Chapter 89: The Good News

After four weeks, Arsenio was shocked by the news from someone.

"Honey, I'm pregnant" said Kessy as she extended her hand before Arsenio.

Arsenio was flabbergasted to see the thing Kessy had given her. He didn't take that thing. He only noticed the object called the test pack clearly showed two lines on the tool.

"Then?" asked Arsenio calmly.

Arsenio seemed not interested at all in what Kessy conveyed to her. He prefers to do what he is doing right now.

"Darling, how the hell are you? What's in my womb is your son. Do not pretend not to know," said Kessy with annoyance accompanied by his sulking style.

Arsenio who was cleaning the yard of her mother's house was just ignoring Kessy. He was busy cleaning the yard of his mother's house which was filled with some second-hand goods from his mother all this time. The collection of used items reminded Arsenio to return to her mother's dementia who often brought used items home.

Since his discharge from the hospital at that time, Arsenio lived in his mother's house and of course his life changed very drastically. He no longer had Laura as his wife who usually always served all his wishes. Now he has to be able to defend himself.

Arsenio's appearance is not like Laura's husband. His appearance now seems shabby and messy. Only Kessy is with him every day although his presence does not always get a good reception from Arsenio.

Arsenio stopped what she was doing right now. He looked at Kessy with a flat look and said,

"I'm sorry, I'm not interested in your jokes."

Kessy pulled Arsenio's hand very upset and said,

"This is your son, honey. You must be responsible! Marry me. I don't want to give birth to a child without a husband."

Arsenio sighed. He stared intensely at Kessy's bead eyes. Then he said,

"Are you sure it's my son?"

"Whatchu mean? Didn't we do it that night? Have you forgotten that?" kessy asked with her frustration.

Arsenio scrunched her forehead. He looked at Kessy with a look of condescension and said,

"Don't you do it often with other people?" 

Kessy drew Arsenio's hands together and said,

"No. I never did that with anyone else. Ever since I did that with you, I've never had a relationship with any man. Will you kill this innocent baby?"

Arsenio looked at Kessy's face doubtfully. After that he turned his attention to his activities back, cleaning the yard of his mother's house from used items that had been there for a long time.

Kessy looks really angry at the moment. During his life, he had never been ignored at all by anyone. And only Arsenio would dare to ignore him and reject him every time he wanted to.

Kessy took something from her bag. He approached Arsenio and said,

"I'll end my life if you don't want to admit it and marry me!" 

Arsenio turned towards him. He is shocked to see a folding knife placed by Kessy on top of his wrist to threaten him.

"Are you crazy?!" asked Arsenio who was surprised but tried to calm down.

"I don't care. I just don't want to be ashamed in front of people. And of course my parents would also be very angry if they found out that the man I slept with did not want to be responsible for my pregnancy" Kessy said with teary eyes.

"But why should I?" tanya Arsenio was accompanied by her breath.

Kessy stepped closer to Arsenio and further tightened the knife on her skin, so that there was a thin scratch accompanied by a little red liquid on her wrist.

Seeing Kessy's recklessness, Arsenio panicked and said,

"All right! I concur. But don't do that. Throw the knife away."

"Thank you, dear. Let's go meet my parents and we'll have this wedding as soon as possible" said Kessy, who sounded very happy.

There was nothing more Arsenio could do. She feels her life is ruined when the court decides to divorce Laura. There was a desire to be reunited with his ex-wife. But he must be able to be more successful than he is now in order to confidently ask his ex-wife back to him.

But his desire was in vain. Now circumstances require her to marry Kessy to take responsibility for her pregnancy. 

At that time Kessy also invited Arsenio to meet her parents. Of course, both of Kessy's parents agreed to their marriage so as not to embarrass their family's good name.

Kessy had planned it all. The invitations, the venue for their wedding party and so on had been arranged by him. And their wedding will be held next week with a festive party.

Since then Arsenio has a cold face like a person who does not have a heart. At work he became more assertive than usual. Even at this moment he could not tolerate any minor mistakes made by his subordinates.

That afternoon, Kessy visited the RAZ company. She accidentally comes to Ryan's office to meet with Laura. With great confidence she gave Laura her wedding invitation.

Kessy is sitting on the couch in Ryan's office. Ryan and Laura were sitting next to each other. 

"What's this?" laura asked as Kessy extended her wedding invitation along with Arsenio.

Kessy smiled and placed the invitation on the table in front of them because Laura did not accept it. 

"Read it. And we really wanted you to come to the show" Kessy said with a sweet smile.

Ryan grinned. She and Laura were not fools who did not know the wedding invitation even if they just saw it. He took the invitation and read it.

"Wow.. Congratulations on your marriage. You are finally married. But it's a pity that we won't be able to attend your wedding" Ryan said with a happy smile.

Laura just watched and listened to the conversation between Ryan and Kessy. She felt pain in her heart knowing the news of her ex-husband's marriage along with his affair.

"Why? Are you still not moving on Laura?" kessy asked as if to mock Laura.

Ryan laughed at Kessy's question to Laura. She looked at Laura who was reluctant to respond to Kessy's words.

"Didn't you know Laura's suing her ex-husband for divorce? That means her ex-husband has not been in her heart since then" Ryan said.

"Then why can't you two come?" ask Kessy while grinning.

Ryan took Laura's hand and said,

"Unfortunately on the same day, we also had a wedding party. And we deliberately didn't invite you two over so as not to ruin our wedding."

Instantly Kessy widened her eyes to hear Ryan's words. A second later he smiled widely and said,

"Well, I congratulate you both. You shouldn't have to worry that Arsenio would ruin your wedding because I'm pregnant with her child. He is very happy because as you know, Arsenio really wanted the presence of children all this time. And now he got it from me."

Laura grinned. He looked dislikefully at Kessy and said,

"Originally you know. I had a miscarriage because of you. So don't be proud of yourself before you can safely deliver that innocent baby even if it comes from an affair."

Laura's words made Kessy very angry. He got up from his seat and said,

"I'll excuse you. And I'm waiting for your wedding invitation. Don't let me think that marriage is just your boo."

After saying that, Kessy left the room with a slight annoyance at Laura and Ryan who could easily respond to her arrogance.

"Sorry sir, why did you tell Kessy that lie?" laura asked as she looked at Ryan who was also looking at her.
