Cannot Be Saved

Dave stared incessantly into the ICU room as he continued to pacing back and forth. Every now and then, he ruffled his hair and rubbed his face roughly. His appearance was already messy and shabby with his shirt and pants smudged with blood stains. His feelings at the moment were very agitated.

“Dave relax. Everything's gonna be fine. We just pray that something happens with Jeslyn and the baby in her womb.”

Guilt instantly rose in Dave's father's heart. He felt that he was contributing to making Jeslyn suffer. Dave's mother looked over. “The baby cannot be saved Dave, his womb will also be lifted,” said his mother with tears that broke again. Sadness mixed with disappointment because his hope to get a grandchild from his favorite daughter-in-law instantly disappeared.

“Better Mama break in the upper room. I will tell Adnan to prepare a room for Mama,” Dave suggested when he saw his mother's sad face.

After his mother's departure, Dave's phone rang. Dave quickly picked it up. I won't be soft on him anymore,” Dave said with emphasis.

After Dave turned off his cell phone. He squeezed his phone firmly while gritting his teeth.

After the surgery was completed, Felicia was immediately transferred to the treatment room. Dave briefly returned to the ICU to ask about Jeslyn's situation. When Zayn arrives at the hospital, Dave invites his assistant to Adnan's room to discuss serious matters.

After they finished talking, the two of them headed to Felicia's treatment room. “Dave,” call Felicia when she sees her husband walking towards her.

“Our son Dave.” Felicia immediately cried when Dave was already standing in front of her.
