Chapter 35: The wounded heart

"My stomach is so hungry" said Laura, clutching her stomach which had rung, rebelling to ask for food.

Laura took the phone from her bag. He sighed, annoyed to be seen on his face. The message sent to her husband was not answered. The message was not read by her husband.

"Are you as busy as you are, to the point of not having time to read my message?" Laura is monologuing while looking at the screen of her phone.

He sighed again while putting the phone back in his bag. 

His eyes now turned to look around him. The loneliness returned to him. The park that had been quiet and quiet began to be visited by visitors.

Many visitors who came in pairs to the park. There are also those who are with their children. Laura smiled bitterly looking at them. His life is not as beautiful as theirs. She feels alone even though her marriage is five years old.

"I'd better buy lunch. It's free for me to wait for Mas Arsenio to take him to lunch if my message isn't read" Laura grumbled with a sigh.

He left the park in his car to a nearby restaurant.

I don't know why Laura felt so uncomfortable. I felt like I was reluctant to enter the restaurant. 

However, Laura thought of it as an effect of her hunger alone. He got out of his car and immediately entered the restaurant.

Suddenly his steps stopped. His eyes widened to see Arsenio sitting with Kessy. Even Kessy's hands did not slip spoiled on Arsenio's hands. 

Just contact with the fierce anger made Laura's feet step up to approach them.

However, at once his footsteps stopped when he saw the person sitting in front of Arsenio and Kessy.

"Sir Alberto?" laura muttered when she saw the person in front of her husband.

Laura sat not far from them. He sat back to them to be unknown to them. 

A waitress approached him and handed him a menu book. Laura tells him to leave the menu book on his desk. And he also told the waitress that he would order food after his friend came.

Waitress nodded her head and left Laura with the menu book.

Laura opened the menu book and pretended to be busy with her phone. He listened to all three of them talk. 

What is this talk? All of their conversations had nothing to do with work. And why would Kessy be with them? Is that why Mas Arsenio didn't read my message? The insolent! Just watch out for you, Laura grumbled in her heart.

Laura sent a message back to her husband. She activated her front camera and pointed it at her husband's desk. He watches what happens at the table from his phone screen.

However, Arsenio did not also take her phone. He kept busy talking to Alberto and Kessy.

He even contacted Arsenio to confirm her whereabouts right now. Unfortunately his phone call was just a missed call.

His upper and lower teeth tightened up in anger when he saw Kessy clinging to Arsenio. Even his chest was affixed to Arsenio's arm.

This is how you behave, Mas. You promised me last night. And it turned out that it was all just nonsense, Laura said in her heart with teary eyes.

Her heart felt very sick to see her husband making out with other women. Moreover, the woman had a relationship with him.

Is this what you whispered to him at the restaurant that night? Did you ask her to meet somewhere else? Wicked you Mas! Laura again said in her heart with her eyes still looking at the screen of her phone.

Arsenio looked back to look at Kessy's chest attached to her arm. Kessy smiled sweetly at Arsenio and she pressed her chest against her arm.

Alberto smiled as he followed Arsenio's line of sight. He understood if his presence there was bothering them.

Seeing Alberto who moved from his seat, Laura immediately pulled and turned off her phone. He does not want his presence to be known to Alberto, though he is convinced that Alberto will not recognize him.

Laura quickly got up from her seat and walked over to her husband's desk.

"What are you guys doing here?" 

Laura's voice made Arsenio and Kessy turn towards her.

"Darling, dear" chirped Arsenio nervously with her wide eyes seeing his wife already standing before him.

Kessy smirked at Laura who looked very angry at the two of them. He pressed his hand against Arsenio's arm so that his chest was firmly attached to her arm.

Laura grinned at Kessy's lowly self-deprecating behavior. Even he wanted to spit on the woman's face and humiliate her in front of everyone.

However, his mind was still very sane. Laura could still control her emotions and anger. She does not want to be a woman who humbles herself and has ugly images in front of everyone.

"What do you want to have lunch with me with a woman who doesn't know herself?" laura asked casually with her grin.

At once Arsenio threw out Kessy's hand which with all her strength held Arsenio. Unfortunately, Kessy's energy is not comparable to Arsenio's. Kessy's hand was violently smashed. Then he got up from his seat and walked over to his wife.

Arsenio prefers his wife compared to Kessy who is only his ex-girlfriend. In addition, she recalled Kessy saying that Laura had bought a PS5 for the man she loved. And Arsenio was convinced that what Laura meant was her.

Arsenio wrapped her hands around Laura's waist. She quickly took Laura away from the place.

Kessy looked at the two of them with anger. He could not prevent it because he would be embarrassed if he acted in that place which happened to be crowded with visitors at lunchtime.

Laura just complied, she walked with her husband out of the restaurant.

Moreover, Laura also had to avoid Alberto who was also in that place. With a quick step, she walked to adjust her husband's steps.

He seems to be in a hurry. Did he avoid Kessy and Mr Alberto? Or maybe I'm afraid I'm going berserk there? Laura wondered in her heart as she walked towards her car.

"Where's the car key?" arsenio asked as she turned her hand to Laura.

Laura handed over the car keys and said,

"Why can you be with him?"

Arsenio sighed. He looks very frustrated to be in this situation. 

"We're not alone. We are with Mr. Alberto. And he invited me to eat with him. I can't refuse it. Do you know what my position is?" arsenio said with a pitying look at his wife.

"Then, what does this have to do with that lowly woman?" asked Laura who still could not accept her husband's explanation.

Arsenio sighed again. He looked nervous and panicked at that moment. Then he said,

"Let me explain it somewhere else. We'll get out of this place."

Arsenio opened the car door for his wife. His eyes opened the car door. Then he said,

"Darling, this…."
