Chapter 80: Laura's Decision

"Honey, I–"

"Go! Go!" laura exclaimed with hysterics and her heart-wrenching cries.

Hearing Laura's hysterical and heartbreaking cry, Ryan immediately approached Arsenio and said,

"You better get out of here. It's not good for Laura if she cries like this. You better talk about it tomorrow after Laura calms down."

With a heavy heart Arsenio left the room. He looked at his wife with a guilty feeling and a look that expressed his apology. Even the steps are very heavy to get out of the room.

He hugged his wife and begged her for forgiveness. Unfortunately he can't do it right now. 

With a confident step of hers Kessy smiled at Laura and walked following Arsenio out of the room.

Laura was sobbing even though her husband had come out of the room. He felt heartache over the loss of the baby in his womb. Moreover, the shadow of her husband's affair with Kessy that they did in their room made her even more hurt.

"Laura, stop crying. Not good for your current situation. If you can't stand it, let it go so as not to hurt yourself. And if you want revenge, revenge is in an elegant way" Ryan told Laura, who was listening to her between sobs.

Laura was silent thinking of Ryan's words. In his heart he said,

It may be true what Mr. Ryan said, I must let go if I can't bear this pain anymore. But I have to finish my mission so I can get away from it.

Suddenly something came to his mind. He looked at Ryan hesitantly. But what he needs is more urgent. With hesitation and fear Laura said,

"Sir, can I borrow money from you or the company?" 

"Borrow money?" ryan asked with his forehead the money frowning.

"I-iya Sir. I want to borrow a lot of money. It doesn't matter that I'm going to be working for the company for a very long time to be able to pay for it. I just wanted to be able to quickly redeem the house and change the name of the ownership of the house into my home" Laura replied in a stifled voice and her trembling lips held back her cries.

Ryan sat sideways on Laura's bed and stared intensely at her. Then he said,

"debt? A home? What's the matter, actually?" 

Actually Ryan already knew everything from the person he was assigned to find out about Laura and Arsenio. From what he knew, he grew compassionate and sympathetic towards Laura.

Laura rubbed the remains of her tears which she with all her might held back. Then he inhaled a deep breath of air and took it out slowly. After feeling somewhat calm, she answered the question Ryan had given her.

"My husband has a large amount of debt in a bank and he gave our house certificate to the bank as a guarantee of his debt. Unfortunately, he still can't pay. Now I want to be able to redeem the house back and transfer the ownership of the house to my own so that if we part later, it will be mine, according to our agreement at that time."

Unknowingly, Ryan's hand rubbed gently the tears that were dripping on Laura's cheek when telling her some of the problems she was facing.

"I am not strong, sir. Please help me to escape the suffering I have long endured" Laura said with trembling lips and teary eyes staring at Ryan who was also staring at her.

"How much money do you have to pay in the bank?" ryan asked seriously as he stared intensely at Laura's bead eyes.

"Does that mean you want to lend me money to redeem the house?" laura asked with tears of her happiness.

Ryan smiled and nodded his head as he said,

"Really Sir?" laura asked as if she could not believe what she had heard.

"really. And I will help you to take care of the others if you really need my help. It might be a divorce matter for example," Ryan replied while chuckling so that Laura would no longer be sad.

Laura smiled faintly at the word divorce. Then he said,

"Divorce. Actually, I have wanted to say that for a long time. It's just that there are situations that require me to be able to maintain our household. Unfortunately the more I came here I felt that my efforts and sacrifices felt very futile. Maybe with a miscarriage this is a sign if I am getting tired. That means I have to give up and let go of everything to start a new life that might just be the beginning of my happiness."

Ryan smiled at the words of Laura who was still optimistic like Laura who he knew.

"Is that all I need to help you with?" ask Ryan back.

Laura smiled in a cheery face that described her sadness. He nodded his head and said,

"Yes Sir. Please help me."

"good. I'll help you. If anyone else needs my help, don't hesitate to ask for it, because you're a very valuable person to me" Ryan said as he reached into his pants pocket to retrieve his phone.

Ryan's words made Laura better. She heard that she was precious, that was what she wanted to hear from her husband's mouth. Unfortunately she heard that sentence from someone else, not from her husband.

"Thank you Sir. And I'm sorry if I didn't say that he was my husband when you decided to work with him" Laura said with regret.

"Calm down Laura, I know all that. I'll take care of everything. You should just focus on your recovery so that you can recover quickly and can repay their actions to you," Ryan said with a sweet smile to him.

Ryan calls someone from his phone and tells Laura what she wants to do with the person Ryan has assigned her to take care of.

Laura sighed and she said in her heart,

Maybe it's time I got everything sorted out. I'm going to end this and start my new life without the burdens I've felt.

In Kessy's car, Arsenio was very frustrated. He grabbed her hair and hit her on the head as a form of regret.

"Basic fool.... fool…! Because you are the child you had hoped to die without you knowing his presence. Stupid... You stupid Arsenio…! Maybe this is why he is sad and leaves us" Arsenio said between sobs of tears accompanied his regret.

 "Have no sorrow, dear. If you want a child's presence, I can give it to you. I'm not like your wife who is very difficult to get pregnant" said Kessy as she gently rubbed the arm of Arsenio sitting next to her.

Suddenly there was a phone ringing from Arsenio's phone. Soon he took the phone out of his pocket.

"Hospital?" chirps Arsenio when she sees the hospital number that used to contact her to tell her mother's condition.

Without waiting for long, he immediately picked up the phone call.

"Hello" said Arsenio as she picked up the phone.

"What's wrong with my mom?" arsenio asked in panic.
