Sharing Love: True Love

Sharing Love: True Love
Celine (Bonus chap)

"Are you really Celine's family?" Dave looked suspiciously at Felix and Sandra. Dave just feels weird why they just came after so many years.

Jeslyn immediately contacts Dave when someone claims to be Celine's family and wants to take her away.

"of course. Why do we lie." Sandra tried to smile kindly.

"Give me solid proof, then I'll let Celine go" Dave said with a serious face.

"Davee."

Jeslyn seemed to disagree with her husband's decision. She was as affectionate with Celine as her own son. She did not want to let go of Celine even to her family. According to Jeslyn, they had abandoned Celine long enough.

Dave turned to Jeslyn, clasping his wife's hand with a calm face. "This is a document that can prove that Celine is indeed our long-lost niece."

Dave received the document and checked it carefully. Dave placed the document on the table and looked at his wife. "You have to take it off, baby. They are his family."

Jeslyn's tears immediately flowed. He was unable to hold back his tears that he had been holding back.

"Give us some time to have a farewell with Celine. My wife loves Celine very much and already thinks of her like her own child. I beg you to understand."

Sandra and Felix looked at each other. "alright. We'll give you two days. We will be back again to bring Celine," Sandra said kindly.

Jeslyn went straight to her room after the departure of Sandra and Felix. Dave just lets Jeslyn settle down in the room while Dave looks for Celine to tell him about his family and his move abroad.

Dave told her very carefully. Celine was silent after Dave finished telling her everything. Dave could feel that Celine didn't want to come back with her family.

Celine lives with Dave and Jeslyn. Dave could only give Celine an understanding so she wouldn't misunderstand. Dave also actually does not want to take it off just that he also can not hold Celine to return with his family.

After talking to Celine, Dave returned to the room to calm his wife down.

"Darling, we can't be selfish. They are Celine's family. We can't help it" Dave said as he sat in front of a crying Jeslyn.

"But he's already our son, Dave. He has lived with us for a long time. I love him so much, Dave." Jeslyn was still overwhelmed with deep sadness considering that she was going to part with Celine.

Dave wiped his wife's tears away. "Yeah baby, I know, but think about the feelings of his family, too" Dave said gently.

"What if Celine wants to stay with us? Are you gonna let him go?"

Dave exhaled. "Celine's a little girl, baby. She doesn't know what's best for her yet." Seeing his wife crying kept him feeling sad. "We can still communicate with him. I'll ask his uncle and aunt not to cut off communication with us."

"But I can't take it off, Dave. She's my daughter, too." Jeslyn is back sobbing.

"What if we have one more child?" That's the only way Dave had in mind to divert his wife's grief.

Jeslyn shook her head. "Dear, listen to me. Celine just moved to the other hemisphere. We can visit her as often as possible if you miss her."

"I'm just afraid that Celine will suddenly disappear without any news and forget all of us."

Dave held his wife's body in his arms. "It won't be, baby. Even if that happens, Celine will definitely look for us when she grows up, trust me."

Jeslyn did not reply could only cry in her husband's arms.

Celine looked at Levin for a moment, before approaching him. "Sister," called Celine in a low voice.

Levin glanced at Celine. "Why?" Levin refocused on the book he was reading.

Celine sat down in front of Levin. "Wouldn't you accompany me to go to the mall with the others?" celine asked with a hopeful face.

"Can't, I'm busy" Levin said flatly.

Celine looks a little disappointed. Actually before leaving, he wanted to spend time with Levin and leave fond memories with Levin and the others.

"Yes already." Celine doesn't dare force Levin out of fear Levin will get mad at her.

"Sister, if I leave, will you be sad?" Celine seemed to ask with a smile. A forced smile.

Hearing that, Levin immediately turned his gaze to Celine. "Why? Are you going? Can you live out there alone?"

Celine shook her head. "I just want to know."

Levin stared at Celine for quite a while. "Don't talk no." Levin looked back at the book he had on his lap.

"Then Celine goes first." Levin just nodded.

Today is sunday. So Celine wants to spend time with her new family before she leaves, but because Levin refuses to come along they all leave without Levin.

Celine accidentally doesn't tell Levin about her plans for a move because she thinks Levin won't care about her.

All along at the mall Jeslyn looks continue to stick to Celine. She couldn't even hold back her tears every time she imagined Celine would be gone tomorrow.

Only Jennifer and Levin don't know about Celine's move. Therefore, Jennifer looks surprised to see her mother who continues to cry every time she is near Celine. Take a walk, they all go home.

"Why aren't you getting ready? Don't you want to go to school?"

Levin looks surprised to see Celine who is not wearing her school uniform while the time has shown at 6 am.

They were all gathered at the dinner table for breakfast together. "No Brother," replied Celine softly.

"Why?"

"Levin, finish your breakfast, you'll be late" Jeslyn said.

"Mama spoiled her too much." Levin's words are for Celine.

"I can't go to school today, sister," explains Celine.

"Towards you," Levin said indifferently.

After breakfast, Jeslyn and Dave drive Jennifer and Levin to school. After that, they returned home again to wait for the Celine family to come.

"I hope you guys don't cut off communication with us" Dave asked when Celine's family was at his house.

"of course. You can visit Celine if you miss her."

"Thank you." Throughout their chatter Jeslyn just kept quiet while clutching Celine with tears that kept flowing.

"Then we go first" said Felix.

"We'll take you to the airport" Dave said.

"All right."

Arriving at the airport. Jeslyn looks unwilling to let go of Celine. She hugged Celine. "Darling, let Celine go." Dave could not bear to see his wife who kept crying all the way to the airport.

