“Dave, where have you been?” felicia asked when she saw her husband had just arrived with Jeslyn and was carrying a suitcase that belonged to Jeslyn.

Dave and Jeslyn stop their steps as Felicia approaches them both. “I'm tired Fel, get out of the way.”

“Dave, I'm worried about you. You left without telling me. You didn't give me any news either. You think of me as your wife, no?”

Felicia put on her face when she saw Dave's indifferent face. As long as Dave is in Surabaya. He never returned a reply and picked up the phone from Felicia.

Dave looked at Felicia with a tired face. "I went to accompany Jeslyn to work."

"Dave, he's not a kid you have to go with where he's going." Felicia had actually suspected from the beginning that Dave was going with Jeslyn.

"That's up to me. I want to spend some time alone with Jeslyn. I can't be far from her." Dave was being lazy to respond to Felicia's rant. He knew that Felicia was deliberately looking for trouble with Jeslyn.

Jeslyn glanced at Dave's serene-looking glance while talking to Felicia. "I'm also your wife Dave. Why don't you ever ask me to go alone with you? We haven't even been on a honeymoon since we got married."

“Fel, I don't want to argue with you. We'll talk later.” Dave walked straight to his room along with Jeslyn.

Felicia stared intently at Jeslyn and Dave. He felt angry at being ignored by Dave. “Awas you Jeslyn. I'll make a calculation with you because it made Dave ignore me!” Felicia left the house.

Dave put Jeslyn's suitcase near the closet. “Don't mind me. Nothing has changed between us. We'll be back as we used to be.” Dave picked up a shirt and walked to the door.

“Dave wait!” Jeslyn approached Dave who was already holding the doorknob. “Are you still mad at me?”

Dave looked a little. “I'm not angry. I just don't want to make you uncomfortable if it's near me.” Dave is trying to control his emotions from now on.

He doesn't want to hurt Jeslyn's day anymore.

“Jeslyn, whatever I'm going to do, you don't have to care about me anymore. I won't interfere in your business either. As long as you are my wife, I will remain responsible as your husband. You can say anything if you need something.”

“Dave, I'm sorry Dave. I don't want our relationship to be as tenuous as it used to be.”

For a moment she felt happy when Dave expressed his feelings for her. He felt very happy, but when he saw Dave's attitude change again made his heart hurt.

Dave turned his body. “Jeslyn, I don't think you understand me yet. You still doubt me, too. I think you should know how you feel about me. Think carefully about what steps you will take next. Don't waste your time if you can't accept me. You'll lose yourself later” Dave turns around again and opens the door. “Mandilah after that rest. I won't bother you anymore.” Dave then closed the door. He walked to the next room to take a shower.

Jeslyn pensively. He walked to the bathroom to clean his body. After finishing the bath Jeslyn walked to the bed. He sat down while pensive. The shadow of Dave's disappointed face flashed through his mind. There was an uncomfortable feeling when he saw the look in Dave's eyes when he looked at him earlier.

Dave walked into Felicia's room after she finished taking a shower. As he entered, he did not find Felicia's figure inside the room. Dave looks for Felicia in the bathroom, but doesn't find the figure he's looking for.

Dave's steps stopped at the bedside. He felt a little dizzy because he had not slept from last night. He's trying to find a cure in the nightstand drawer. Dave's eyes were fixed on the foreign object in the first drawer. Dave took it and looked at it carefully. After confirming it, he placed it again to where it came from.

Deve tried looking into the other drawer but did not find it either. He walked outside towards the empty room right next to his room and Jeslyn. He decided to rest for a while. Dave walked to the bed and laid down his body on the bed and closed his eyes.

“Dave, why are you sleeping here?”

Jeslyn wakes up Dave who is still asleep until nightfall. He accidentally found Dave in the room while he was looking for his practice equipment. Jeslyn had indeed placed some of his equipment inside that empty room.

Dave opened his eyes. “Why don't you sleep in the room?” jeslyn asked again when she saw Dave wake up from his sleep.

