Chapter 54: Feeling lost

Even in the morning say hello. Laura slept too well to realize that her husband was sleeping behind her. 

Laura immediately got out of bed without waking her husband up first. He rushed into the bathroom to get ready for work.

Coming out of the bathroom, she looked at her husband who was still sleeping soundly. He sighed feeling an overwhelming fatigue on him. I don't know why he felt so tired and so unwell a few days ago.

However, he could only endure it. He could not cope with his current state. The debts of her mother and her husband always put her under pressure, so she should be eager to work.

"Mas. It's noon. I went to work first" said Laura, shaking her husband's body.

"Well, what time is it?" arsenio asked with a voice that sounded hoarse after waking up.

Laura walked away from her husband who was still sitting while yawning and rubbing his eyes. He took his bag and said,

"I'm leaving first. Take a shower and I'll prepare breakfast."

Arsenio immediately got down from her bed and said,

"Wait me. We had breakfast together. I'll take a quick shower."

"Can't Mas. I'll be late later. I'm leaving now" said Laura as she hurriedly walked out of her room.

With a quick movement Laura prepared her husband's breakfast. She only made peanut butter chocolate bread for her husband. And bring it to himself as an edible provision in his office.

Arsenio rushed to take a shower, hoping to have breakfast with his wife. He hastened all his movements. Even in a matter of minutes, he could complete all his morning activities.

Unfortunately, all is in vain. Laura has gone to work. He left only a few loaves of bread that had been smeared with jam by him.

 "Darling, honey, I'm ready. Let's eat" exclaimed Arsenio who walked out of her room.

He stared at the room with no sign of his wife. Then his eyes were fixed on the plate containing Laura's bread.

He let out a breath that felt heavy smothering his chest. Now he could feel the pain felt by his wife.

Sit him in the chair he usually sits in. In front of the plate. He stared at the breadcrumbs as if he could not bear to eat them.

"It feels weird. Not as good as usual. Is it because I eat alone?" arsenio said while sighing.

He put down the bread that he only ate half of it. There was no coffee or tea prepared by his wife.

He sighed again, lamenting the life he had recently lived. Get out of the chair and walk to the fridge. 

He took UHT milk in the fridge. He turned his head back towards his remaining bread on his plate. Then he turned to look at the UHT milk tetra pack packaging in his hand.

He also breathed back. His breath was hinting at his current disappointment.

"I should have had coffee this early. Why do you drink cold UHT Milk now? Since when has everything changed? Even my wife always leaves me to go first" Arsenio grumbled as she poured milk in her glass.

After drinking the UHT milk in his glass, Arsenio put the glass on the dining table next to his plate. Because of his bad taste, he did not clean up his food. The remaining glass and plates of bread were left on the dining table.

The door of his house was closed very hard. It was as if he was venting his frustration at the door.

"Ah I forgot. The door's not locked. I need to lock the door first. It could be bad if someone comes in. Even worse if Laura comes home first. It could hit me," said Arsenio who was near his car, now he walked back to the door to lock the door.

After making sure the door was locked, Arsenio rushed into his car and drove the car to his office.

Slender. In just a few days Laura was busy with her work, she felt a deep loneliness. Without realizing it, he had felt what Laura felt long ago, since he was too busy with his work to forget his wife who always waited for him to just eat dinner together.

Only at night can they meet and feel their moment together. It's just that, often missed by Arsenio with many reasons that demand Laura to be able to understand him.

Now it seems like it has been reciprocated. Arsenio had sensed it. Unfortunately, he was suspicious of his wife. In contrast to Laura who did not suspect her husband at all before she met Rena and Kessy.

Arriving at his office, Arsenio immediately tracks down his wife's whereabouts. He breathed a sigh of relief getting his wife in his office.

However, moments later, the ringing of his phone disturbed his concentration at work.

"Hello, Happy–"

Mr. Arsenio, come to my room now, there is a firm voice Alberto from the phone ordering Arsenio.

After saying that, Alberto immediately ended the phone call.

Arsenio stared in wonder at the screen of her phone. His forehead shriveled, feeling strange with the orders of his superiors.

"What's this about? Why do I feel like something is weird?" arsenio said with her gaze still fixed on the screen of her phone.

He immediately got up from his seat and walked towards Alberto's room. In front of Alberto's room, Arsenio was nervous. He took a deep breath and took it out slowly. He did it so many times that the nervousness disappeared a little.

Tok…

With a slight hesitation Arsenio's hand knocked on the door.

"Lake in!" alberto was in the room.

Arsenio immediately opened the door and put on her smile as she entered the room.

Alberto who was sitting in his great chair welcomed Arsenio's arrival with his smile. He invited Arsenio to sit in front of him.

"Please sit down sir" Alberto said with a smile and pointed at the chair in front of him.

Arsenio sat in the chair. She felt a little strange with the smile Alberto gave her.

"Sorry sir, what did you tell me to come here?" asked Arsenio hesitantly.

Alberto still presents his smile to Arsenio. Then he advanced his little body and propped up his chin with both hands joined together and said,

"How have you grown to approach the CEO of the RAZ company to work with us?"

Arsenio's face paled. In his heart he said,

It is fitting that my heart feels bad, it turns out that Mr. Alberto asked about this cooperation.

"Sorry sir, I'm still trying to get close to him. Give me more time Sir" Arsenio said with a very reassuring look at Alberto.

Alberto saw the seriousness of Arsenio's face. After that he smiled and said,

"But unfortunately we don't have much time sir."

Arsenio's face turned sad. Without thinking, he said,

"So calm down, I'll try as soon as possible, sir. Just trust me."

Alberto smiled and nodded his head in response to Arsenio's words. He felt his actions were very appropriate to choose Arsenio and suppress her. 

"alright. I will wait for the good news. But remember, I can't wait long" Alberto said with a smile as if to underestimate him.

Out of Alberto's room, Arsenio immediately grabbed his phone and looked for someone's name contact. 

He stared at his phone screen when he saw his wife's name visible there and said,

"Please, help me."

His finger pressed the phone to call his wife. Just a few times the phone rang he picked up.

"Darling, how about that cooperation? Is there a bright spot?"