"Yeah, Mom. Celine loves Mama" said Celine, hugging Jeslyn tightly.

"Mama's too sorry about Celine."

Jeslyn took off her mother's necklace and draped it on Celine. "Never take this necklace off, baby," Jeslyn pinta once she's done putting a necklace around Celine's neck.

Celine nodded. "Yeah, Mom. Thank you." Thank you."

After farewell. Celine and her family entered the airport. Dave and Jeslyn wave until Celine disappears. Without them knowing, that would be their last meeting.

Levin circulated his gaze throughout the house when he had just returned from school. It was like he was looking for someone. Not finding the person she was looking for, she decided to go to her room after eating.

In the afternoon, he went back to find someone. "Oma, where's mama?" levin asked curiously.

From noon he did not see his mother. He even felt astonished when he saw his father's car was perched in the garage of their house even though it was still working hours.

"In the room." Dave's mother was accompanying Jennifer to watch television.

Levin decides to go to his parents' room. Before entering he knocked on his parents' bedroom door first. "Lake in." There was a hoarse voice in the room.

Levin opened the door and went into his parents' room. His forehead immediately wrinkled when he saw his mother's face.

"Mama why?" Levin approached his mother who was lying in bed with his father.

"Mama's okay." Jeslyn tried to get out of bed.

"What makes my mom cry?" Levin squinted his eyes at Dave.

"Not papa, but Celine," said Dave indifferently.

Hearing Celine's name being called instantly Levin said, "Just bother. Why else is he?" Levin looked a little upset and curious.

"Mama is sad because Celine left," Dave replied quickly.

Levin frowning. "Go? Go where?" levin asked with a curious face.

"Switzerland" answered Dave briefly.

"Switzerland? Why'd he go there?" Levin still couldn't grasp the meaning of his father's words.

"His family brought Celine back to her country. He will stay there forever with his family" Jeslyn said. Her tears flowed back when discussing Celine.

Levin's frozen. He seemed to have been thrown from the highest peak and fell to the bottom of the abyss. Unable to move and unable to respond at all within a few moments.

"Mama let him go? Mama didn't try to prevent it?" Levin seems to be starting to get emotional.

"They're Levin's family. Mama and papa couldn't prevent it" Jeslyn said with a helpless face. Jeslyn opened the nightstand drawer by her bedside.

"He left this for you." Jeslyn gives a blue envelope with a floral motif.

Levin seems unwilling to accept it but is forced by Jeslyn. "This is why Levin never agreed mama raised him as a child because he would definitely leave us one day. And that is evident now" said Levin coldly.

"Aren't you afraid she's living miserable with her family? What if someone bullies her and torments her? How could Mama just let go of him? He can't even protect himself, Ma!" lick Levin with an emotional face and a high tone.

"Why do you blame your mother? Don't you hate Celine? You should be glad he's gone." Dave doesn't seem to like hearing his son's words.

Levin stared intently at his father. "Did I ever tell you I hate him?" levin asked with an angry face. "I just don't want her to be my sister. That's it," Levin explained.

"But your attitude was always cold to him, so why did you get so angry when he went and blamed your mama?"

Levin grabbed the amlop and stood up. "It was Mama's fault. Mama should never have brought Celine into our lives if it would have hurt us all." It was clearly a look of disappointment and sadness on Levin's handsome face.

"Levin, don't talk!" dave said in a high voice.

"Mama has hurt Jen and me with Celine gone. I won't forgive Mama before I bring Celine back." Levin walked straight out of the room by slamming the door firmly.

"Guil..!!" shouted Dave with an emotional face.

"Dave, stop. It's my fault" Jeslyn said in a weak voice.

"The boy was too pampered to make him brash" said Dave emotionally.

Levin went into her room and locked her up. He set his emotions astray, After which he began to open the letter left behind by Celine.

Dear Levin's, uh,

Brother Levin, I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye to you. I know Levin wouldn't care if I left. Brother must be happy that I don't live with you guys anymore. Hopefully with my departure brother can live happily and will not hate me again.

I also don't know what my fault is that it makes my sister hate me. I thought about it a lot, but I didn't find the right answer.

Is it possible because my origins are unclear or because I am a child who has no parents. Or maybe you don't like me because I take the love of your parents. I don't know, only Levin's brother knows.

Even though my sister hates me, but I love my sister very much. Maybe I shouldn't have been in my sister's family, but I don't regret ever being part of my sister's family for a while.

Thank you for sharing your affection with me so that I don't feel lonely after my father's departure.

Once again, thank you for all the memories I have during my stay with my sister's family. From now on Levin can live quietly without fear of me bothering you.

I hope that one day we can meet again, even though I know that big brother will definitely not want to see me again, but that's okay, I can understand. I hope you can live happily after my departure. I'm going brother. Goodbye goodbye...

Celine.....

Levin immediately shed tears when he finished reading the letter from Celine. "I'm sorry Celine. Just so you know, I never hated you."

Levin immediately regretted that he had refused to go with Celine yesterday. If only he had come along at least he had final memories with him.

Levin squeezed firmly into the letter he had in his hand while looking straight ahead. "I promise. One day, I will bring you back here again" Levin said solemnly.

Since Celine's departure, Levin has become colder and quieter. He rarely spoke to his parents. He always locked himself in his room. That was the one that made Jeslyn feel sad.

Despite the weight, Dave and Jeslyn try to continue their lives as usual after Celine's departure. Jeslyn is again active in the hospital and Dave takes care of his company.

Gradually, their lives returned to normal as before until their two children were all adults.
