Insult

After Dave's departure. Jeslyn took off her bedsheet. “Come in,” Jeslyn said when he heard the knocking sound of the door.

“Excuse me Madam, I was asked by Mr. Dave to clean this room Mistress.”

“Sign in, Ran,” Jeslyn said when she saw Rani standing at the door.

Rani is a 22-year-old girl who works as a waitress at Dave's house, replacing her retired mother. In Dave's parents' mansion there are many servants who have different tasks.

Rani walked closer. “Sorry to interrupt, Mistress.” Rani feels awkward because Jeslyn is there when she's going to clean Dave's room.

“Ran, how is your mother?” Jeslyn did know Rani's mother because her mother had worked with Dave's family when she was a girl.

“Good, Mistress.” Rani is a little shy and doesn't talk much.

Rani takes 30 minutes to tidy up and clean up Dave's entire room. Don't forget he also changed the new sheets.

“Is there anything I can do to help Madam?” rani asked when she had finished all her work.

“No Ran, thank ya?” jeslyn said softly.

Rani slightly bowed. “Sama-sama Sonya, I'll excuse you first.” Rani then walks out of Dave's room.

Jeslyn walked to the bed after the door closed. He felt his entire body still ached all over, especially his lower half. He was also sleepy due to lack of sleep. Dave didn't give her enough rest so it made her feel very tired.

He then slowly sank his body and began to close his eyes. There was a call coming in on his phone. Jeslyn opened her eyes again, then grabbed her phone. Jeslyn smiled when she saw the name on her phone screen.

He immediately lifted it. “Halo Dave, what's up?” jeslyn asked when she had just answered her husband's phone.

“What are you doing, baby?” Dave's voice was on the phone there.

“I just wanted to sleep.” Jeslyn was planning to sleep first to gather his strength back. He also felt unwell from being too tired and sleep deprived.

“I'm sorry dear for bothering you.” Dave felt guilty immediately. He knows that Jeslyn must have been tired last night.

“It's okay Dave. Why did you suddenly call me?”

Jeslyn was just astonished when Dave suddenly called her. During his marriage Dave never contacted him if there was no urgent and important business.

“I miss you dear.” Jeslyn smiled as she heard Dave's words. Dave's gentle demeanor pleased him.

“We just met Dave.”

“Iyaa, I still miss you. Don't you miss me?” ask Dave curious.

“It turns out you don't miss me,” Dave said when he didn't hear any answers from Jeslyn. There was a disappointed tone in Dave's words.

“I miss you too Dave. Hurry home" said Jeslyn slowly.

Jeslyn is actually not used to being sweet to Dave, let alone his attitude that changes after they have had a long night.

“Sleep baby. I'll be back to work.” Dave did not want to interrupt his wife's break time anymore, so he wanted to end his phone call immediately.

“Iyaa Dave, you don't forget lunch.”

“Iyaa darling,” says Dave happy. “Oyaa.. Are mom and Felicia bothering you?”

Dave suddenly remembered his mother and his second wife. Before he left the office he had already warned them not to look up to Jeslyn. Dave says that Jeslyn is sick and should not be bothered by anyone.

“No Dave, only Rani came to clean your room earlier.”

“Our dear room It has become your room as well.” The room that Jeslyn was occupying now was Dave's room when he was still living with his parents. Jeslyn smiled after hearing her husband's words.

“Then rest.”

“Iyaa Dave,” replied Jeslyn briefly.

Jeslyn puts his phone back on the nightstand after Dave ends his phone call. He turned back his body while closing his eyes.

“Jeslyn woke up,” squealed Felicia when she saw Jeslyn was asleep without realizing her whereabouts.

Jeslyn opened her eyes when she heard Felicia's loud voice. She saw Felicia and her mother-in-law were staring cynically at her.

Jeslyn looked at the wall clock. Time shows at 3pm. He's been sleeping for 2 hours. “I'm just not feeling well, Ma.” Jeslyn deliberately did not tell the truth.

Westi looked at Jeslyn's neck. His eyes stared intently at Jeslyn when he saw the many red marks on his neck.

“Don't I tell you, let Dave sleep in Felicia's room, but why did you let Dave into your room last night?”

