Chapter 66: The Busyness of Laura

On the other hand, that night Arsenio immediately drove her car to her house. He wants to see his wife soon.

Even he didn't care about Kessy calling out her name. He was afraid that something would happen if he stayed with Kessy.

The car was speeding very fast as if it was being chased by someone. In fact, no one was chasing him. He just wanted to quickly get to his house and meet his wife.

After a while, the car driven by Arsenio entered his courtyard. The house looked dark and deserted like an uninhabited house.

Arsenio got out of her car and looked at her house and said,

"Looks like Laura hasn't come home yet."

With heavy footsteps, Arsenio walked into his house. They use all the lights and outdoor lights of their homes.

He sighed heavily looking at his quiet and lonely home. Now he feels lonely like a single man who lives alone in the big house.

He went into his room to clean his body. The atmosphere in the room felt very different. Something feels lost. His heart felt empty and empty.

Arsenio picked up her phone lying on her bedroom table. He immediately called his wife's mobile number. His feet moved back and forth while he was busy contacting his wife.

However, again his phone call was as if ignored by Laura. While walking back and forth he said,

"Laura... Where are you? Why did you not come home last night? Was he still in the hotel?" 

After many times he called his wife's mobile number and there was no answer from her, Arsenio began to get upset, she threw her phone on her bed.

Suddenly he remembered the tools he had installed on his wife's bag. He took his cell phone back to track down his wife's current whereabouts.

His emotions returned when he saw the location of his wife's existence today in an elite residential area that he knew as Ryan's house.

"Why is he still at his fucking boss' house this late? What are they really doing?" 

The questions were raised by Arsenio with her passionate emotions. He was not realistic anymore for now.

The jealousy he had made him think badly of his wife. Even his heart was now fogged with emotion.

Arsenio came out of her room. He waited for his wife while watching television. For nothing, his mind was extremely unsettled at this moment. Even what was discussed on television at this time he did not understand.

He saw his wife's whereabouts through his cell phone. She growls in anger knowing that Laura's location point is still in the same place that is in Ryan's house.

"What's he doing at his boss' house till this late? I can no longer let this happen. I will get him out of his job and leave the RAZ company so that he can no longer meet his boss" Arsenio grumbled with her emotionless eyes.

Long he waited for his wife, until he fell asleep on the sofa befriended the television that still presents the show without stopping.

Elsewhere, at Ryan's house, Laura is still helping out with her work. After driving Ryan home, it turns out that the boss did not let Laura go home. Ryan asks Laura for help to help him with some of his work.

Surely he also invited Laura to dinner with him before doing all the work he brought back home.

Laura felt her eyes ache. He immediately closed his mouth when he felt he was going to yawn. And sure enough, he was yawning at the moment.

Feeling very tired, Laura looked at the clock that was coiling in her left hand. He sighed looking at the clock showing the number twelve past twenty minutes.

"It's late at night now. Do I ask permission to go home?" laura said softly as she glanced at Ryan who was still focused on his work.

Ryan felt Laura's unease at this moment. He glanced at the watch he had in his right hand. Then he said,

"Set it done tomorrow. Now get some rest."

Like getting a breath of fresh air, Laura breathed a sigh of relief and smiled hearing Ryan's words to her.

"It's so late, Laura, why don't you just stay here? There's a lot of guest rooms in this house" Ryan said, intending to stop Laura from leaving the house.

"Sorry sir, my husband is definitely waiting for me right now. I'd better go home right now" Laura replied firmly.

Ryan smiled at Laura. She greatly admired Laura's personality who was still loyal to her husband despite being repeatedly let down.

"All right, but you're not going home alone. There are my people who will follow you until you get to your house to keep you safe" said Ryan who was staring in admiration at Laura.

Laura nodded her head and smiled at Ryan as she said,

"Thank you Sir. Tomorrow morning I'll pick you back up. Excuse me first."

Ryan lets her go home and orders her people to follow the determined Laura to keep her safe.

Laura's car left Ryan's house followed by a black car with four sturdy people in it. They are tasked to keep Laura safe until they reach her home.

After Laura's car entered her yard, Laura immediately got out of her car and into her house.

The car of Ryan's men who were assigned to follow Laura immediately left the front of Laura's house after seeing Laura enter her house.

Laura sighed watching her husband fall asleep on the sofa with the television still on.

He immediately turned off the television and went into his room. I don't know why she didn't wake her husband. What's more, she suddenly remembered the attitude of her husband and Kessy when confronted by him at a meeting in a VVIP hotel room this afternoon. His feelings are increasing at this time.

"Absolutely tired of my body. It's late, I better just wash my face. Take a shower tomorrow morning" said Laura, kneeling her stiff shoulders.

After doing her routine in the bathroom, Laura put on her long pajamas and laid her body on her bed.

"The name is. I think I have not felt the comfort of this bed for a long time," said Laura while chuckling.

Slowly his eyes closed. The soft and spacious bed was used alone without her husband disturbing her sleep.

Without feeling the time is rolling. Now the sun has greeted brightly. Laura's alarm that automatically goes off every day wakes her up.

Laura immediately got ready to go to work. She relaxed a little this morning after reading a message from Ryan saying Laura didn't have to rush to pick her up.

Out of her room in neat clothes and a bag she usually wears for work, Laura tries to wake her husband up before he leaves for work.

"Mas.. Mas. Morning already. I want to go to work first" said Laura while shaking Arsenio's body.

Slowly Arsenio's eyes opened. He was surprised to see his wife who looked well-dressed, wearing makeup and smelled the typical perfume used by Laura.

Arsenio immediately sat down and rubbed her eyes as she said,

"Have you just come home?"

"I came home last night and you were fast asleep on this couch," Laura replied as she poured UHT milk in a glass.

Arsenio followed his wife who was in the dining room. Then he said,

"Why didn't you wake me?"

"Your sleep is very sound and difficult to wake up. Never mind, I'll go to work now" Laura replied after sipping her drink.

Arsenio blocked his wife's path by standing before him. He looked suspiciously at his wife and said,

"Isn't it Saturday? Why are you going to work?"
