Like a Stranger

Jeslyn was preparing to leave for the hospital. Today he started working again. A week after his return from the hospital, Jeslyn has never met or communicated with Dave again.

During that time, Jeslyn lived alone in her apartment. This morning, Dion will pick her up at his apartment. Zayn's last day brought him. He accidentally leaves Dave's car in the parking lot after giving the keys to Jeslyn.

Dave tells Zayn to leave his car to get Jeslyn to use the car, if he wants to go anywhere. While Jeslyn's car that Dave bought was in their old house. Dave knew that Jeslyn wouldn't want to go back to the house just to get the car so Dave told Zayn to give the car to Jeslyn.

Right now, Jeslyn was standing in front of her apartment lobby waiting for Dion to come pick her up. He deliberately did not bring a car because he was lazy to drive.

Jeslyn smiled when she saw that Dion's car had just stopped right in front of her. “Have you waited long?” dion asked when Jeslyn had just sat next to him.

Jeslyn shook her head. “No. I just got off 5 minutes ago.”

Not long after, the car drove to the hospital. It took me an hour to get to the hospital. After arriving at the hospital, they headed straight for their respective rooms. They are both busy with their work.

Just at 12 noon Jeslyn came out of her room. He plans to have lunch with Dion outside. Jeslyn then follows Dion to his room.

“Are you not finished?” jeslyn asked as she opened the door to Dion's room and saw that Dion was still struggling with the file in front of him.

Dion lifted his head and immediately closed the file in his hand when he saw that Jeslyn was already in his room. “Sudaah. Let's go,” said Dion standing up.

“Where will we eat?” jeslyn asked as they were walking towards the exit.

Jeslyn did not seem to respond to Dion's question. He followed Jeslyn's eyes looking straight ahead.

Look Dave just got out of the elevator. “Dady...." A girl ran towards Dave while stretching out her arms.

Dave held her daughter. “What's dear?”

“Why didn't Daddy pick me up at school?” The girl showed her pouting face.

“I'm sorry Daddy dear. Daddy's still a lot of work. Daddy promises to pick you up tomorrow,” Dave said as he kissed the boy's cheek.

The girl immediately smiled happily. “Really? Daddy promised to pick me up tomorrow?”

“Iyaa, daddy promise. Have you eaten?” dave asked gently as he held the girl's cheek.

“Not Dad, Alea wants to eat with Daddy,” said the spoiled Alea while draping her hands around Dave's neck. It seems that Dave is very close to the girl.

When Jeslyn's body stiffened when he saw the scene, there was a beautiful woman near Dave. Clearly, Jeslyn recognized the beautiful woman standing next to Dave. That woman is Stella.

Dion who saw the sight began to wonder in his mind. Who are the women and children that Dave is carrying. Why the little boy called daddy to Dave. That question was also what was on Jeslyn's mind at the moment.

“Good. Alea wants to eat what?” ask Dave gently.

“Anything, important with Daddy.”

“Dave, don't spoil Alea too much. Lower her. You can ache later,” said Stella gently.

“I just want to make him happy,” Dave said lightly. Dave then takes Alea down. “Ayoo we go dear.”

When he wanted to walk out accidentally he saw Jeslyn and Dion were standing not far from him. Dave and Jeslyn looked at him for a while.

Dave instantly diverts his back from Jeslyn to Alea. “Iyaaa darling. Let's go.”

The three of them finally left the hospital. Dave and Jeslyn look like strangers. They did not say hello after not meeting for more than a week.

“Jes,” call Dion in slow voice.

Jeslyn instantly regained consciousness from her daydream. “Aah, yes, sorry Dion. I've forgotten you. Ayoo we go.” Jeslyn walked ahead of Dion.

While outside, Jeslyn accidentally bumped into someone. “Sorry Sir, darling by accident. Sorry,” Jeslyn said as she bowed.

The person who was hit by Jeslyn immediately nodded and left. “You all right?” ask Dion.

“Iyaaa. I'm okay.” They immediately walked towards the parking lot towards a restaurant not far from the hospital.

During the trip Jeslyn seemed only silent. He looks like he's daydreaming. “Jes, do you know who Dave's son and woman were with?” dion asked when they were in the restaurant.

Jelsyn immediately regained consciousness from her daydream. “That woman's name is Stella, she's the woman Dave loves. The little boy was the son of Stella.”

“So you know the little boy and the woman?”

“No. I met them near my apartment. Right now I'm calming the boy down when he falls. At that time I did not know that the woman was Stella.”

“Why did the little boy call daddy to Dave? What's Dave's relationship with the kid?” dion asked with a curious face.

Jeslyn shook her head with a lethargic face. “I don't know either, Dion,” replied Jeslyn quietly.

“What could it be Dave's son with that woman? I see them very close.”

“I don't know Dion. Dave once said that he never touched anyone but me, but saw how close they were. I doubt Dave.”'s words Jeslyn's guess is the same as Dion's, but he's not so sure.

Paints... That's what Jeslyn felt when he saw Dave's closeness to Stella and her son. Jeslyn did not expect their relationship to be that of a stranger now.

Their relationship is not as it used to be even though they are both currently husband and wife. Jeslyn has yet to file for divorce as she planned.

“You must clarify your status Jeslyn. Don't be like this. You are still husband and wife but you live apart. You are like people who don't know each other. If you don't love him. Let her go, but if you still love her, repair your relationship.”

Dion can only provide input for Jeslyn. All decisions remain in Jeslyn's hands.

“I don't think he loves me anymore, Dion. He looked so happy with Stella. She loved Stella very much. L'm.. I'm just seb.” He could not continue his words, as soon as his tears had come out soaking his cheeks.

Dion moved to sit next to Jeslyn. He tried to calm down Jeslyn who looked down hiding her tears.

“Meet Dave if you've calmed down. You need to solve both of your problems immediately. Although the reality will hurt later, but you have to keep this problem straight," Dion said, rubbing Jeslyn's shoulder.

“Sounds like he was mad at me because I ignored him back then.”
