Dave walked to his room. The house was quiet, as if it was uninhabited. As she opened the door to her room, she saw that Jeslyn was sleeping. Dave approached Jeslyn and sat down on the edge of the bed. He looked at his wife's face with guilt. Seen in the corner of his wife's eyes there are traces of tears.

Dave bent his body, then kissed his wife's forehead. “I'm sorry, baby! I'm sorry that I can only give you a wound. Maybe this time I'll be selfish again, I can't just let you go Jeslyn. I love you so much. Please hold on a little more. I'll prove, if the child in Felicia's cage is not my son,” Dave's grunts in a low voice.

He then walked to the bathroom to clean his body. He had just returned from out of town and was heading straight to the hospital after getting from Jeslyn that Felicia had been admitted to the hospital due to fainting.

As Dave exited the bathroom, he saw Jeslyn sitting leaning against the bed staring blankly ahead. Dave comes over to Jeslyn. “Darling, have you eaten?” ask Dave gently.

Jeslyn just kept quiet, she didn't respond to Dave's question. Ever since she found out that Felicia was pregnant. He has no appetite at all. Before Dion drove him home, Dion invited Jeslyn to eat at Jeslyn's favorite restaurant.

She knew that Jeslyn would definitely not eat if she did not force her. When at the restaurant Jeslyn only touch a little food. All he wanted was to quickly go home and go straight to sleep.

Seeing Jeslyn not responding to him, Dave again asked, “Darling are you sick? Why is your face so pale?” dave asked while holding his wife's forehead.

“Dave, you don't have to worry about me anymore. You better take care of your wife and future son.” Jeslyn did not look at Dave for a moment. Every thought that Felicia was pregnant. His heart immediately hurt.

The happiness she had just felt was instantly wiped out, when she heard that Felicia was pregnant with Dave's child. All this time it had never occurred to him that someday Felicia would become pregnant. It's because Dave always convinced him he'd never touch Felicia.

Dave held his wife's hand. He saw Jeslyn throw his gaze to the side. Looks like Jeslyn didn't want to talk to Dave.

Jeslyn looked at Dave coldly. “What if it is proven that the child in Felicia's womb is your child?”

Jeslyn did not know about Dave being drunk when he went to Surabaya. All he had in mind right now was that Dave touched Felicia on his own free will.

Dave hugged his wife's body. “No. This is our home test. I'm sure we can get through it. I beg Jeslyn please wait until I do a DNA test on Felicia's womb,” please Dave while tightly hugging his wife's body.

“Do you know, I already took care of my divorce with Felicia a few days ago before I left town. I deliberately wanted to surprise you when I was done taking care of my divorce with Felicia.” Dave who originally wanted to surprise Jeslyn, now he even got a surprise from Felicia.

When he heard Dave say about his divorce with Felicia, he laughed. The news that should be happy for him we feel in vain. There's no point in Dave talking about it anymore, because Felicia's already pregnant with Dave's child. He will not be able to divorce her until the baby is born.

“Dave, please leave me alone. I don't want to discuss this. I am tired and want rest,” said Jeslyn weak.

“Good. I'll give you time to calm your mind, but please don't avoid me constantly.” Dave kissed Jeslyn's forehead long enough. “I go to the office first. I'll get Zayn to come here later to bring you food.”

Jeslyn was silent. He did not respond to Dave's remarks. Her tears escaped immediately after Dave's departure. “I'm sorry Dave. I know she's your wife, too. She also has the right to carry your child, but my heart cannot accept this Dave.” Jeslyn again shed her tears.

Dave's been stuck in the office till tonight. The work he had left behind during his time outside the city piled up, making him have to overtime until night. After completing some of the work. Dave decided to go home. When we got home, the time showed at 10 p.m.

Dave's forehead frowned when he saw his house looked dark. He thought that Jeslyn must have been asleep until night so he had not turned on the lights. Dave walked in while turning on all the lights inside his house.

He walked upstairs. He took a breath before opening the door to his room. Dave walked in with slow steps. He didn't want to wake Jeslyn. When he turned on the lights. She did not find Jeslyn in her room.

He walked to the bathroom with quick steps. He starts to rile when he does not find the whereabouts of Jeslyn in the bathroom. Dave immediately checked all the rooms in his house one by one, but nil. He also did not discover the whereabouts of Jeslyn.

Dave tries to call Jeslyn's phone, but it's off. Several times he hung up his wife's phone but still could not connect. Dave immediately punched the wall that was nearby.

“Aarrrggghhh,” cried Dave as he ruffled his hair roughly.

Dave decides to contact Zayn. “Zayn's.. Find out now where my wife is!” said Dave full of emphasis. Dave thought that Jeslyn must be so angry with him that he decided to leave the house.

“Good Sir,” sounded Zayn's reply.

“Check all this home CCTV, from 2 months ago to today!” Dave's orders.

“Good Mr.”

“Where are you Jes?” murmured Dave in a low voice. He no longer cared about his hands that were bleeding from hitting the wall.

Dave walked into his study. He stood up and lit a cigarette in his hand. “Wherever you are. I hope you're okay Jes,” murmured Dave as he breathed thick smoke into the air.

He was eager to vent his anxiety by drinking alcohol, but the moment he recalled the incident when he was drunk, made him undo his intentions. He did not want to cause any more trouble because of his carelessness.

After finishing his cigarette. Dave walked into his room. He cleansed his body and threw himself into the bed. He hugged tightly the bolster that his wife used to use. Fragrant Jeslyn's body is still attached to the bolster.

“I miss you so much Jes. Where are you now?” said Dave lirih. “Repace back. I'd go crazy until you left me. I beg you to return Jeslyn.”
