Cannot Sleep

Jeslyn wiped his mouth with a tissue. “I'm just a glut of Dave.” Jeslyn then washed his mouth.

Dave stared at Jeslyn for quite a while. “Jeslyn is there something you're hiding from me?”

Jeslyn's face immediately turned pale. He was suddenly nervous. “Ti-no.. I'm not hiding anything from you.” Jeslyn stuttered immediately.

Dave still feels that Jeslyn is lying. “You said no pain, but why did you vomit?”

“I ate too much, Dave.” Jelsyn tried to stand up. He didn't want Dave to know the truth. “I'm tired Dave,” said Jeslyn weakly, face paled back.

“Then you rest in the room.”

Dave lets Jeslyn into the room and puts her in bed. “You've spewed out all the food you ate earlier. You have to eat a little so that your stomach is not empty.”

Jeslyn felt not hungry, but when remembering there was a fetus in her stomach. He had to fill his stomach even a little. “I want to eat fresh bread with chocolate jam and banana fruit.”

Dave then stood up. “You wait here. I'll get it.” After Dave's departure, Jeslyn arranged several pillows to back up her body.

Dave returns with an order requested by Jeslyn. “Eat.”

Dave feeds Jeslyn with fresh bread. After Jeslyn finished 2 loaves of fresh bread and one banana, Dave gave her warm water.

“Sleep.” Dave pulled the blanket when Jeslyn was lying down. “I'll be home after you fall asleep.”

Jelsyn tilted her body back at Dave, the corner of her eyes letting out tears. He immediately felt sad and unwilling when he heard Dave was leaving.

Jeslyn thought that she would never see Dave again after their divorce.

Dave frowned when he heard Jeslyn's sobbing. Dave then held onto Jeslyn's arm. “You why Jes?” Dave attempts to turn Jeslyn around, but is held captive by Jeslyn. He didn't want Dave to see her cry.

Seeing no response from Jelsyn, Dave walks to the other side of the bed and is shocked to find Jelsyn crying. Dave then went to bed and wiped Jeslyn's tears.

“Why are you fighting?” Dave grabbed Jeslyn's body and hugged her. “Do I wrong you?” jeslyn's cry intensified in Dave's arms.

“I'm sorry. I don't know what my fault is, but I'm sorry if I made you cry.” Dave continued to rub Jeslyn's head while continuing to calm her down.

“Sleep.”

Dave kissed Jeslyn's forehead. He felt sad when he saw Jeslyn looking extremely fragile at this moment. He wondered why he looked so weak now, not what he used to be.

Dave was surprised when Jesyn hugged him tightly. What was on his mind right now was that Jeslyn did not want to be left alone. “I'll be home tomorrow morning if you let me stay here.”

Jeslyn simply kept silent as she closed her eyes without taking off her hug on Dave. He sniffed Dave's scent. Dave's scent calmed him down.

Seeing that Jeslyn seemed comfortable in his arms, Dave thought that Jeslyn agreed that he was staying over, much less that Jeslyn seemed unwilling to let go of his embrace.

“If our relationship could go back to what it used to be, I would be so happy Jeslyn. If I can choose, I don't want to divorce you. I love you so much Jeslyn."

Dave opened his eyes as he felt the bed next to him empty. He circulated his gaze throughout the room, but did not discover the whereabouts of Jeslyn. Dave then walked out of the room. He's trying to find Jeslyn in the family room.

“What are you doing?” dave asked when he saw Jeslyn sitting on his back.

Jeslyn turned his head when he heard Dave's hoarse voice. “I'm hungry, Dave.” After spewing out all her food, Jeslyn ate only a small amount of food. He woke up feeling hungry.

Dave sat next to Jeslyn. “Why are you awake?” asked Jeslyn while spooning the dragon fruit into her mouth.

“I was shocked when I saw you weren't in the room.” Dave glanced at the clock on the wall that showed it at 2 a.m.

“Sleep Dave, I'll finish this fruit first.” He felt a little misbehaved as Dave continued to look at his face.

“I will accompany you until you finish eating.” Dave could not bear to leave Jeslyn alone.

“Aren't you going to work tomorrow? You'll be bad luck later.”

Actually Jeslyn prefers to be accompanied by Dave, only that Jeslyn does not want to make Dave late to the office for accompanying him to eat.

“No, I'll set the alarm later.”

Dave doesn't want to waste time alone with Jeslyn because he hasn't seen her for so long that he still misses his wife.

