Seminar Invitation

Felicia showed her sad face. “Sick Dave. Jeslyn pushed me strongly earlier,” Felicia said weakly.

Dave stared intently at Jeslyn. “Why did you push him?”

Jeslyn turned to face Dave. “Do you believe that I pushed him?”

“If it wasn't you who pushed her, explain to me why Felicia fell?”

“Already Dave, you don't blame Jeslyn. Maybe he's mad at me because you're more concerned with me than he is.” Felicia tries to make Dave sympathize with her.

“Jeslyn, why did you turn into an abusive woman?”

Jeslyn smiled cynically. “If you don't like my attitude. You just divorce me.” Jeslyn left the two of them with a face of emotion.

Dave chased after Jeslyn and pulled his hand. “I'm not done talking to you!”

Jeslyn throws Dave's hand. “I don't want to talk to you!”

Jeslyn again runs but is pulled again by Dave. This time Dave held onto Jeslyn tightly so he couldn't go anywhere. “You should apologize to him.”

Jeslyn looked at Dave with a defiant look. “I don't want to. I'm not wrong.”

“It seems like all this time I've been too soft on you that you have dared to argue with me,” Dave said with a sharp eye and a heavy voice.

Jeslyn looked silent as she looked at Dave. “Dave I have to work. I don't want to argue with you.”

“Starting today you can't go home late at night like the night before. You should be home in time. At 5pm you should be home already.”

“Dave, I'm not an office employee like you whose commute hours are fixed. I can't get home from work on time. My work hours are erratic, always changing. All my schedules are not the ones lining it up.”

“I'll get Adnan to reset all your schedules. I'll tell him to move all your schedules in the morning until the afternoon only, so there's no longer any reason for you not to go home on time.”

“You can't just manage my work Dave. You've been wrong to use your power.”

“I don't care. It was my hospital. It's up to me to do what. Don't even try to argue with me Jeslyn! Never provoke my emotions.”

Dave stared intently at Jeslyn. “And remember! Stay away from that guy. If not, I'll kick him out of my hospital. I'll make him unable to work at another hospital,” Dave threatened.

“Dave please don't involve Dion in our problems. He doesn't know anything Dave. We are co-workers. Want to not want us to interact while in the hospital.”

“You can only discuss about work with him. Besides, I forbid you to be close to him. You don't try to break my orders Jeslyn,” Dave said with a stern face. “And never bother Felicia when I'm not home,” Dave continued.

Jeslyn releases Dave's weakened arm. “Dave I never bothered him, quite the opposite. He's the one who always bothers me.”

He knew that Felicia must have been defaming him all along. He must have twisted the facts and vilified himself.

“I have to work. Instead of you busy taking care of my business, you better take care of your wife so as not to look for me!” Jeslyn leaves Dave with whom she is still glued.

Dave stared at Jeslyn's back with a hard-to-picture look. He walked in after Jeslyn's car left his house.

After arriving at the hospital, Jeslyn immediately walked towards his room. “Log in,” Jeslyn said after she heard a knock from outside. He smiled as he saw Dion enter his room.

“Hhmmm,” murmured Jeslyn while nodding slowly. He sat back in his seat after looking at the seat in front of him.

Dion threw something at Jeslyn's table. “What is this?” jeslyn asked, staring at the thick paper on her desk.

“Invitation for us. They asked us to be speakers at the seminars held by their campus, especially for medical faculty."

“Who will come?” asked Jeslyn while holding a white invitation and then read it.

“Sarah, Boby, Nelson, you and me,”.

“What is this already on the approval of the hospital chief?” asked Jeslyn again after she finished reading the invitation.

“Of course, I just came from his room to talk about this matter.”

“Does he agree that I'm this seminar?” jeslyn asked with a probing look.

“Iyaa, she agrees. What's wrong?” ask Dion for wonder.

Jeslyn shook his head quickly. “It's okay” Jeslyn started to turn on the computer that was in front of him. “So, when will we leave?” asked Jeslyn again without looking at Dion.

“Tomorrow. I'll pick you up at 4am, because our plane is leaving at 6am. We have to gather first at the airport to discuss some things so we have to leave early to the airport,” explained Dion.

Jeslyn nodded. “Alright, then.”

“I'll call you again tomorrow" said Dion. “Then I go first.” Dion stepped out of Jeslyn's room after seeing Jeslyn nod.

Jeslyn stepped into her house quietly. The atmosphere of his house seemed lonely. Jeslyn walked straight into the room. He arrived at the house at 5pm as Dave had said this morning, if he should get home by 5pm.

Jeslyn walked to the bathroom to clean her body. After that he went down to fill his stomach. Before returning home, Jeslyn stopped by one of his restaurants.

He bought food to bring home. Finish eating Jeslyn back to the room. He decided to pack up the things he would be carrying tomorrow. He must prepare from now on so that no one is left behind.

After finishing preparing his belongings, Jeslyn decides to look for Dave into his study. He wants to say goodbye to Dave. She's afraid Dave will look for her too she's not saying goodbye.

Dave used to never care about where Jeslyn was going, but behind this, Dave always asked. That's why he had to see Dave before he left.

Upon entering Dave's study, Jeslyn did not see anyone there. Jeslyn then looked at the wall clock and saw the clock showing at 8 p.m. Jeslyn thought that Dave might be in Felicia's room, so she decided to go there.

Jeslyn kept knocking on the door, but it wasn't open yet. It's been 5 minutes standing at Felicia's door. Feeling tired, Jeslyn finally returned to her room. Before going to bed he composed some materials or materials that will be delivered at the seminar later.

At exactly 10 p.m., Jeslyn finished her work. He stepped onto the bed, as he had to get up early. Jeslyn decided to go to bed faster. He also felt tired because some nights he was sleep-deprived. He always comes home late at night. Her body feels tired. He took vitamins before going to bed.

Jeslyn's room door opened at exactly 11 p.m. Jeslyn looked asleep. Dave walked in with slow footsteps. He didn't want to wake Jeslyn. His feet stepped closer to Jeslyn, then sat on the edge of the bed.

Dave then looked at Jeslyn's face for quite a while. His hands were raised through Jeslyn's face. Dave then stood up and leaned over to kiss Jeslyn on the forehead. After that he came out of his room.
