Not long after, Maya enters Jeslyn's room. “Maya, from now on you are in charge of looking after my wife. Your job is to help with all my wife's needs while in the hospital. I'll tell Adnan to switch all your tasks to someone else.”

Dave accidentally told Maya to take care of Jeslyn because previously Maya had also been looking after his wife. At least Maya already knows the things that are related to his wife.

“Good Sir,” said Maya while bowing.

“Buy porridge for my wife in the hospital canteen,” Dave command quickly.

“Good Mr.”

Jeslyn turned to Dave when Maya was gone. “Dave, you don't have to do that. I don't want to trouble others.” Jeslyn seems to feel bad for Maya for having to take care of her.

“Jeslyn, I can't always be here. Someone has to take care of you so I can calm down.”

“Tok.Tok.” The door opened after a knock.

“Daddyyy.” Alea ran straight to Dave.

“Why are you here?” dave asked as he lifted Alea onto his lap.

Stella then approached Dave. “He whined he wanted to meet you, so I brought him here,” Stella explained to Dave.

Dave nodded in understanding. He then looked down at Alea who was staring at Jeslyn.

Stella then turned to Jeslyn. “Are you okay?” ask Stella. There was no slight awkwardness when Stella greeted Jeslyn.

“I'm fine,” Jeslyn replied quietly as she looked at Alea who was on Dave's lap.

“Alea..Greet Mama,” Dave's orders to Alea.

Jeslyn immediately looked at Dave with a shocked face. Stella did not react. “Mama?” Alea looked confused. He doesn't understand why Dave told him to call Jeslyn mama.

“From now on she will be your Mama too. Does Alea like Mama Jeslyn?” Dave tilted his face to look at Alea.

Alea nodded in shame. “What do you mean Dave? Why should he call me that?” Jeslyn could no longer contain her curiosity. There are so many questions on his mind right now.

Dave looked at his wife with a smile. “Didn't you like little kids?”

“Iyaa, but she still has a mother. It's not appropriate for him to call me that.”

“I don't mind if Alea calls you Mama,” chimps Stella with a smile.

Jeslyn seemed to have yet to understand the current situation. “So, are you really planning to get married? That's why you told him to call me that?”

Dave took Alea down from his lap. “Stella, take Alea to sit on that couch,” point Dave at the couch near the door.

Stella nodded. “Come.” Stella then took Alea away to the sofa.

Before speaking to Jeslyn, Dave turned to Alea and Stella for a moment. After that he moved his body closer to his wife. “Jeslyn, you are my wife, she should have called you that. I promise I'll explain everything tomorrow. There's Alea here. She can't listen to what I'm going to tell you,” said Dave slowly, “which for sure is I won't marry Stella.”

Jeslyn looked a little surprised. She looked directly into Dave's eyeballs to find out the truth about her husband's words. “Aleaa. come here baby,” call Dave.

Alea immediately ran over to Dave with a carefree face. Dave then holds Alea back.

“Dave,” call Stella. “I have important business. Can you take care of Alea until I finish my business?” stella asked when Dave had looked at her.

“Hhhmm,” murmured Dave. “Go..Let her be with me.”

“Thank you Dave.” Stella approached Alea and Dave, then looked at her son. “Darling, Mommy has a little business. Alea is here alone with Daddy and Mama Jeslyn huh?” stella said in a soft voice.

“Iya Mommy,” Alea said while nodding. Alea was close to Dave. Maybe because all this time he had never felt the affection of a father, so he loved Dave so much.

“I go first.” Stella walks towards the door after seeing Dave nod.

“Do you mind if Alea is here?” ask Dave when Stella's gone from Jeslyn's room.

Jeslyn continued to stare at Alea who was on Dave's lap. He then turned his body to face Dave and hid his face. She felt embarrassed as Jeslyn looked at her unblinkingly.

Jeslyn has always liked children. He even regularly goes to orphanages every month to visit children who do not have parents. He even became a regular donor at one of the orphanages he frequented.

“Tok..Tokk.”

“Excuse Mister.” Maya enters the room where Jeslyn brings food to Jeslyn.

“Give me.” Dave picks up a package of food brought by Maya.

“You can go. I'll call you if I need your help.”

“Good Mr.” Maya then walks out of Jeslyn's room.

“Darling, you sat here first huh? Daddy wants to feed Mama.” Dave takes Alea next to Jeslyn. Alea nodded while looking down. He looked still timid when he was near Jeslyn. “Dave, I can eat by myself.”

Dave stared intently at his wife. “Don't argue with me Jeslyn. Just obey my words. Open your mouth.” Dave raised his hand which was already holding a spoon filled with porridge.

Jeslyn felt awkward as Dave fed her let alone Alea looking at Dave who was bribing her. Dave continued to feed Jeslyn until the porridge ran out. After Jeslyn finished eating, Dave thrust out a glass filled with water.

“Dave, it looks like Alea has fallen asleep,” Jeslyn said when she saw Alea had closed her eyes. Dave glanced at his watch. At 1pm was Alea's time for a nap. He always takes regular naps.

“I'll move it,” Dave said standing up.

“Not necessary. Let him sleep here with me.” Slowly Jeslyn shifted her body in order for Alea to have enough to sleep.

“I'm afraid he'll touch your wound later.”

“Tidaak..You just allow the position.” Alea's position seemed to sleep half lying down while leaning on a pillow.

“Good.” Dave stood up then confirmed Alea's position to lie perfectly on the bed. Alea seemed to be soundly asleep.

“Do you mind if he calls you Mama?” ask Dave when he's sitting back in his place.

“I'm not his mother. I don't deserve to be called like that by him.”

Dave smiled thinly. “I'm sure you won't mind if you know the truth later,” said Dave confidently.

“Dave, actually a lot I want to ask you.”

“Besok. Today you can't think of anything. You can ask any questions you want tomorrow. I'll answer everything you want to know.”

“Alright,” replied Jeslyn briefly.

Dave begins to envelop Jeslyn and Alea. “Sleep baby. I'll keep you guys here.”

“I can't sleep if you keep looking at me Dave.”

Dave got up from his seat. “Good..I'll sit on the couch. Call me if you need anything.” Jeslyn immediately nodded then tried to close his eyes.
