Chapter 45: The Meeting

Kessy, who was sitting on Arsenio's desk, crossed her legs until clearly visible part of her thighs were scattered up to the top. Then he smiled and said,

"I still don't have a desire. We better try to do our job well."

"Our work? Whatchu mean?" arsenio asked with a suspicious look at Kessy.

Kessy brought her back closer so that her face was right in front of Arsenio's face. He stared intensely at Arsenio's eyes and smiled at her, saying,

"You forgot that Mr Alberto assigned me to help you with your work?"

At once Arsenio remembered that Alberto put Kessy to help him in his work.

"I don't forget" said Arsenio as she moved from her seat.

Kessy got up from the table she was sitting on. His eyes followed Arsenio who was walking away from her place. Then he said,

"Where are you going?"

Arsenio turned to look at Kessy and said,

"I have some business. Just take care of your business. Don't wait for me here. I'm gonna lock this room."

Kessy walked out of the room. He was waiting for Arsenio who was locking his room.

"Why not go yet?" asked Arsenio with her flat face.

Kessy showed me the blank check she had brought and said,

"I'll bring him back. Call me if you need it."

Arsenio felt extremely embarrassed and humiliated at this moment. He leaves Kessy looking to tease him. Even he was following Arsenio at the moment.

Arsenio who understood if she was being followed by Kessy, she immediately turned the corner and went inside the men's toilet.

Kessy felt annoyed at Arsenio who had been waiting for her in front of the toilet for a long time. Finally he left the place while grumbling in annoyance,

"We'll see later. What's gonna happen."

After learning that Kessy was no longer in front of the door, Arsenio immediately came out of the toilet.

For a moment he felt relieved that he had been able to avoid Kessy for now. Somehow later, he also does not know what Kessy will do when they work together.

Soon he's headed to his car park to go somewhere.

After a while, Arsenio arrived at the place she was referring to. He stared at the building with his breath that hinted at frustration.

The building in front of him was a building that made his life now in trouble.

Arsenio entered the building. He directly met the party who is fully responsible for the bank's customer loans.

Arsenio did not want to deal with the teller or customer service to repay the loan. He did not want to misstep again because of his trust in them. 

Now he is dealing directly with the party who handles and is fully responsible for all bank customer loans. He paid ten percent of his current loan.

"Much less? Where do I find this much money?" arsenio said with her breath.

After seeing the nominal remaining debt in his car, Arsenio immediately drove the car to his office.

Kessy was waiting for Arsenio in Alberto's room. He wanted to take Arsenio to lunch with him.

"Kessy, why are you so eager to get close to Arsenio? You know if he's married?" ask Alberto who was having lunch in his room with Kessy.

"As Om knows, he's my ex-boyfriend. And now I want to go back to him" replied Kessy casually.

Alberto stopped eating. He looked at his nephew with curiosity as he said,

"Why should? You're beautiful and Om is sure that it's not just Arsenio the man in your life."

Alberto chuckled at what the nephew of his wife had said. Kessy is not his own niece, but Kessy is very close to him compared to his wife who is a aunt of Kessy.

As for Arsenio, she skipped her lunch and simply enjoyed a slice of sandwich in her car on the way to her office.

In the afternoon, Arsenio prepared to meet with parties who want to work with his company. He prepared everything meticulously because he did not want the cooperation to fail just like that.

Arsenio was always serious and earnest in her work. That's why Alberto believed him.

Suddenly the door of Arsenio's room opened. Arsenio turned to the door. He sighed looking at the person who opened the door of his room.

"What else is it? Not that I told you, don't bother– anymore"

"I will accompany you to this meeting" said Kessy as she walked closer to Arsenio who was preparing the papers on her desk.

"this meeting? Meeting with company–"

"Yes. Mr. Alberto sent me to work with you from now on" Kessy said with a smile that expanded.

Arsenio stared in disbelief at Kessy. And he said in his heart,

Damnit damnit! I hope he won't screw things up. 

"Look, honey, I'm not gonna screw up this meeting. I will help you so that they can work with us" said Kessy who seemed to know the meaning of Arsenio's eyes on him.

"I hold your word. And don't let me be disappointed in you," said Arsenio as he readied the files he would bring.

Kessy walked over to Arsenio. His hand rubbed Arsenio's chest gently and said,

"Didn't you trust me?"

Arsenio removed Kessy's hand from her chest and said,

"Dear your attitude if you still want to keep working with me."

Kessy laughed at the threat Arsenio had given her. He felt that Arsenio's loyal attitude was still attached to him.

"You're still the same as you used to be, baby. I love your faithful attitude towards your partner" Kessy said in her laugh.

Arsenio looked at Kessy and smirked at her. Then he said,

"really? Don't you not like me because I'm too loyal, so it forbids you to have an affair with another man?"

Kessy stopped her laughter. He approached Arsenio and wrapped his hands around Arsenio's neck saying,

"That was before, before I regretted your departure from my side. Now I've changed. And I want to come back to you."

Arsenio threw both of Kessy's hands down while saying firmly,

"Don't expect. I love my wife so much. And I'm not gonna betray him."

"We'll see, honey. Because of everyone, it will gradually change. No exception to this feeling in your heart," Kessy said with a grin and pointed at Arsenio's chest.

Arsenio again threw Kessy's hand on her chest. Then he picked up the bag and the files on his desk and said,

"That's it. Stop this nonsense. We're leaving now."

Kessy followed with difficulty Arsenio's wide steps in order to walk by her side. Everyone in the office looked towards them as they crossed paths with the two of them.

How not, Kessy wrapped her hands around Arsenio's arms as she walked by her side. He still did it even though Arsenio had already banned him.

Arriving at the destination, Arsenio and Kessy enter the place. They meet with the company that will work with them. 

Arsenio's eyes widened when she saw someone she knew so well. In his heart he said,

What are they doing here?
