Sharing Love: True Love

Sharing Love: True Love
Finally Meet

Jeslyn exhaled a rough breath and then turned his head. "Hi Lyn, long time no see." Glen looked at Jeslyn with a wide smile as the direction of Jeslyn's gaze fell on him.

"Glen?" jeslyn said with a surprised face.

Glen smiled widely. "I thought you blew me Lyn" said Glen in a soft tone.

"Of course not." Jeslyn turned to look at her husband. "So, the guest Diana referred to was Glen?" ask Jeslyn.

"Hhhmmm," murmured Dave as he nodded, "sit down dear." Jeslyn nodded then sat down next to her husband.

Jeslyn immediately felt embarrassed because she had mistaken her husband. He had been thinking strangely when Diana said that Dave could not be bothered because there were important guests in the room.

"How are you doing Lyn?"

Seeing the woman he loved sitting on the side with another man, made Glen's chest throb pain, and, but he tries to master his hurt feelings from seeing the scene in front of him as Dave seems to be deliberately holding his wife's hand in front of him.

"Well, Glen," Jeslyn replied kindly, "how are you?"

"As you can see, I'm good. It's just my heart that hurts" Glen said with a forced smile, "I hear you're a doctor?" ask Glen.

Jeslyn smiled as she nodded. "Yeah. The surgeon" Jeslyn replied.

"Why didn't you tell me that time?"

Had he known that Jeslyn was a doctor, it would have been easier for him to find her whereabouts first.

"Because you didn't ask."

Dave was silent at Glen and his wife's conversation. In his heart he felt jealous seeing the interaction of the two of them that looked familiar.

"Truely, I deserved to recover faster that time. It turned out that I was being treated by a beautiful, angel-hearted doctor," Glen joked and of course instantly got a sharp glint from Dave.

"Thank you for helping me and taking care of me Lyn. Sorry to be able to say it now" said Glen sincerely.

"No problem Glen. That's my job."

"Why did you just leave that time?" glen asked curiously.

When Jeslyn suddenly disappeared on the second day after she came to her senses, Glen was disappointed that he had not been able to thank her and did not know anything about the woman who had helped him.

"My task is done. You've come to your senses so there's no reason for me to come see you anymore" replied Jeslyn.

"I didn't think you were Dave's wife. I was very surprised to find out that you were married to him" Glen said with eyes that exuded sadness and disappointment.

"I was also surprised to find out that you were Dave's friend. It turns out the world is narrow" Jeslyn said with a faint smile.

"I'll be out for a while, you can continue your conversation" Dave said as he stood up.

He walked towards the door without waiting for a response from the two people who had been chatting earlier. Seeing his wife seem familiar to other men made him burn flames of jealousy. He was afraid that the longer he was there, the more his chest would burn and it would make him even more jealous.

Aside from jealousy, it's actually one of the reasons Dave left them both out of wanting to give Glen time to tell his wife everything he wanted to say. At least Glen wouldn't be curious about his wife anymore.

"Lyn," called Glen when she saw that Jeslyn was still looking at her husband.

Jeslyn turned to Glen. "Sorry Glen."

"I want to ask you a question, but it's a bit personal" Glen said carefully.

"What do you want to ask me?"

Actually Jeslyn could guess what Glen would ask her, but she just pretended not to know.

"Are you happy to be married to Dave?"

"Of course, Glen. I love her so much. He's the only man I've loved since then."

Jeslyn deliberately said that so that Glen would not wish on her anymore.

"I know how you feel about me. Dave told me last night" said Jeslyn, "sorry to disappoint you Glen, but I can't return your feelings. I'm married and I love my husband very much" Jeslyn said with a guilty face.

Glen breathed a heavy sigh. He felt as if his chest had been hit by a boulder after hearing Jeslyn's confession. Sakiitt, that's how Glen feels right now.

"I understand. I can't force you to return my feelings. I just want you to know about my true feelings for you so there's no regret in my life for harboring my feelings."

After saying that, Glen tried to carve a sweet smile on his face, even though his heart was in pain. Jeslyn could certainly capture the sadness and disappointment in the look in Glen's eyes that he was trying to cover up his smile.