Westi gets angry when Felicia says that their plan failed, especially after hearing that Dave went to Jeslyn's room.

“Maa, Dave himself came to my room. I was forced to let him in because Dave wasn't in good shape, Ma.”

Jeslyn accidentally tells her mother-in-law about Felicia giving Dave the medicine. Jeslyn wanted to see if her mother-in-law knew about the drug.

“I was also surprised, why Dave could take stimulants overnight. I wonder who put the drug in Dave's drink?” Jeslyn deliberately said that to see her mother-in-law's reaction.

“What do you mean say that? Are you accusing us of putting the drug in Dave's drink?” Dave's mother's anger was immediately provoked when she heard Jeslyn's words.

Jeslyn's conjecture grew stronger when she saw her mother-in-law's reaction. He could immediately guess that his mother-in-law knew about the medicine. Jeslyn thinks that her mother-in-law must have been involved in framing Dave.

“No Ma, I was just wondering why Dave came to my room in such a state.”

“You should have kicked Dave out to get him back in Felicia's room.” Dave's mother still doesn't accept because her plan failed miserably.

“Ma, Dave is my husband. I can't possibly kick my husband out on my own, especially when he needs me.”

“Heeh, Jeslyn. You should be glazed. You can't give Dave a son. Why do you always sleep with Dave. Look at you now. You're like****** that sold out. Disgusting once.”

Jeslyn got off the bed and walked over to Felicia in slow steps. “Fel, watch your words. You can't insult me at will just because mom always defends you,” Jeslyn said with a dead red face. His anger began to be provoked when he heard Felicia's insults.

“You should be thinking, why would Dave sleep with me instead of you? Is there something wrong with you? If I were Dave, I'd be sick of your attitude, too. You can only blame others for your helplessness melted Dave.”'s heart

“Kaauuu, how dare you say that to me!” felicia was angry.

“You have insulted me, why should I just shut up?” Jeslyn decides to fight Felicia despite her mother-in-law in front of her. He was already emotional because Felicia had insulted him.

“Felicia, you are just a spoiled girl who can only insult and demean others. There is nothing to be proud of you.”

“How dare you insult me,” Felicia said with reddened eyes. “Plaaakkk.” Felicia slaps Jeslyn.

“Felicia! How dare you slap my wife!” Dave's voice was heard from behind.

Dave immediately pulled Felicia's hand away from Jeslyn. “Dave, Felicia is also your wife." Dave's mother was also no less angry when she saw her favorite son-in-law yelled at by Dave just for defending his first wife.

“Do not interfere Ma” Dave stared angrily at his mother. He went straight to Jeslyn, then looked down and held onto Jeslyn's cheek which had been slapped by Felicia earlier. “You all right?” ask Dave gently.

Jeslyn nodded. “I'm fine Dave.”

Dave grabbed Jeslyn by the waist and looked at his second wife. “Felicia, apologize to Jeslyn,” Dave's orders with an angry face.

“I don't want to! He's been insulting me, Dave.”

“You don't have to slap him, Fel.” Dave steady sharp on Felicia. “Apologies now!!”

“Dave, why do you always defend Jeslyn? You can't choose me!” Dave's mother doesn't accept it because Dave's always siding with Jeslyn.

“Then why did you shut up when Felicia slapped Jeslyn. Mama rebuked him, not even defended him!” say Dave emotion.

"He was wrong. He insulted Felicia," Westi said indifferently.

"Ma, don't you think I didn't hear all of your words from the beginning. I was purposely silent because I wanted to know how you treated Jeslyn when I wasn't around."

"You. How dare you frame me Do you deliberately want to embarrass me in front of this woman?" point at Westi with a reddened face.

"Ma, I warned you before. Never bother Jeslyn. It seems that Mama doesn't understand either." Dave looked at his mother and Felicia alternately.

"I warn you again. Don't ever bother and hurt Jeslyn again. If this happens again. I won't stay silent" Dave said with a sharp look. "I'll divorce you Felb if you dare touch Jeslyn again."

Felicia instantly turned pale, while Westi was just silent. He did not dare to open his mouth again.

"Now apologize to Jeslyn," urged Dave. Felicia seemed silent. "Felicia, didn't you hear what I said? Apologize right now to Jeslyn!" dave's orders on a high note
