Second Marriage

Jeslyn and Dion took about 45 minutes to get to Dave's wedding venue. Arriving at his destination, Jeslyn hooked her hand on Dion's arm.

With a faint smile, he entered the ballrom room confidently. He does not want to look sad in the eyes of Dave and his family, especially in the eyes of Felicia, Dave's second wife.

Jeslyn and Dion did not immediately approach the happy couple who had officially become newlyweds. The newly legal couple became husband and wife was seen being busy talking to important guests Dave's mother.

Jeslyn chose to find an empty seat while enjoying the food and chatting with Dion. They look very familiar. Some guests who had come had noticed Jeslyn from a distance without realizing it.

Jeslyn and Dion decide to approach Dave and Felicia after seeing no more guests approaching them.

“Dave, Felicia, congratulations on your wedding. I pray that your household trip will always be happy and soon get offspring.” said Jeslyn without extending his hand.

Dave stared intently at Jeslyn's hand holding Dion's arm. A few seconds later his gaze turned to Dion.

“Thank you Jeslyn for coming to our happy marriage,” Felicia said softly as she watched Dave seem silent. He displays a big smile on Jeslyn while holding Dave's arm.

Dave who felt uncomfortable immediately shook Felicia's hand. He then turned to look at Dion. “Do you know who this woman beside you is?” asked Dave with a look of disdain.

“Of course I know. I know him more than anyone,” replied Dion steady.

Dion knows that Dave wants to tell her that Jeslyn belongs to someone else. Dave also seemed to blatantly show his dislike for him.

Dave pursed his lips. “Really? Looks like you're pretty sure. Did you know that she belongs to someone?”

Jeslyn stared intently at her husband. “Dave enough!” jeslyn said in a high tone.

Dion gently rubbed Jeslyn's hand on her arm, trying to calm down Jeslyn who looked angry.

“Mr Dave, you don't have to worry about him. You better watch your beautiful wife,” said Dion with a smile.

Dion then advances his body and whispers to Dave. “You've wasted Jeslyn, so from now on I'll take it from you.”

Dion keeps his body away from Dave and smiles cynically. No one heard Dion's whisper, other than Dave.

“We'll excuse you Mr. Dave. We had to meet our friend there,” said Dion politely.

Dave seemed to clench his hands after seeing Jeslyn and Dion leave. He was shocked when he heard Dion's words. Dave guessed that Dion already knew about his relationship with Jeslyn, so he told her that.

After Jeslyn and Dion approach him to the pelamine, Dave's gaze never leaves Jeslyn. He always looked at Jeslyn from a distance. If only it wasn't her wedding. He must have caught up with Jeslyn and made the calculations with Dion.

During the event Dave seemed to never smile at all. Only Felicia looked so happy. Of course he's happy, marrying Dave was his dream for a long time.

When Dion went to the toilet, Jeslyn looked for a seat in the corner of the room. Without Jeslyn noticing that Dave was walking towards her. With a quick gesture, Dave pulled Jeslyn's hand away from the party venue. The surprised Jeslyn tries to let go of her hand, but can't. Dave's energy is bigger than his.

“Dave let me go. Aren't you afraid that someone will see?” cry Jeslyn because Dave just keeps walking towards his room and won't let go of Jeslyn's hand.

“I don't care.” Dave opened the door to his room and threw him on the bed. “So you already have a relationship with that man?” asked Dave with a face filled with anger. His face darkened, his jaw hardened and his body gave off a terrifying aura.

Jeslyn got up and sat on the edge of the bed. “We're just friends with Dave,” explains Jeslyn slowly. He was afraid to see Dave's current expression.

“Have you told him about our relationship?”

Jeslyn shook her head. “No Dave, no one knows except you and your family.”

“Then why would he know about our relationship? He even dared to say he wanted to snatch you from me.”

“He couldn't possibly know, Dave. I never told him. If he knew, he would have asked me first. He can't just shut up.”

Dave approached Jeslyn with a sharp eye. “Listen to Jeslyn, I will make her disabled if she dares to snatch you from me. I warn you, stay away from him or I'll make him feel the consequences. Don't you dare test my patience!”

