sure that Stella did it on purpose.
