Chapter 7: The third mission

Tonight Laura along with her husband spent the night with them at the place that Arsenio had rented to stay.

Laura has no manager. He no longer uses the services of a manager after being cheated by his manager. A lot of Laura's income does not go into Laura's account. Unbeknownst to Laura, for several years Laura's hard-earned money went into her manager's account.

Since then he has not used the services of a manager anymore. And he felt more comfortable, no one else set it up. Like this time, when she disappeared from the set and spent the night with her husband near the set.

When they finished their ritual, Arsenio hugged his wife's body as if she did not want to lose it.

The exhausted Laura, now asleep in her husband's arms. She was comfortable in her husband's arms. 

It had been a long time since the two of them had been so busy with their work. The demands of their work both make them often do not meet. Even their communication is mostly by phone and the messages they send are just to ask questions.

Suddenly there was the sound of a message notification that he had ignored several times. A few seconds after the last message notification rang, a phone ringing sound came from Laura's phone.

With her eyes still heavy to open, Laura tried to grab her phone lying on the table by her bed.

"Hello," said Laura with a hoarse voice and still closed eyes.

Laura, where are you? I was looking for you earlier. In a moment we were told by Mr. Director to gather for night activities, there was a panicked voice of Deborah from across there.

Laura's eyes opened. With the rest of his strength still feeling heavy to get out of bed, he was in a hurry to get up and put on his clothes.

Arsenio opened her eyes slowly when she felt the movement of her wife.

"Darling, what's wrong? Is something going on?" arsenio asked as she rubbed her eyes to open even wider.

"Sorry, I think I should go back now. They were looking for me because we were going to be filming for the evening activities soon," Laura replied while wearing her clothes.

Arsenio got out of bed and picked up her clothes on the floor.

"Wait a minute, I'll drive you back there" Arsenio said as her hands were busy wearing her clothes.

Laura who had finished wearing her clothes, now she tidied her hair and appearance while saying,

"But Mas, I actually had another reason to deliver lunch to you."

Arsenio scrunched her forehead hearing his wife's words. Then he said,

"What reason?"

Laura faced her husband and looked at him with a regretful look. He said what reason he gave to the people who were on set when he left the location this afternoon.

Arsenio smiled and walked over to his wife. His hand rubbed his wife's cheek gently and said,

"Let me explain it to them."

A cuup!

Arsenio's lips landed right on Laura's lips, only kissing her at a glance. Then he took his wife's hand and said,

"Let's go."

Laura followed her husband to walk into his car. Laura looked at the hand of her husband who was holding her hand tightly.

Her lips curled upwards recalling the times of their early love affair.

They met on the same set. The involuntaryness made them get acquainted and get closer so as to bring them to the marriage relationship.

Like their good times, Arsenio went down first and opened the door for his wife. Tonight really changed their once-detached relationship back to sweetness again.

At the location there are many crews who are getting ready to shoot again. It is also seen there Anto, the director who set the current shooting.

Walking hand in hand, Arsenio and Laura came up to them.

"Good night everyone," Arsenio said to everyone. 

Everyone turned their attention to Arsenio and Laura who were standing not far away from them.

"Well, aren't you in the hospital?" anto asked with a frowning forehead.

"Sorry sir for what happened this afternoon. There was actually a misunderstanding between the information Laura had obtained earlier. The one in the hospital was actually someone else, not me. And because of her panic, Laura did not confirm it first. Forgive us for this."

Anto grinned as he shook his head looking at Laura who felt guilty towards him. Then he said,

"Next time you have to make sure first. Now you get ready. In a few minutes we'll start."

Laura looked at her husband and let go of his smiling hand while nodding her head at him.

Arsenio waited for his wife in a place not far from him. There he saw a scene that was no stranger to what he did everyday.

Inside her tent, Laura was changing her clothes. Suddenly he again saw a floating panel that was familiar to him.

"Third mission?" muttered Laura who was carefully reading the mission given to her.

"Being a waitress in a product launch event advertised by Arsenio. And the additional bonus will be given double if successful unknown to him."

Laura sighed as she read the third mission given to her. Then he said,

"How can I do it without his knowledge?"

"Laura…! Laura…! Filming will begin soon. Quickly out!" deborah exclaimed from outside the tent.

Laura immediately stood up and exhaled her breath while training her smile before she exited the tent.

He immediately came out of the tent with a smile on his lips.

Laura went through the filming process smoothly. She tried so hard to keep up with the guest stars on her show this time and she tried so hard to do everything the director told her to do.

Arsenio smiled at the persistence of his wife in acting and hosting the event. He recalled his admiration for Laura when he saw her for the first time.

The taste is back. Now he feels that their relationship lately is not what it used to be. In his heart he said,

I will try to restore our happiness as it was then.

After Laura finished doing her part, she walked towards her seat to wait for her turn back.

Seeing his wife sitting by herself, Arsenio immediately came to him to accompany her.

"It seems like it's been a long time since I've seen you do this" said Arsenio, who was sitting next to Laura.

Laura smiled bitterly at the words of her husband. Then he said,

"Everything has changed. Even our attitudes and relationships change."

Suddenly, a notification message from Arsenio's phone sounded. He immediately picked it up and read the message.

"I'm sorry if our relationship isn't what it used to be. I want to fix it so we can be like we used to be. I hope you want to do it too" said Arsenio who stared fixedly bead his wife's eyes.

Laura smiled and nodded her head to approve her husband's words.

"Tomorrow at night I have to attend a company party I'm advertising for their product launch. You should come with me. I don't want to be said to have no wife for attending a party alone" Arsenio said, holding his wife's hands.

The deg!

This is really happening. I don't think he's gonna take me. How'this? What am I supposed to tell him? Laura said in her heart.

"Honey. Tomorrow night you have to look as beautiful as possible. I want you to be the prettiest woman in–"

"Sorry, I can't seem to. Maybe next time I can accompany you to a party like that" said Laura interrupting her husband's remarks.

"Dear dear. said you agreed to restore our relationship as it used to be," pinta Arsenio who tried to persuade his wife to come to the party with him.

"I can't, I can't" Laura said with a look filled with regret.

Arsenio looked questioningly at his wife while saying,

"Why? Why can't it?"
