Chapter 12: The Totality of a Laura

Arsenio felt toyed with by the answer from the male doctor. He did eventually say there was no relationship with Laura, but before that he asked her questions as if mocking his disbelief in his wife.

Now they both sit on the sofa in her mother's room. Arsenio glanced at his wife as if wanting to ask her something.

Laura's phone rings. She gets a call from her assistant director who says that filming is going to take place soon, so Laura is asked by her director to come soon.

"Mas, I have to go back to the office" Laura said as she moved from her seat to her bag.

Arsenio frowned and looked towards the clock that was coiled in her right hand. Then he said,

"It's been over the clock."

Laura breathed back. She still saw doubt from her husband's eyes.

"Mas, I really work. Today filming was cancelled because the artist could not attend. That's why I can take mom to the hospital and wait for her most of the day. And now the artist can come. Filming will begin in a moment. I had to leave immediately" Laura said before she left the room despite not hearing what had come out of her husband.

Arsenio saw her mother sleeping soundly. He immediately came out of the room and left his mother to the nurse on guard.

He ran to chase after his wife. Intentions he will drive his wife, unfortunately Arsenio saw Laura had entered the taxi.

He immediately headed to his car and drove it to catch up with his wife. He deliberately followed her to find out her current purpose.

Suspicious? Right, he still had a little bit of suspicion on his wife. That's why he's finding out the truth.

Arsenio sighed with a smile of relief after seeing the taxi his wife was riding stopped in front of the office of a private television station which was his wife's workplace and she saw Laura enter the building.

He drove his car back to the hospital to accompany his mother.

It turned out that the doctor suggested that Arsenio rest at home only because her mother could still be handled by nurses there.

Arsenio agreed to the doctor's advice. She informs Laura that she is at home and advises her mother of the doctor.

At his home Arsenio waited for his wife while watching the television broadcast. Many times he saw a clock hanging on the wall. He also saw his cell phone.

"Why doesn't he come home? What the hell is he doing? Why didn't he call me?" asked Arsenio who was worried about his wife.

Now what is usually felt by Laura, also felt by Arsenio. Had Laura known, she would have laughed at Arsenio and told her how she felt.

It wasn't long before Laura went into the house. With his cool pretentious style, Arsenio tried to look indifferent to his wife.

Laura who had just entered the house looked very exhausted. His body was very limp and seemed to be walking as if it was running out of energy.

"I took a bath first Mas, sultry," said Laura as she passed her husband.

Arsenio sighed looking at his wife who seemed to ignore him. In his heart he said,

Why is it like this? Why is our relationship back bland? But... is it true that he doesn't have another man out there? I guess I should be careful too.

Arsenio went into his room to rest immediately so that his mind would not get worse on his wife.

I heard water gurgling from the bathroom. Arsenio laid her body on the bed and put on her blanket. When there was no sound of water, Arsenio prepared to sit by leaning on the back of the bed while playing her phone.

Suddenly the bathroom door opened. Hearing the sound of the door opening, Arsenio slightly glanced towards the bathroom door. He saw his wife's feet walking towards him.

Arsenio is getting so cute. He's engrossed in his cell phone.

Suddenly Arsenio's eyes widened when she saw his wife already sitting on his lap. How not, now Laura is smiling sweetly by winking one eye to tease her husband. 

Lingerie that lacy and only covers the core of Laura's body makes Arsenio's eyes locked and reluctant to look in the other direction.

Laura's hands began to explore her husband's body. Her hands moved from her husband's face to other parts that made Arsenio overwhelmed to maintain her indifference.

Without delay, Arsenio welcomed his wife's treatment by doing the same to her.

Tonight they returned to hot activities that made Arsenio smile satisfied with his wife's treatment.

The next day they returned with their own activities. Laura feels that her work lately is getting tired of her. Moreover, he had to carry out a mission that was very draining of his time and energy.

The notification sound of a message from Laura's phone made her stunned from her fleeting daydreams about her life.

He took the cell phone in his pocket and read it. His lips curved upwards looking at the nominal number that entered his account. He returned successfully to his mission.

"Twelve million rupiah? Is this really the money I got from yesterday's mission?" murmured Laura with sparkling eyes.

Now Laura solidified her heart to be more enthusiastic about running her days which of course with many missions waiting for her.

"Come on Laura, spirit! You can!" laura said softly as she clenched her hands and placed in front of her chest to encourage herself.

In the spirit of her four limes, Laura walked out of the dressing room towards the studio that was their filming place this time.

After hours, filming this time was over. Tired, of course. But he should be able to maintain his appearance and mood so as not to look tired by others.

"Laura, this is the script for the next show. This time the star is a member of a girl band, so you should be able to dance with them. In the script there is a list of songs that they will show. You have to be able to compensate" said Anto who gave the script to Laura.

Laura was flabbergasted to hear what the director had told her.

He did not think that in his thirty-two years, he had to dance in the style of a girl band with their hits.

Suddenly Anto came back to Laura and said,

"You should try well because your performance is getting worse. You are often late and there are many reasons for this and that permission. You need to remember Laura, there are still many young presenters who are beautiful and energetic ready to replace your position."

After saying that, Anto the director left Laura who was still in her place.

"It seems I can't rest now. I have to practice right now," Laura muttered with a bitter smile.

Laura is now in the dance studio with a good choreographer ready to help her.

Laura's beginning of the exercise was overwhelmed and wanted to give up. He had to remember the dance moves and had to adjust to the tempo.

For hours he did the exercise so he felt his strength getting weaker. Until he asked for time to rest.

Seeing Laura who looked very tired, the choreographer who trained her also gave her time to rest.

Suddenly in front of him again seen floating panels that he used to meet.

Laura sighed to her who was still slightly panting while saying in her heart,