“I don't want to bother you.” Dave sat down while holding his neck that felt sore.

“Dave, eat. It's already night.”

Jeslyn had also been hungry since the day before. He hasn't eaten anything yet. He also doesn't see Dave wandering around the house. He thinks Dave must have fallen asleep from noon.

Jeslyn stared at the closed door. Seeing Dave's cold demeanor caused pain in his heart. He then walked out of the room as well following Dave's steps.

Jeslyn's steps stop when he sees Dave being with Felicia. He decided not to follow Dave. He was just standing behind the wall near the living room.

“Dave, mama called you to come there with me.” Felicia approached Dave who was walking towards her.

“Have you complained to my mama?” Dave walked to the couch in the living room and sat down.

Felicia followed Dave's steps and sat down beside him. “I didn't say anything Dave. Mama said she couldn't contact you these few days, so she asked you to come.”

Dave kept his body away from Felicia. “Say I can't come. I'm busy.”

“Dave, mom will be mad if you don't come tomorrow with me. There's no harm in going there. We haven't visited your parents in a long time.“ Felicia tries to persuade Dave to come with her tomorrow.

Dave turned on the television in front of him. He didn't want to hear Felicia's ramble that gave him a headache. “Did mama ask Jeslyn to come too?”

Felicia glanced at Dave who was sitting beside her. “No, he just asked you and me to come.” Felicia doesn't like it when Dave mentions Jeslyn.

“I won't come if Jeslyn doesn't come.” Dave knew that his mom and Felicia must have planned something for him.

“Dave, didn't you go with that woman? Can't we spend time together without being bothered by it!”

Felicia could no longer control her anger when she heard her husband's words. He felt that Dave loved Jeslyn more than he did.

“Fel, call his name correctly!” said Dave in a high tone.

“Dave, you went with him without telling me. You even ignored me as long as you went with her. Don't you think about my feelings? I want to be treated like Jeslyn. Why is he in your heart? I am also your wife Dave,” Felicia said angrily.

Dave looked at Felicia. “From the beginning I did not agree to marry you. I told you I can't love you like Fel.” used to

Before deciding to accept his marriage to Felicia, Dave once came to Felicia to negotiate with him, so that he canceled their wedding plans.

Dave thinks Felicia canceled it, his mother won't force him to marry Felicia again, but in fact his request was rejected directly by Felicia.

“I just want you to be fair to us Dave. All this time I've been quiet because of your unfair treatment of me. You've always defended her, put her first, you've always slept with her, loved her more. If you can't make it fair to us. I'm gonna get rid of him my way Dave. Don't piss me off.” Felicia was already feeling very upset with Dave.

“I'll divorce you right away if you dare to touch Jeslyn. I don't care even if my mama strongly opposes my decision, so don't cross your line Fel!” Dave stared intently at Felicia.

Felicia stand. “Dave you won't be able to divorce me! I'll make sure that I'll be the only wife in this house!”

Felicia leaves Dave with a reddened face due to emotion. He walked to his room. Dave rubbed his face rough after Felicia's departure.

Jeslyn was hiding behind a large urn when Felicia melwati was standing. After making sure Felicia was out of sight, she approached Dave.

“Dave, I have prepared dinner for us,” Jeslyn said when she saw Dave looking down looking down while holding his back head with both hands.

Dave then raised his head. “Jes, can you come to my mom's house tomorrow?" ask Dave in a soft voice. "If you can't I won't force you" Dave continued when he saw Jeslyn speechless.

Jeslyn was a little surprised when she heard Dave take her to his parents' place. Because all he heard earlier, only Dave and Felicia were asked to go there. “Can, what time?”

Although Jeslyn knew that she would be humiliated by her mother-in-law and Felicia, she still wanted to come there to accompany Dave. He knew that Felicia must have had bad intentions for Dave. Watching as Olivia opposes him to come along with Dave.

"I'll pick you up after work."

Jeslyn nodded. "All right."
