Jeslyn, who could guess it, turned to her husband again. “Dave, you better get in the bathroom. Kangan made the slightest sound, it seemed like it was Dion.”

“For what is he so early to here?” Dave shows a dislike face.

There was another sound of his room bell. Jeslyn who was in a hurry immediately pushed Dave into the bathroom. “Sorry Dave, you have to stay here,” Jeslyn said with a panicked face.

Dave pulls up Jeslyn's hand and takes a moment off his wife's lips when she's about to step out of the bathroom.

“Daveee... !” cry Jeslyn after Dave lets go of his kiss. He never thought he would kiss her under these circumstances.

Dave smiled at Jeslyn's annoyed face. “Don't let him into your room, or I will.”

Jeslyn cuts off Dave's words as the bell continues to ring. “Iyaa.. Jaa.. I know Dave, close the door fast!”

Jeslyn walked to the door after making sure Dave had closed the bathroom door, then fixed the bathrobe before opening the door. “You've had a shower?” dion asked when he saw Jeslyn's hair that was still half wet.

Jeslyn only opened the door half while taking cover behind the door and lowered her half as she was not dressed. “Iyaa, I just finished shower.”

Dion smiling. “I guess you're still asleep because you opened the door a long time ago.”

“I was in the bathroom earlier Dion, so I didn't hear the bell,” lied Jeslyn.

“Alright, I'll wait for you at the restaurant downstairs. Everyone has gathered there for breakfast.”

Jeslyn nodded quickly. “Iyaa, I'll catch up soon.”

Jeslyn blew up the door after Dion's departure. Inwardly he cursed Dave for making it too late for breakfast.

He quickly changed his clothes. “What's he doing here early in the morning?” ask Dave who just came out of the bathroom while drying his still wet hair.

Jeslyn glanced. “Dave why aren't you wearing your shirt?” jeslyn asked when she saw Dave only wearing a towel to cover his lower body.

“Why don't you like to see my body like this?” ask Dave with a slanted smile.

Jeslyn's face flushed. “Dave is still morning, don't talk a no-no.”

Dave walked over to Jeslyn who was sitting at the dresser while putting lipstick on her lips. “You haven't answered my question, why is he here?”

“He just wants to wake me up, Dave. He thinks I'm still sleeping because I haven't come down for breakfast.”

“So much attention to my wife," sneered Dave, "she must like you,” guess Dave.

“Dave, don't start again, I can be late later,” said Jeslyn firmly, “I asked him to wake me up because I was afraid of bad luck.”

“Don't ever ask her again to wake you up, I don't like.!”

Jeslyn got up from her seat. “All right my husband, you better put on your shirt.” Jeslyn then walked to the bathroom to dry her hair using a hairdryer.

Dave smiled when he heard Jeslyn's shuffling to him, then turned to look towards the bathroom. “But I have no clothes, my clothes are in the room that Zayn occupied,” said Dave who can still be heard by Jeslyn.

“Then tell him to deliver your clothes here, after I come out later,” Jeslyn said in a loud voice so that Dave could hear it.

Dave walks into bed and grabs his phone and types something in, then calls someone.

After drying her hair, Jeslyn came out of the bathroom. “Dave I have to leave now. After breakfast I will go straight to the hospital.”

Dave stepped closer to Jeslyn who was picking up his bag and then hugged Jeslyn from behind. “Why rush once dear?”

Dave turned his wife's body in a quick motion. “Don't I ever tell you, if you can't dress up, if you're out without me?” dave said when he saw Jeslyn looking beautiful that morning.

“Sorry Dave, I have to go now, they've been waiting for me.” Jeslyn did not comment on Dave's words. All he had in mind right now was to quickly get down to the restaurant for breakfast. He'll be late, if he continues to follow Dave's words.

“What is that man also doing this social service?”

Jeslyn nodded. "Of course, he's leading our team.”

Dave grunting. “What a great thing it is to be a team leader,” Dave said in a dismissive tone.

Jeslyn. “Dave, Dion is one of the best doctors in your hospital.”

“Still he's still working for me,” said Dave did not want to lose.

Jeslyn seems to be in disbelief if Dave belittles Dion. “Dave, are you going to underestimate me too for working at your hospital?”

“Not as dear I mean.”

“Dave, me and Dion have the same thing in common. We don't rely on our parents. Dion proved that he can stand on his feet, even though his parents are from the upper class just like you. He's independent Dave.”

Dave's face turned sour upon hearing Jeslyn praise Dion. “Then you mean I'm not independent because I just forward what papa put me down?”

“Don't misunderstand Dave, I'm just amazed at him. I know you've worked so hard since you led your father's company and all your business that it's made your company as big as it is now.”

“If you're so impressed with her, why don't you just marry her? Why did you choose to marry me?”

“Dave, me and Dion can't be more than friends. I consider him my family. He was the only one to protect me all this time. Anyway, she doesn't like me.”

Dave looked into Jeslyn's eyes up close. “What if he doesn't think the same as you? How come he thinks you're more than a friend?”

Jeslyn's eyeballs stared upwards for a moment. “I never thought there Dave because we were so close. No wonder many misunderstand our closeness, including you.”

Dave showed his flat face. ”Jeslyn, I'm pretty sure that she likes you. I can see from the way he treats you.”

Jeslyn frowning. “How can you be so sure? You haven't even met Dion in person except at your wedding with Felicia.”

“Of course I'm sure, I often see you being ushered in by him. Just look at him here so early just to wake you up. I was more sure when I met him at the party.”

“Dave I don't want to fight with you because of Dion's problem. All you have to know is we're just friends. We have no special relationship, other than friends,” explained Jeslyn softly.

“Dave I have to go.” He immediately ran over after kissing Dave's cheek. He deliberately did it so that Dave did not get angry because he had left him to rush.

Dave held his cheek, then looked at Jeslyn who looked to be looking at him while opening the door. After Jeslyn's departure, Dave heads to bed, then contacts someone via his cell phone.