Jeslyn grabbed the warm milk in front of her and drank the milk.

Dave's forehead shriveling. “Didn't you dislike white milk?” Jeslyn never wanted to drink white milk because she did not like it and only drank chocolate milk.

When Jeslyn made up for the drugs in the hospital after being examined by Sarah's doctor, she also bought pregnant women's milk at a mini market in the hospital.

“Dave, I will watch television first new after it sleep.” Jeslyn had just eaten, she felt her stomach was full, so wanting to take her food down just went to bed.

“It's okay, I'll accompany you.” Jeslyn resuscitated the head of the sofa. “Jeslyn, after we get divorced, will you stay here?”

Dave had long wanted to ask that question. He often thought about it, whether he could still meet up with Jeslyn after they divorced.

Jeslyn's face suddenly turned sad when Dave talked about divorce. “I haven't thought about it.”

“I hope you can live happily after our divorce, Jes. Can I see you once in a while after we've split up?”

Although Dave agreed to divorce, but he Dave could not let go of Jeslyn just like that. She still feels very in love with Jeslyn, evident after trying not to meet with Jeslyn for a few days, she feels very much missed him.

“We'll see later.”

Jeslyn herself does not know how she lived her life after divorcing Dave. Living forever with Dave is his greatest hope. It was never thought that his household would end sooner.

Hearing Jeslyn's uncertain answer. Dave suspects that Jeslyn was reluctant to see him again after they divorced. “I'm sorry because during my marriage to me, you always suffered.”

Dave tried to cover up his feelings of sadness in front of Jeslyn. His heart was now filled with deep sadness. He hugged Jeslyn tightly and did not want to let her go.

“Dave, I've forgotten everything. No need to discuss the past anymore.”

“I just don't want you to hate me Jeslyn.”

Dave wanted to make sure they separated well so that in the future he could still have a good relationship after their divorce.

Jeslyn looked at Dave. “I don't hate you, Dave.” In his heart, Jeslyn actually said that he still loves Dave very much.

“You better sleep now. It's morning. Your body is still weak. You can get sick again later.” Jeslyn followed Dave's words. He then walked towards his room.

“You didn't sleep?” jeslyn asked when she saw Dave seem to be motionless.

“I'll sleep here, sleep.”

Dave deliberately wants to sleep in the family room because he does not want Jeslyn to be disturbed by his existence. She was afraid that Jeslyn would feel uncomfortable if she slept inside Jeslyn's room.

Jeslyn's eyes began to glaze over. “Are you mad at me so you don't want to sleep with me anymore?” Jeslyn suddenly felt that Dave was trying to avoid him.

Looking at Jeslyn who seemed to misunderstand him Dave immediately said, “No, I just don't want to make you feel uncomfortable if I sleep in your room.”

Jeslyn immediately walked into the room leaving Dave seemingly confused by her attitude. Jeslyn immediately buried her face in the blanket when she was lying on the bed. He brought back his tears. The change in her mood happened so quickly during her pregnancy.

Dave breaks down his body on the couch after Jeslyn's departure to the room. He tried to close his eyes. Half an hour later, he opened his eyes again because he could not sleep. His mind was fixed on Jeslyn.

Dave finally walks into Jeslyn's room to check if she's asleep or not. When Dave opens the door to Jeslyn's room, he sees Jeslyn sleeping by covering her entire face with a blanket.

He then dropped his blanket. “You haven't slept?” dave asked when he saw Jelsyn's eyes had not been closed.

“I can't sleep.”

Dave sat on the edge of the bed. “Why? Is there something you're thinking?”

“No.”

“I will accompany you here until you fall asleep.” Jeslyn's mood immediately changed. He was happy when Dave wanted to accompany him to sleep.

“You sleep here only. I'm not bothered by you.” Jeslyn patted the empty bed next to her with a smile.

Dave seemed to hesitate for a moment. She was just afraid of not being able to fuss over herself if she slept with Jeslyn in the same bed. “I'll just sit down. After you fall asleep will come out.”

Jeslyn pouted straight away. “If you don't want to sleep here, you better get out.” Seeing Jeslyn looking angry, Dave felt that Jeslyn had misinterpreted the meaning of his words.

“Do you really mind if I sleep here?”

“No,” replied Jeslyn briefly.

“Alright then.” Dave finally got into bed and laid down his body next to Jeslyn. “Sleep.” Jeslyn immediately closed her eyes again while hugging Dave.
