Chapter 38: The car swaying

The night was very beautiful for a couple who had spent their night in a beautiful place.

Laura was really with her words. He invites Arsenio to spend their night in the car.

As Laura suggested, their evening activity was done in the car. The night is really quiet and only accompanied by the pounding waves and the breeze of the night wind on the beach it makes its own impression for their hot activity this time.

The spirit of both of them was driven by the atmosphere of the night, until their cars swayed to follow the movements of those who were on the move in the car.

They smiled at each other satisfied with what they were doing. And they fell asleep in the car to rest their bodies, to welcome the beautiful morning.

The rising sun began to disturb their sleep. Even the sunlight seemed to pierce their eyes to wake the couple from their deep sleep.

Their eyes blinked and began to open. Their hands banished the sunlight that burst into the glass windows of their cars.

"It was morning. The sun had risen" Laura said, rubbing her eyes.

Arsenio turned towards Laura. He smiled and rubbed his wife's cheek gently and affectionately.

"Thank you for a night that will never be forgotten" Arsenio said with a gentle look in his wife's eyes.

Laura smiled back at her husband. She smiled sweetly and nodded her head in response to her husband's words.

"We'd better take a walk on the beach. Mumpung is still morning," asked Arsenio to his wife.

Laura moved out of her sleep, saying,

"Let's go, we see the beauty of this place."

Arsenio got out of her sleep and got out of the car after his wife who had first got out of the car.

Laura was surprised when Arsenio clasped her hand. They both walked along the beach. What a beautiful and romantic atmosphere for both of them. Those moments will be great memories for them.

Suddenly, simultaneously heard the sound of notification messages from their phones.

The two of them turned to each other and smiled amusedly to find their phones simultaneously ringing.

Soon they took the phone out of their pocket and read the message.

Laura's eyes sparkled when she saw the nominal money she got from the results of carrying out her mission.

Twenty million rupiah. Same with the pain I felt. I had expected that if the mission given was not that easy, Laura said in her heart while smilingly looking at her phone screen.

Unlike Laura, Arsenio stared in disbelief at her phone screen. Even she could not say anything when Laura asked him something.

"What's up, Mom? Why are you so quiet like that? Is there a problem?" laura asked with a probing look at her husband.

Arsenio was still flabbergasted. Tongue's moody. He was speechless at the moment. His eyes were still staring at the screen of his phone.

"Mas... Mas Arsen why? What's going on?" laura asked back while shaking her husband's arm.

Arsenio suddenly woke up. He put his phone back in his pocket and smiled stiffly and said,

"No. There's nothing."

Laura realizes her husband's unusual behavior. She did not believe what her husband was saying at this time, as it was obvious that Arsenio was hiding something.

With a quick movement Laura took her husband's cell phone out of her pocket. Arsenio was shocked and tried to ban his wife from seeing her cell phone.

However, Laura grinned in response to her husband's request. She could easily unlock her husband's phone and see the message he had just received.

"Darling, I can explain. I also didn't think if–" 

"If what? Does this mean that the message you received was really for you?" laura asked impassively while showing Arsenio's phone screen that still showed the message.

Arsenio was frightened to see his wife who looked very angry at him. But he couldn't dodge it anymore, he could only admit it and apologize to his wife.

With hesitation Arsenio nodded her head. As fast as lightning he grabbed his wife's hands and apologized to her.

"I'm sorry, honey. I'll explain everything. Don't upset. It's just a misunderstanding" Arsenio said with a tearful look at Laura and held her hands tightly together.

Laura threw both hands of Arsenio who was holding them. Unfortunately Arsenio held it tightly, so Laura struggled to release her hand from her husband's.

However, with all her strength Laura managed to throw Arsenio's hand and said,

"Misunderstand what you said, Mom? If you really admit it, there's no way this is all just a misunderstanding!" 

Laura's tears are shed by themselves. He could no longer hold back his anger and tears. Even his chest felt extremely claustrophobic in accepting the reality he had just known.

Laura brushed away the tears that were brazenly coming out without her consent. She did not want to look weak in front of her husband at this time. She wanted to be a stout and strong Laura in front of her husband.

"Say! What reason would you explain to me! Say it!" laura exclaimed with a look at her husband filled with anger.

Arsenio sighed. He knew he could no longer escape. His hand pulled Laura's hand to be invited to sit under a coconut tree not far from where she was standing at this time.

Laura rebelled wanting to take her hand off her husband, unfortunately it didn't work out. She could not take her hand off her husband's.

Now they both sit under the coconut tree. They looked at each other straight ahead, towards the beach whose waves were rolling beautifully.

"I borrowed money from the bank to return the money I borrowed from the savings of our future son at that time" Arsenio said, staring at his wife.

Still facing forward, as if enjoying the beauty of the beach in front of her, Laura said,

"What is it to buy a cursed item called a PS5?" 

Arsenio nodded her head while saying,

"Yes, right. But you destroyed that thing."

Laura smiled bitterly laughing at her stupidity. And he said, too,

"Even I bought back that cursed thing yesterday as your birthday gift even though it reminds me of my mother's death."

Arsenio was stunned, she remembered her stupidity back then. The foolishness that made Laura angry at him for the death of her mother.

"Sorry Honey, I really don't know that time if mom–"

"That's it. I don't want to talk about that anymore. Discussing it made my heart ache and made me feel even more guilty towards my mother" Laura said cynically without looking at her husband.

Arsenio sighed. He knew it was all his fault. He even realized his stupidity at that moment.

"Sorry."

Only an apology could Arsenio say to Laura.

Laura grinned at the sorry words that Arsenio could say so easily. Even he was very difficult to say sorry to his mother who was gone when he arrived at the hospital at that time.

"Then, why is the number so large? What do you think of that kind of money?" laura asked firmly and looked at her husband with an intimidating look.