“I don't like you being close to him. I'd rather no more if anyone had any intention of seizing what was already mine."

Jeslyn tries to explain to Dave carefully so that he understands. “Dave you misunderstood. We have no relationship. We are just friends.”

“You think I didn't know that man liked you? Jeslyn, I told you, I will never let you go. You are mine, forever will remain mine.”

Dave's words provoked Jeslyn's annoyance. “You don't forget Dave, I signed the letter, which means you had to divorce me when Felicia gave birth to you.”

Dave grinning. “You can't be sure yet. Not necessarily Felicia can give me a child. If he can't, then you'll have to give me a descendant so I can divorce Felicia later.”

Jeslyn looked at Dave with a confused face. “What's your max, Dave?”

“I mean that you should be my wife forever. Never dream of being able to escape me.”

“Dave don't play me. You promised to divorce me later.”

“We'll see later, if you can get away from me.”

As the atmosphere warmed up, Jeslyn then said, “Dave better get you back down. Your mother and wife must be freaking out looking for you. We can talk next time,” Jeslyn said as he stood up. She tried to stop their debate because she did not want to cause new problems again during her husband's marriage.

“You can't go anywhere. You should stay here. If until you step out of here and go home with the man, believe it or not I will make him disabled for life,” Dave threatened with a face full of anger.

“If you are not comfortable with your current clothes, replace your dress with my clothes that are in the closet. I'll be right back,” Dave said before he closed the door.

After he finished speaking, he walked out without waiting for a reply from his wife. Jeslyn calls Dion and tells him to go home alone. He apologized to Dion for not being able to go home with him.

Jeslyn reasoned that he had a sudden affair so had to leave immediately. He was forced to do that because he did not dare to refute Dave's words and was forced to obey his words.

Jeslyn just doesn't want to make a fuss with Dave on his wedding day. After he finished calling Dion, he decided to take a shower and change his clothes with Dave's clothes in the closet. After taking a shower, he put on the clothes he had taken earlier.

He deliberately chose Dave's large clothes to wear. The length of Dave's shirt worn by Jeslyn reached above the knee, at least his thighs were covered by clothes because he only wore inside. He couldn't possibly wear Dave's shorts because of his size.

Jeslyn decided to lay her body on the bed and directly covered her body with a blanket so that her lower half was not exposed.

After the wedding, Dave is seen walking into his room alone. He prefers to return to his room rather than to the bridal room that has been prepared by the hotel for the newlyweds.

While in the other room, Felicia is visibly upset when Dave is unwilling to sleep with her on their first night. Felicia tried to think positively. Maybe Dave was tired and needed enough rest so that Dave chose to sleep alone so that nothing would bother him. Felicia doesn't know that there's Jeslyn in Dave's room right now.

Dave who had just entered his room, slowly walked to the bed and looked at the face of Jeslyn who seemed to have fallen asleep. He then took off his upper clothes and walked into the bathroom.

There was the sound of water gurgling from the bathroom. Dave decided to take a bath to keep his body fresh. He was very tired today because he had to welcome many invited guests earlier.

After bathing and changing into clothes Dave seemed to dry his hair while walking towards the glass wall overlooking the view of the capital. Dave seemed to be calling someone, not long after he ended it.

Dave pensively steps onto the bed and carefully climbs the bed. “Jeslyn have you slept?” dave asked as he held onto Jeslyn's shoulder and shook it slowly.

Jeslyn did not seem to move. “Jeslyn,” call Dave again. With no answer, Dave decides to lay down his body next to his wife.

Dave tried to close his eyes. Drowsiness and fatigue suddenly disappear. Maybe it was because she had just finished her bath so her eyes were fresh again. Dave grabbed his phone when he heard a message coming in.

He looked lazy when he learned of the message coming from Felicia. Felicia still asks Dave to sleep with her in the bridal room. Felicia said she was afraid to sleep alone.

Dave decides to turn off his phone so Felicia doesn't call him again. Dave decided to go to bed. Dave slept sideways facing Jeslyn's back, then shifted his body closer to Jeslyn then hugged her from behind.