"I hope you can meet a good woman and love you with all your heart, Glen" Jeslyn said.

"You're a good man. Of course you'll meet a better woman than me. I'm sure there will be a time, you'll find happiness in a way you never thought you'd find."

"Dave is very lucky to have your wife like you" Glen said in a soft voice.

"I'm not as good as you think I am, Glen. I have many flaws that you don't know about. I'm still learning to improve myself" Jeslyn explained.

"Everybody has their own flaws, Lyn. I just envy Dave for having a near-perfect life" Glen said.

******

"Dave wait."

Jeslyn chased after her husband's step which seemed to be far ahead of her. They just got home at 7 p.m. After talking to Glen until he got home, her husband was more silent. He doesn't talk if not asked by Jeslyn.

Dave looked back. "Why are you running? You can get tired later," Dave said when he saw his wife running at him.

Jeslyn took her breath for a moment when she was already next to her husband. "That's because you left me," Jeslyn said with a gasp of breath, "are you mad at me?" jeslyn asked with a sad face.

Dave immediately grabbed his wife. "No dear, I'm sorry" said Dave, kissing the tip of his wife's head.

Jeslyn nodded in Dave's arms. "We eat first, then take a shower" Dave suggested.

"Yes." Yeah."

Dave unraveled his embrace and then grabbed his wife's waist to walk side by side with her. They went straight to the dining room, asking bi Sarti to prepare dinner for them.

After eating they go into the room to cleanse their bodies. To save time, Dave decides to take a bath with his wife. After changing clothes, Dave walked to the bed and sat half-lying down, while Jeslyn was drying her hair.

"What did Glen say to you?"

Out also the question that had been in his mind. At first he wanted to wait for Jeslyn to tell him, but until they got home, Jeslyn did not tell him anything.

Jeslyn who was sitting in front of the dressing table immediately turned her body to face her husband. "He wanted to make friends with me, but I refused. I know that you definitely don't like me being in touch with him, let alone having feelings for me" Jeslyn replied honestly.

Dave was silent. He looked at his wife for quite a while without saying anything.

"I told him I didn't love him, Dave and I told him I only love you."

Jeslyn walked over to her husband when she saw that Dave still had not given any response. She got into bed and lay on her side, putting her head on her husband's chest and holding him.

"Dave, why are you quiet?" Jeslyn looked up at Dave who seemed to be still thinking.

"It's okay, honey," said Dave, wrapping his left hand around his wife's lying body and holding her as well.

"Last afternoon I was angry with you" Jeslyn said, playing her fingers on her husband's chest.

Dave looked down in wonder at his wife. "Why?"

"I thought you were making out with the other woman in your room" I'm Jeslyn with a slightly embarrassed face.

"I can't do something like that, baby. You think I'm a jerk who can make out with a woman who's not my wife" Dave says, "even Felicia, who was my wife, I never touched, let alone anyone else," Dave says.

Actually, Dave doesn't understand why his wife thinks like that? If he wanted to misbehave, he could easily do it elsewhere.

"That's because Diana and Zayn strictly forbid me to enter your room. Of course I immediately thought badly of you."

"Listen to me, honey. I'll never touch any woman but you, even if they try to tease me" Dave said, hugging his wife.

"Do any of them like to tease you?"

"HHhmmm," Dave nodded.

"You gotta keep your distance from them, Dave. I don't like my husband being too close to other women. You also can no longer eat alone with any woman, even for work. At least take Zayn with you or take Diana with you" Jeslyn said with a serious face.

"Yes, honey," said Dave gently, "just let your sleeping position dear, your body can be sore later," said Dave while releasing his embrace.

"don't want. I want to sleep while hugging you like this" Jeslyn refused with a pouting face.

"Then I'll clear my position first."

Jeslyn raised his head, after which, Dave confirmed his sleeping position in order to lay perfectly. He put away the pillow he had used to lean on.

"Sleep, Honey." Dave lay down while hugging his wife. Jeslyn nodded after that closed her eyes.
