Chapter 15: The Rescue

During her journey from the toilet to her dining room, Laura found nothing unusual.

However, he still had to be vigilant. She also could not just calm down without knowing who would harm her husband and what harm would happen to her husband.

"Hufffttt. I left them too long ago. They must be looking for me" said Laura with her breath accompanying her footsteps to her room.

As he passed by Arsenio's room he turned to look towards the room. No one came in and out of the room. There was only laughter coming from inside the room.

However, as Laura stepped out to head for her room, she heard a female voice from inside the room.

Suddenly his feelings became anxious. He was afraid that the events at the party the other day would happen again.

How can I save him? Do I have to disguise myself as a waiter again, in order to find out? But for free, this room is private, it is not allowed waiter or waitress to be in there. Then what should I do? Laura wondered in her heart with her eyes still fixed on her husband's room.

Suddenly the room Laura ate with her teammate was open. A male assistant director came out of the room.

Laura who was still raging with her mind became stunned looking at the door of Arsenio's room. 

"Laura, why are you standing there? Why not go in? They're all waiting for you. You're the only woman on our team, you should have poured drinks on everyone, especially our director," said Dani, assistant director of Anto.

Laura was clumsy, she felt like she was being caught while doing something. Without saying a word, he walked into his room.

All eyes were on Laura as she walked into the room. Seeing all eyes on her, Laura said,

"I'm sorry, I was out of bed when I went to the toilet."

After saying that, Laura immediately returned to her place. He continued to eat the food on his plate.

It felt like he was reluctant to eat back the food he had left behind a few minutes ago.

However, he had no reason not to eat it. She was forced to try to swallow the food amid her anxiety for her husband.

Suddenly a door opened from the next room. Laura stopped eating and moved from her seat.

"I'm sorry, it looks like I have to go back to the toilet" Laura said in a hurry.

He immediately walked out of the room without waiting for an answer from the person inside.

Too late, no one was outside their room. But he couldn't just give up. Laura immediately walked slowly and very carefully so as not to make a sound from her footsteps.

Fortunately, I am not wearing high heels at the moment. Otherwise, there would definitely be a noise coming from my shoes, Laura said in her heart with a sigh of relief.

Laura's eyes were still looking for someone who was around there. His ears also work together to listen to whatever is there.

"It seems like a good time for us to make a second plan after the first one failed."

Suddenly, a man's voice was heard around the street that Laura was walking through.

Laura put her ears together and approached the source of the voice. Very carefully, he walked quietly to see and hear more clearly the sound.

"alright. It looks like we have to work with Rena to get rid of Arsenio" said another man who was talking to the man.

"But don't let Rena know our purpose. Let him know if we help him get Arsenio and boost his career" said the first man.

The first man also chuckled at the words of his friend. Then the first man took something from his pocket and gave it to the second man in front of him, saying,

"Mix this in his drink. And make sure he drinks it."

The second man took a glass vial bottle containing powder from the first man's hand. He grinned and put it in his pants pocket.

"Send me. You better go in first and distract him so I can mix his drinks" said the second man confidently.

Laura's eyes widened to hear and see what was happening. His hand shut his mouth so as not to make a sound from being surprised to see all that.

Laura could see and hear everything clearly. He was hiding behind a wall not far from them.

In that panic Laura said in her heart,

I have to find a way to save Mas Arsenio. But how? Think Laura... think! 

An idea came to Laura's mind. She immediately tidied up her clothes and took off her hair ties so that her hair could break down beautifully.

After the first man left the second man who was still in the place, Laura came out of her hiding place.

Laura walked in a very seductive manner in front of the man. He blinked one eye so that the man would be tempted.

"Can we get acquainted?" laura asked the man who did not know Laura.

The man is from another team that does not recognize Laura as Arsenio's wife. 

"It seems your face is not foreign. Maybe we've met before?" asked the man to Laura with an interested look.

Laura placed both hands on the collar of the man's shirt and slightly pulled him closer.

Their bodies are barely spaced. Laura smiled teasingly and said,

"That's possible. Everything could happen."

Their gazes clashed. Laura held the attention of the man with her eyes and her smile.

Laura's right hand still pulled the collar of the man's shirt. While his left hand gently rubbed the chest of the man and moved further down as if exploring parts of his body.

It turned out that the purpose of Laura's hand was the pocket of the man's pants in which there was a glass vial bottle that became his target.

With a shrewd hand Laura managed to take the bottle from the pocket of the men's pants.

Laura's appeal succeeded. Even the man was clouded by Laura's beauty and was lulled by the gentle touch of her hands.

Laura's hand moved so agile that the man did not realize that the bottle was now in Laura's hand.

Unbeknownst to Laura and the man, there was a pair of eyes looking at them at this moment. The pair of eyes recognized Laura and the man.
